The Hunt for Osama bin WHO????

The hunt for Osama bin Laden continues. Or does it? If one believes that we Americans, with all our surveillance capabilities, manpower and high tech weaponry are actually hunting for Osama, one also must believe that the tooth fairy places $1.00 per tooth under our pillow. Fantasy, fiction, bullshit. Pick one of the three. "America's Most Wanted," "Wanted Dead or Alive," or "I don't know where he is. I don't spend much time on him."

If you guessed number 3, you win the grand prize. Bullshit + "I don't know where he is. I don't spend much time on him." Those are the words of George Boosh, and per usual, it is only half the truth. He's certainly telling the truth when he says "I don't spend much time on him." Boosh likely spends more time playing with his Erector Set in Crawford than he does on ordering people to hunt Osama. The bullshit comes when he says, "I don't know where he is." The dimwit probably talked to him yesterday.

The Boosh ties with the bin Laden family go back over 30 years. This is an undisputed fact. Another undisputed fact is that shortly after 9/11, all American airplanes were grounded for days. But the Boosh administration, with help from Daddy Boosh, managed to once again make up their own rules and arrange transportation for some 20 bin Laden family members to be whisked away to Saudi Arabia while many American citizens were stranded in airports, and the rest were in shock over the tragedy of 9/11. After the bin Laden's were safely tucked away, Boosh started the Tough Cowboy Talk; "Wanted Dead or Alive," "We will hunt through every cave...." and my favorite, "Those responsible will be brought to justice." When I hear this coming from the mouth of Boosh or one of his cronies, it makes me want to puke. It is right up there on the Gag-O-Meter with the infamous Ashcroft line, "Person of Interest." Just what the hell is a person of interest? One would assume that the term "Person of Interest" was created so that we could have justify the illegal act of holding citizens and non-citizens alike. Hold them endlessly without charges being filed, or their having the right to converse with an attorney, family member, or anyone outside of the hellholes that we dump them in.

As you all know, I have been an investigator for much of my professional life. I could find Osama bin Laden if the task were given to me. It really wouldn't be that tough. After all, how many 6'5 men of Arab descent are walking through the desert and into caves dragging a dialysis machine with them? Surely not many. But I am ahead of myself here. Let's begin with these "statements" that bin Laden releases to Aljazeera every time Boosh gets in trouble in the polls. It is simply cunning how the timing of these releases always comes when Boosh most needs a distraction. Prior to the latest release, bin Laden conveniently released a tape right before the 2004 Presidential election, playing up the fear factor that is so instilled into Americans that it will take a century to change. If only we had a century to work with, that is. Think that timing had something to do with the outcome of the election? Just in case stealing Ohio wasn't enough, Boosh had to play on the fears of the American people to guarantee that a large number of fence sitters voted for him. Gotta cover all the bases, a back up plan, you know.

The latest bin Laden released tape threatening "middle America" is a new twist. Now the people in New York, Washington, and Los Angeles aren't the only ones that need to be afraid. Topeka, Kansas is now on the hit list. That is about as middle America as you can get. And, the release comes at a time when Boosh sorely needs a little boost in the polls, and a distraction from his illegal spying on American's phone calls and emails. Not to mention, gotta get everybody's mind off of the Alito nomination. So, I'm going to do a Cyclone public service and tell Boosh and his minions a couple of things to think about during their "search for bin Laden."

1) Plant someone outside of Aljazeera and watch who comes in the door. Surely we aren't so far removed from the cold war that we have forgotten the basics here. Videotape everyone who enters the building, and when a new message shows up, go pick up whoever dropped it off and squeeze their nuts until they tell where they got it. You know, that torture thing you fought so hard to keep out of our laws, and when that failed you signed a letter to yourself saying that you weren't going to follow the law anyway. Granted, whoever drops off the tape will likely be far removed from bin Laden, but you've gotta start somewhere. You might be surprised what you might learn. Hell, you could even use digital photography and save money on tape or film.

What do we do instead? When Scottie McClellan is asked where the tape came from, he always says, "Aljazeera won't tell us." Darn, guess we'll never know. Those TV people just can't be counted on for anything helpful. We're back to the tooth fairy thing again.

2) Call your buddies in Saudi Arabia and ask them where the hell he is. Surely they talk to him and have some general idea. Screw the spelunking, use the damn telephone. Put a little pressure on some folks, and quit playing GI Joe and going from cave to cave, or at least quit telling us that is what we are doing. We may be mostly morons, but a few of us can see through your lies.

3) Quit thinking that raising the reward money is going to uncover him. This is beyond laughable. What are we up to now, $100 Million? Is that the price on his head now? Do you actually think that anyone in the Arab world would believe that you would really pay them? With what, a hot check? Take our word for it? The people that actually know where bin Laden is have more money than you can print, so cool it with the reward nonsense.

4) Make Masharruf quit hiding him and give him up. For God's sake, if he is near the border of Iraq/Pakistan, send some boys in there and start squeezing some Pakistani gonads. That torture thing, again. They will tell, and you won't even have to pay the blood money to get him.

I could go on with other investigative 101 tactics but I won't. Because it doesn't matter. We are not looking for Osama bin Laden and never have been. Had we been looking for him, ever, the last thing we would have done would have been to let his family go the night of 9/11. We would have them in Gitmo, every last one of them. And we would keep them. Not that it would matter, of course. Osama doesn't give a damn about his family, he abandoned them long ago.

But his other family, the Boosh tribe, he did not abandon. They have been good to him over the last 30+ years, and he has been good to them. He pops out a statement seemingly every time Boosh desperately needs one, if it is even he who speaks on these things. We will never know. He could very well be dead, and the CIA is falsely authenticating his voice. Each time one is released, we watch the Boosh charade of having the CIA authenticate it, saying "we're not yet sure it is him." Then they say it's legitimate, and the fear of the American people is ramped up a notch. Just like clockwork, and always a little too convenient to be believable.

We know where Osama bin Laden is, always have, and have NEVER been hunting him. We drop an occasional missle claiming to know that someone is going to be at some ridiculous "party," blow up some women and children, all for nothing but show. Darn, we may have gotten al Qaeda's Number Two man. Didn't we already get him? About 10 times? How many cards are in this absurd deck of cards that Rummy used to like to play with? How often do the names and numbers change? This has been going on for so long that beyond Osama and al Zarqawi, who the hell knows who we have killed and who we haven't? Or, who we are still looking for? Most of the people we catch we end up letting go anyway, so who can keep track? We just know that "they are on their last legs," because Booshco said so. The continual troop deaths in Iraq sure prove that to be true.

It's all mere cover, so the idiot American people can get scared and buy the bullshit that this administration spews. Quite frankly, it becoming nauseating. We can intercept party invitations, but can't find a dialysis machine. Give me a freaking break.

Booshco, the offer stands. When you want Osama, I'll go find him for you. Cyclone and his family could use $100 million. But, if you don't mind, could I get that in gold or Euros or something other than dollars? Somehow, I think soon, $100 million American dollars may not be worth more than the paper it is printed on.

Spreading Democracy Around the World: Be Careful What You Ask For

As Boosh continues to "spread democracy around the world," I can't help but reflect on the victory of Hamas (the Islamic Resistance Movement) during the Palestinian elections. Sure, we want to spread democracy, but that is not exactly what we had in mind. Boosh has already decided that we won't have anything to do with the newly elected leaders. It took about 3 hours for that announcement to be made. They are terrorists, after all. Aren't they? But wait. Isn't this what we have called for? Democratic elections across the Globe? Could the truth be different than what passes from the putrid lips of the Commander in Chief? Surely not. How confusing!

The Upset

George Boosh is a dumbass. Plain and simple. I am not at all surprised that Hamas enjoyed more Palestinian election victory parties than anyone else. In fact, I would have been shocked had they not. This possibility apparently never crossed the mind of the Dimwit in Charge, however. In his twisted little mind, no one, he thought, could possibly grant power to our arch enemy, the terrorists.

Here are the numbers:

Hamas---76 seats

Fatah---43 seats

The remaining 13 seats were divided among independents and smaller parties.

How It Happened
In the down and dirty world of politics, the ones that take care of the people they represent the best should win, usually do win in places other than the USA, and that is exactly what happened in Palestine. While Fatah (the Palestinian Authority) was busy appeasing Israel and Booshco, Hamas was taking care of the Palestinian people. Doing things like sending them to school, paying them money during their times of need, such as after the death of loved ones, doing the little things that people remember. The things that we used to do for our citizens in America. Before we lost our way, and decided that taking over the world was more important than caring for our own people. Hamas was not kowtowing to the Great Satan.

This is something that Boosh should pay attention to and learn from. Maybe even re-think his position on, if that is possible. This is 2 elections in a row that have shocked him. (I won't even count Afghanistan against him, where it looks like the Taliban are regaining control. I won't count it because, for all practical purposes, we have abandoned the Afghan people after blowing their country to hell and back.) First, in Iraq, where the Boosh hand picked leader was soundly defeated, now in Palestine, where Hamas has siezed control. Boosh believes that God leads him to do what he does, has led him on this mission to "bring democracy to the world." Well, he had better learn something and learn it quick. The countries that he has chosen to "bring Democracy to" follow a different God than he does. Who's to say that they aren't doing exactly what their God, Allah, tells them to? Vote for who Allah wants in power? Sounds plausible to me.

Where Do We Go From Here

We are kind of in a jam now, wouldn't you say? We spend the last few years spewing that it should be up to the people to have a government for the people, by the people, a democratic government like we allegedly have here in America. Now, the people of Iraq and Palestine have spoken, and we don't like what they said.

The Palestinian vote pretty much ends the "roadmap to peace" that we invented for them and the Israeli's. Hamas has made it clear for a long time that they will not disarm, and will not give up the dream of controlling the land that they believe is rightfully their's. The Israeli's are certainly not going to bend by entering into talks with Hamas, so it looks like a stalemate. Or the beginnings of WW III, take your pick.

Boosh again stuck his nose where it doesn't belong, and the result is the "peace process" has taken several steps backward. Back to a time when Israel was dealing with suicide bombings on a nearly daily basis. We are soon to find out that Israel is not the friend that we thought they were, mark my words on that one. They, like the rest of the world, have bought the last "used car" that they will buy from us. We are out of friends and allies, pure and simple. We stand alone, but won't stand for long.

We do not want to spread democracy, we want to shove leaders down the throats of other countries, leaders that will help us fulfill the dreams of a madman. It is another smokescreen, just like our economy and our superpower strength. A fantasy. Like everything else Boosh touches, this "democracy project" appears to be failing as well. I can't wait to see where we decide to hold the next election.

Surprise; WE'RE BROKE

This promises to be a short post, but, hey, it's something.

Treasury Secretary John Snow to Congress

Treasury Secretary John Snow wrote a letter to Congress recently. It said a few things, mainly that unless the Fed artificially props up the "economy", we will reach the statutory debt limit by mid-February. Even if the Fed acts on its own, it can only keep the government running until mid-March. So, Snow is begging the Congress to increase the debt limit ASAP. Since the debt limit is already at a staggering 8.184 TRILLION DOLLARS, this simply proves what I have been telling you for a long time; we operate on phony dollars.

We have not had a government shutdown since the mid-90's, when President Clinton forced a government shutdown to prove a point to Republican's, who are more than happy to increase this debt limit into infinity. After all, the "economy's good." If you don't believe it, just ask Boosh.

Snow said in his letter to the Congress: " The full faith and credit of the United States was (is) a unique selling point on the markets.....A failure to increase the debt limit in a timely manner would threaten this unique and important position."

Really. Well, I've got some news for Mr. Snow, Boosh, and Congress. " The full faith and credit of the United States" is the problem, not the solution. The rest of the world isn't buying what we have to sell anymore. They know we are a paper tiger, with nothing to back our credit aside from our word, a word that has proven to no longer be worth the vocal cords it is spewed from. He's right about one thing, though. It is definately a "unique and important position." A position of weakness that has finally been exposed.

Never fear, the Republican's in charge of every branch of our government will come through and raise the debt ceiling, promising to get it under control "next time." Right. The reality is it will never again be under control, because we can't stop the machine that Boosh has started. The phony money machine.

As the rest of the world positions itself to move on without the "full faith and credit of the United States," we will continue to be left behind. Our economy is toast, and everyone seems to know it except us. It is soon to be over, so start preparing.

That is all I have in me today. I will slowly work my way back to full speed. And, thanks to the "Murph's" for sending me this little tidbit. My research has taken a forced haitus as I recover and try to breath again. Thanks to all for keeping the dialogue going in my absence. You guys are doing a great job in preparing for the uncertain future that we face.

Cyclone Involved in an Accident

I was involved in an accident at 5:00 AM on Tuesday. At a minimum, I have a broken nose, a knee that was banged hard on something, a bad back that has gotten worse, and a possible concussion with a bad headache. I was released from the emergency room Tuesday morning with little having been done, and am headed to my personal Doctor in about 10 minutes. Maybe later today some emails will be answered, and a condition update will be given. Other than that, don't expect any posts of substance until I figure out what all is going on. Thinking and staring at a computer is not a strong suit at the moment. I apologize, but have am confident that you guys and gals can keep the dialogue going until I can re-engage. I AM NOT IN GITMO, OR ANY OTHER GODFORESAKEN HELL HOLE. Sorry, and thanks for understanding.

Iran Has Us By The........

As I guess is obvious by now, I took a long weekend to officiate, watch a little football, and ignore the world. But, all good things must come to an end, so it's time to get back to business. Thanks for holding the fort down while I was away. The communities that I envision being needed in the not too distant future have begun right here, I think, in reading all the dialogue between you guys. Too bad we are all scattered around the world. Maybe we should meet up on some desolate island and live it out together, I think we would get along rather well. By the way, we have had a visitor from Saudi Arabia. The first from the Middle East since this blog was started. Whoever you are, I hope you come back. You are always welcome here. Now, to the business at hand.

Iran; Holds The Key to our Economic Crash and Maybe More

Iran has us by the shorthairs, and not surprisingly Boosh doesn't get it. Nor does Condi, Cheney, or any other minion that speaks for the imbecile. But hey, who would expect any different from a group that hasn't gotten one right since they were appointed King and His Court? If I were to perform with the same proficiency while officiating, I wouldn't last one quarter in a basketball game nor one half inning of a baseball game. It's all about judgement, you know, and Booshco is on a 5 year o'fer. I digress, sorry, I've got to get back in the swing of things.

The Iraq Problem

As we know, Iran is the 2nd largest oil producer in the world. This is more important today, when, you take into account the dismal failure of our little escapade into Iraq. In December, for the third month in a row, Iraq's oil production went down. Seems that they keep blowing up the damn pipeline and production facilities. One would think that out of the couple of billion per week that we spend over there, we would have considered putting some security around the oil fields and pipelines. We didn't put that in the budget. Did you hear me? When planning for this war, (if you call what we did planning) we did not budget for securing the oil pipelines or production facilities.

Late in 2003, some Booshco brain said "Oops, we forgot something." So, they then began training some Iraqi's to handle this little task. Even though the American public and Congress were told that the bulk of this war and joke of a reconstruction effort would be paid for out of Iraqi oil profits, we didn't really begin training someone to protect the oil fields until 2004. That proved to be a failure when we learned that the Iraqi's chosen to handle this security were taking money from us, the $40 million we later dumped into that pile, AND from the other side, the people who were angry that we were there to steal their oil. Our employees turned out to be Double Agents, so to speak.

So, we decided that $40 million was too high for something that wasn't working anyway, (too bad we haven't figured out that the $2 Billion per week isn't working either, and just come home) and dumped the job on the US Army. But, alas, they found themselves busy dodging IED's and suicide bombers and couldn't really handle the job too well either, so here we are in 2006 and the oil is still not pumping. Now, as I said, Iran has us by the shorthairs.

Invasion Won't Work: Sanctions Won't Work

As I've mentioned previously, we cannot invade Iran. We cannot even do targeted air strikes, effectively that is. First, we don't know where the targets are. Second, assuming we did, we would only piss off the Iranian people and create additional problems for our troops who have now become the Iranian's permanent next door neighbors. We think we've got terrorist problems now, piss off the Iranians and let them open their borders into Iraq to Iranian Jihadists, and a draft and deployment of every able bodied American to Iraq wouldn't result in victory. So, that strategy is out.

So, we threaten them with sanctions. This is pure Boosh insanity leaking out of the hole in his head, again for a couple of reasons. Hell, there might be more than a couple. We'll see what all pops out of Cyclone's head on this issue. First, China has veto power and wouldn't allow for UN sanctions. Isn't it interesting that we suddenly look to the UN for aid, when during the run up to the Iraq invasion we called them everything but a bunch of commies. Second, because we can't pump the necessary oil out of Iraq to prop up the world's oil supply, no country depending on Iranian oil would stand for it. Third, due to the unabated Boosh bungling, we no longer have the respect or the standing to be believable anymore. So, the rest of the world, (Tony Blair aside) won't support us on this one. Sure, they might say they do publicly until it comes time for real action, but you can rest assured that they will guarantee that there are enough votes to defeat any threat that we might issue before they vote with us. Fourth, (I knew I could come up with more than a couple rather easily) in case Boosh hasn't checked, the Iranian government has about $50 Billion in cash laying around. An emergency fund, you know, plus the key to the gate at the oil pump. They can outlive our economy by about 100 years.

And Iran knows this. All of it. They have threatened to turn off the oil spigot and we are already paying for it. Just by Iran's mere threat of doing so. The phony American Stock Exchange gets jittery, drops a couple of hundred points in a day, so the oil boys can make a little more money. They haven't quite bled us dry yet. When I say phony American Stock Exchange, I mean it. Everyone acknowledges that Iran is Years Away from being anywhere near the capability to make a nuclear weapon, or nuculer as Boosh likes to say, (did this guy really graduate from college?) and Boosh would like us to believe that a mushroom cloud could be over Omaha tomorrow morning. Pure fantasy, once again leading by fear. Yet, because of his idle threats, we began paying for his madness at the gas pump on Friday. And, we will further pay for it while heating our houses or apartments. Can't stop the bleeding yet, not quite done breaking the backs of Americans. And you know what? It will work. This debacle, along with the interesting timing of the new bin Laden tape, will guarantee that Boosh gets a boost in the polls. Those amazingly intelligent American people strike again.

What to Look For Now

I noticed during my long weekend that we began to hear grumblings about Israel maybe getting involved in this matter. I think I said this was likely to occur in my long rant in my previous post. When we had the moral authority to lead the world, we always held the Israeli's in check by guaranteeing their safety, to a degree. Sure, we can't stop the suicide bombings that they suffer pretty regularly, but we have protected them from major catastrophe. During the first Gulf War, as Saddam was lobbing Scuds in their direction, the Israeli's were foaming at the mouth to nuke the bastard. We prevented that from happening by guaranteeing that we would take care of the problem for them. And we did.

This time it's different. We can rant and rave, threaten sanctions and invasions and anything else that the Moron in Charge can come up with, and Iran doesn't care. They know that any threat that comes from America is an idle one. They can do what they want and there is nothing that we can do about it. So, we may finally cut the umbilical cord that we have always had on Israel. Turn them loose to exact the revenge on their neighbors, the revenge that they have always wanted to release.

There is a reason that we have always had that leash on Israel. Before, we could always make good on our offer to protect them. This time we can't. The reason for the leash? If Israel is cut loose on their part of the world, I'd say it's better than 50/50 we will see World War III. All the hatred that has been bottled up in the Middle East for the last 50 years will blow like an eruption that Mt. St. Helens could only dream of. And Booshco and the Neocons will be 100% responsible for it.

Yes, Iran has us by the shorthairs, and this time there is not a thing we can do about it.

It's good to be back,

Cyclone's View

em>1) The Neocons and the Plan

What exactly is a neocon? In the world according to Boosh, a neocon is one who thinks that democracy can be forced upon any country in the world, regardless of their history. This is obviously for the benefit of America, yet sold as a benefit for people of the particular country in which we are choosing to force our will upon. Boosh, the head neocon, believes that by forcing a democratic way of life on people, they will somehow “see the light.” After all of the destruction done during the democratization of the country, the world will be a better and safer place, and, the new democratic country and its people will somehow become better for it. For one to believe that, one must also believe that the families of those killed at the World Trade Center are better off for that experience.

A neocon is also generally considered a moralist. One definition of a moralist is: a person for whom moral conduct, morality and the correctness of moral thought are paramount.

This moralist issue presents a quandary for those who follow the Boosh doctrine of shoving democracy down the throats of others. How can one who has shown total disdain for the people he represents, has broken the law on a consistent basis and is morally bankrupt in its purest form, possibly be a moralist?

The neocon agenda is simple. Turn each country that either presents a threat or perceived threat in the mind of Boosh or his minions into a democracy. A democracy whose leaders we select, of course, so not really a democracy at all.

One of the major problems with the Boosh version of neoconservatism is that little part about the “perceived threat.” This man is capable of “perceiving” all sorts of things, nearly always disconnected from reality at its very core. I guess that it is simply a coincidence that each of the countries that Boosh chooses to “save from themselves,” happen to have a commodity that we desperately need, namely OIL. We aren’t worried about bringing democracy to Uganda, after all.

While Boosh would like you to believe that he is doing this to make the world a better and safer place, (he may in fact actually believe this himself, as hard as that is to imagine) he refuses to accept the fact that he simply does not have the right to take this action. It is not America’s job to tell others in the world how to live, although that is our stance today. One must take into account the history of a country, the real differences among the peoples of the country, and religious values. This is what creates such a problem in dealing with the Middle East in particular. Neither Boosh, nor I, nor any other American can pretend to know the intricacies of the Muslim world, and by attempting to force our will on them and their way of life, we have given them the right to resent our actions. We have given them the right to hate us. And they do. So, they attack this great military power the only way that they are able to, one terrorist attack at a time.

Boosh is famous for perpetrating a fraud, the fraud that says “they hate us because of our freedom and our values.” No, Boosh, I hate to break it to you. They do not hate us because of our values, quite frankly they could care less how we live, they simply wish to be left alone to live as they wish to. They do not want the brand of “freedom” that you offer. Get over it. To say anything else is being dishonest, so we begin with Lie # 1.

2) Boosh and the Puppet Masters

I believe that the puppet masters responsible for pulling the strings in this country have changed. Originally, Dick Cheney was the one responsible for telling Boosh what to do and say. I now think that probably about two years ago, Cheney was being reeled in and slowly relieved of this duty. As the Boosh machine spun wildly out of control, it became apparent that no one with any competence was in command of the ship. There were just too many things going wrong.

The war in Iraq was turning into a disaster, the economy was becoming troubling, the faith of the American people was wavering little by little, Social Security reform was dead, health care was becoming another disaster, in essence, the natives were becoming restless. Then, with Katrina, came the final straw. While the rest of the world watched, our federal government response showed just how totally incompetent our leaders were. Boosh was on vacation, the people whom he appointed to handle emergency response proved incapable, and as people died on rooftops in New Orleans, it was beamed, via satellite, all over the world.

Coinciding with Katrina various scandals were brewing. We will deal with those later, but I believe that Katrina was the impetus for a change in puppet masters. The elite stepped in, let themselves be heard and said that enough was enough. They would begin calling most of the shots.

3) 9/11 and the War on Terror

Boosh caught a big break with 9/11. With this event occurring so quickly after he was appointed President after the 2000 election, he essentially received a free pass for almost the entire first term of his presidency. Were it not for that, we would have seen just how incompetent he really was much sooner. Many believe that our government was a party to, if not the instigator of, the 9/11 tragedy. I don’t know whether or not this is true, I tend to think not. I doubt that we will ever actually know exactly how complicit our government was in this event, at least not while I or most of you are alive, anyway. They did not do much to dispel rumors, however. While all planes in the United States were allegedly grounded, we managed to whisk numerous members of the bin Laden family away to the safety of Saudi Arabia, where the majority of the terrorists originated from. Boosh also fought long and hard to prevent the 9/11 commission from ever coming together, despite the obvious need for a review and the pleading of the families of the victims. Boosh eventually gave in, and we received a glossed over view of what happened on that unforgettable day. There will undoubtedly be other reviews, as there should be. But I shall not attempt to solve that one.

This led to the “War on Terror.” Whatever the hell that is. Believe me, I have spent a lot of time trying to define this, and I simply can’t do it. It is too abstract, too much like the “War on Drugs.” I don’t think that anyone can define either one. Not to my satisfaction, at least. But the “war on terror” has turned out to be an all encompassing war on anything that Boosh decides it will be. No matter what goes wrong in America, Boosh can always fall back on, “I am a war time president and I must protect the American people, it is my duty above all else.” So what has this war brought us?

First, over 2200 dead soldiers and some 15,000 seriously wounded. Countless Iraqi and Afghanistan citizens are dead. Billions of dollars have been spent, dollars that we did not have to spare. Perhaps the most damaging of all is that it has given Boosh the feeling that he is invincible, and has given him a blank check to work with. It has given him POWER, either real or imagined.

Now, no member of Congress dares to try to rein in the spending for fear of looking as if they don’t support the troops. It has given the average American citizen the feeling that if they say anything negative about Boosh or the war, they are being unpatriotic. Some of us ignore these unwritten restraints, others, especially those of generations before us; buy it hook, line and sinker. They buy it honestly, as they remember WWII and the times that it truly meant something to say that you were fighting for freedom and for your country. This patriotism is buried deeply inside their souls, and they cannot be faulted for that. However, they are wrong.

They are wrong because Iraq under Saddam was no threat to us, nor was Afghanistan under the Taliban. If you believe that the 9/11 event was exactly what the Boosh administration wants us to believe it was, these countries were still not a threat to us. Terrorist organizations exist, they have always existed, and they will always exist. There is always the chance that a group of terrorists will do something harmful to our nation and our citizens. This is a dangerous world. It is in fact becoming more dangerous with each passing moment. But, these problems cannot be solved with military force. If they could, the Israeli/Palestinian conflict would have been over 50 years ago. Israel would have blown the Palestinians off the face of the earth.

Until now, that was a problem that existed “over there.” After 9/11, rather than do the prudent thing, going after those responsible, Boosh decided to enter into the fray of the war that cannot be won. We are now in a religious war, against people we do not and cannot understand. And, he took it a step further than necessary. He decided to throw Iraq into the mix, though even the most right wing Nazi in America cannot deny that Iraq and Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. Saddam didn’t like Osama bin Laden, they were in fact enemies, an often reported fact. Maybe that’s when God told Boosh what to do, I don’t know. But, it certainly was the birthing of the neocon agenda. Would we be where we are today had 9/11 not have occurred? I don’t know, but I do know that there would have been a bunch more hoops to jump through to get there. Let’s move on, my blood pressure is beginning to rise.

4) Republicans vs. Democrats

Many of you have made comments over the last few months that neither of these parties truly represent any of us. Corporations now determine how our elections are won or lost. We need a third party to get someone to represent us, the people. We need to get the money out of politics for the game to work as it was meant to work, among other excellent comments.

In essence, I agree. I spend some time (although not near as much as I used to) visiting “progressive” sites with people who have views similar to mine. I hear the same things, have heard them to the point that I don’t even want to hear them any more. The reality is this.

There is not a dime’s worth of difference in the Republican’s and the Democrat’s, and that dime doesn’t matter anymore. It mattered in 2000, and it mattered in 2004, it might matter in ‘06. Boosh has accomplished his main goal, the goal of stacking the Supreme Court, which was really the reason that the 2000 and 2004 elections were so important. Both parties are corrupt, feed from the same trough, and it is national suicide to allow the Republicans to control all three houses of government. (that dime’s worth again) I am going to later say something that will contradict what I am going to say here, but realize that I am doing it knowingly and am coming at it from different angles. It is just not important enough to go into great detail about. If we are to survive, the ’06 elections are very important. While the ideal situation would be for every incumbent to be defeated, that will not happen. So, vote for every Democrat on the ticket, the lesser of two evils. It is absolutely imperative that the Republicans lose control of the House of Representatives. If not, it’s over. Pure and simple. ’08 won’t matter in the least should the Republican stranglehold continue until then.

5) Elections

Now I will contradict what I just wrote, sort of. True, fair, representative elections in this country are over. 1996 was the last legitimate election in this country, and we’ll likely never have another one. At the presidential level, anyway. After the “hanging chads” of 2000, for the citizens of this nation to stand by and allow machines without a paper trail to decide any election in this country, is simply mind boggling. Between this and gerrymandering, your vote no longer counts. The system is rigged, and with the new additions to the Supreme Court it is guaranteed to stay rigged for as long as I am alive. I doubt that I will ever vote in a Presidential election again, even on the off chance that I am given the opportunity. It is an exercise in futility. There is something that could be done about this, but we’ll talk about it later.

6) Plamegate

Patrick Fitzgerald has been a godsend, albeit too late to matter, and he’s not done. Karl Rove will be indicted. Whoever revealed the name of Valerie Plame to whichever reporter who received it first should be locked up and the key should be thrown away. I hear the right, and even some progressive’s, say that she was not covert at the time of her “outing,” therefore no harm was done. Bullshit. Harm was done on several fronts. One, the law was broken. Granted, that doesn’t seem to be a deterrent to Booshco, but it is still a fact. Secondly, the lives of every person who she came in contact with while she was covert are in danger. Just because she was sitting behind a desk in Virginia, doesn’t mean that a foreign agent doesn’t remember seeing her at lunch with a cohort while she was still a covert operative. That cohort is in danger, now that her face has been plastered on the news all over the world.

This has turned out to be probably the biggest disappoint to me of anything that I have ever written about. I honestly believed that the outing of a CIA agent would ruffle the feathers of leaders of both parties; instead it was covered up like a half eaten sandwich being saved for an afternoon snack. As it turns out, this is probably the least egregious act that Booshco has committed. Naïve me. I only hope that Fitzgerald keeps going and that Rove and the like get what they deserve, a little jail time with Bubba. And Cheney should join them.

7) The NSA and Wiretapping

I can only hope that this does not end in the same way that the Plame affair will end, but I fear that it will. The Democrats do not have the numbers to make this a big deal, and when push comes to shove, the brave Republicans, those now talking tough, will fold their tent and let it go. Gotta get re-elected you know. We have a President of the United States who knowingly broke the law, consistently over a 5 year period, admits it, says he will continue to do it, and in the end that’s going to be just fine and dandy. We impeach President Clinton over lying about a blowjob, but this clown can listen to my phone calls and read my email and that’s okay. Oh how I yearn for the 60’s when people would get off of their lazy butts and demand something from their government. Oh, I forgot. That is when it was our government. We should have a minimum of 50 million Americans sitting in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue, refusing to move, until this cabal is removed from office. What do we get instead? Half the population doesn’t even think it’s wrong. It’s for our security, after all, during the “war on terror.”

For our security in the “war on terror.” If it weren’t so serious, I would probably be laughing right now. I felt pretty secure before 9/11, and guess what. I felt pretty secure after 9/11. I felt pretty secure before we invaded Iraq, and I don’t feel any more secure today. I felt pretty secure before the NSA began monitoring phone calls and emails, and I feel less secure today. I feel less secure because I see the erosion of my civil rights and liberties on an almost daily basis. I feel less secure because we have a madman running this country and the world hates us more and more each day. I feel less secure because the security that we have put in place has not bothered to address the Mexican border. Anyone can enter this country, as long as they are willing to work for very little money and no health insurance. We’ll even tell them its okay, if Boosh should get his way. Hell, we’ll even subsidize your move for you, so long as you are willing to pick a little fruit while you are here. Oh, and a terrorist or two might pretend to be a fruit picker. But, that’s the price you pay to be in an open society, right Boosh? Are you worried about security or are you worried that you might miss out on watermelon? For our security in the “war on terror.” It is a fraud, and half the American people are willing to buy it.

8) Jack Abramoff and the Fools on the Hill

This should turn out to be the mother of all scandals, although, with one party controlling all branches of government, it will be hidden by a smokescreen. At a time when Democrats should be throwing a party, preparing a strategy to take back control of the House and Senate over this mess, you hear little other than a few comments from some “outraged” politicians. Why? Because, many Democrats are not willing to allow this smokescreen to be lifted; they are caught up in the fraud and corruption as well. In reality, it doesn’t really matter. Twenty years ago, maybe even ten, it might have made a real impact and served notice to our politicians to straighten up. Not anymore. Now, it is too little, too late, and will serve mainly as entertainment of the crudest kind. We will get the opportunity to watch worms from both sides of the aisle scurry for darkness, trying to outrun the freight train that is Jack Abramoff. Some will run out of gas right in the middle of the tracks. For the rest, it will be business as usual. Cover your tracks and chase the money.

9) The Under Education of Americans

Americans have become a lazy, mostly ignorant lot. They pay little to no attention to what goes on outside the little box that life places them in. Or, I should say, the box that they choose to jump into. We, as a people, have allowed Booshco and those before them to rape, pillage and plunder our pocketbooks, our constitutional rights and our minds. It is the number one reason why we are where we find ourselves today. People stopped paying attention to what was going on outside their own box a long time ago.

10) Peak Oil

Peak oil has either already occurred, or will sometime in the near future. I have not spent a lot of time talking about this; to the dismay of some, because I believe that other issues will take us down long before Peak Oil comes into play. Regardless of what you may read or hear, Peak Oil is real and will at some point end life as we know it on Planet Earth. We have no choice but to start making plans for when we run out of oil. Our entire financial structure in this country, indeed our very way of life currently depends upon the availability of oil. Not merely oil, but cheap oil. Unfortunately, due to the upcoming crisis that I see just over the horizon, talking about Peak Oil is going to have to wait. For me at least. There are people that devote their entire lives to dealing with this issue, and for now I’ll leave it to them. I am going to deal with what faces us immediately,

11) It’s the Economy, Stupid

The American economy is about to explode, implode, disintegrate, whatever you choose to call it. I’ll pick end as the word to be used. How, in 5 years, we have gone from a nation with a surplus to a nation that is, as of today at 1:39 PM GMT, $8,186,167,175,601.88 in debt, with an official population of 298,291,761, amounting to $27,443.59 per every living man, woman and child in this country, and currently increases at the rate of $2.28 BILLION PER DAY, is beyond my comprehension. And this is from a Republican controlled, self espoused, smaller government cabal. If the Republicans are correct, imagine what the numbers would be if we were in the hands of the “tax and spend liberals.” Quite the opposite, we have become the “don’t tax but still spend” America. And that cannot continue. I have said before and I’ll say it again, we are no longer in charge of what happens to us. China and Japan have more control over our economy than we do. We have destroyed our economy, regardless of what “good news” is reported out of Washington every day. For this, we will pay, and pay dearly.

12) Conclusion; The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The good, bad and ugly are all intertwined and I am not going to attempt to separate them out. What I will do is tell you what I see happening within the next year or so, likely beginning shortly after the ’06 elections. Keep in mind that this is simply one man’s view. I would not expect any of you to believe all of what I have to say, most of what I have to say, or even any of what I have to say. It’s up to you. But please consider it. I will tell you that I base these things on what I have learned over my almost 50 years on this earth, what I have learned about different issues about a variety of topics from people who are a whole lot smarter than me, what I have learned through contacts that I have made over those nearly 50 years, and on what my gut tells me. Generally speaking, I trust my gut more than any of the other above mentioned sources. Over my life, my gut instincts have proven right 100 times more often than not, so I give it the most weight. Here we go.

America as we have always known it is over, through, finito. We are no longer a superpower, though we continue to tell ourselves and the rest of the world that we are. The rest of the world has stopped listening, and I suggest, beginning this very moment, that “we, the people” stop listening as well. We have been conned, and it has worked. Our shell game has worked for over 200 years. But, as all empires before us have learned and likely all those after us will learn, the game always ends. When this game ends, we are going to lose. The winner will be the same one that always wins in the end, the team of greed and corruption. We have defeated ourselves, essentially by eating our own.

This is due to a combination of problems of which greed and corruption are at the top. But there is so much more. We have lost our moral standing in the world, a standing that has too long been on shaky ground. Our moral compass has lost its way. Our society has forgotten the one thing that is most important in any society, its people. For a society this large to succeed, it must not forget the least among that society, and we have done that. We have ignored that which has always been right before our eyes, our homeless, our mentally ill, and our citizens with less brain power than most, simply ignored those whom are least equipped to survive in a country that is driven by one outdoing the other. We have an obligation to those, just as we do our children, and we chose to ignore them. Our sheer arrogance is in the end our downfall. I don’t know of another word for it.

The first signs of a failing government become obvious when things are done in secret. Booshco takes home the grand prize in the “secret society” contest. For those of you who remember Watergate, you’ll remember that as the end neared for Nixon, the entire government was shrouded in secrecy. Were it not for the infamous “Watergate Tapes” we likely would never have known what really happened then. Again, sheer arrogance led a man to knowingly break the law and tape his own conversations for the world to eventually hear. Booshco has taken this a step further, we don’t need tapes. Boosh simply comes on television and states that he is breaking the law, says he has no intention of stopping it, so “what are you going to do about it?” It no longer matters; it’s too late for anything that we as citizens, or for that matter, those in power, can do to stop this freight train from derailing. It has in fact already derailed, most just haven’t realized it yet.

The American people are as complicit in this as Boosh or anyone else currently in a position of power, or anyone who was previously in power. We as citizens have had it too good for too long, in essence become spoiled, rotten brats. We have closed our eyes and minds to what is important in life and in the world; we have willingly turned the job of protecting us and our nation over to others. Those whom we have given this charge have failed us, but we have no one to blame but ourselves. We have bought in to the very thing that most of us believe to be evil, the corporate empires. We have allowed them to market to us new houses, new cars, new television sets, new fill in the blank, all bigger and better than the ones we were replacing. We have become a theocorpratocracy, all in an effort to get more, more, more, now, now, now. And we’ve done it on credit. We chased the dream on money that we didn’t have, and were never going to have. Sure, we were taught by the best, our own government. They were the pros at spending money that wasn’t there. We knew better, but bought the plan anyway. And make no mistake about it, it was a plan. A plan handed to us by the neocons and the elite, a plan made to take over the world so that they could mold it as they saw fit. We stopped paying attention a long time ago, and when that happened, we doomed ourselves to failure.

What will Happen

Our economy is going to crash and crash hard. It will also crash without warning. Only those that are financial geniuses will be able to guess when it will happen, and they will likely have no more than 48 hours notice. There will be no announcement; it will be based on their gut instincts, based on what they have learned while toiling in financial markets for their entire lives. Only the elite of the elite brains among that small group will get it right, and may come out of it left with something. The others in the financial world will be left behind.

As for those of us outside those circles, the changes will be swift and stunning. And those who do not begin preparing for the inevitable right now, today, will be left behind as well. We will see things that no one could have imagined possible. My bet is that approximately one-third of the population will cease to exist soon after the crash. Maybe more. There will be mass chaos, people storming banks demanding money that they will find was never there to begin with, and the doors will be locked. The few who do find money will soon learn that there is no where to spend it. It will be worth nothing.

Why will the population reduction occur? Simply because, only the strongest will survive. The ones that plan ahead have a chance. The ones that don’t will not make it, but for the grace of God. The criminal element among us will thrive for a short while, but not for long. The people who have prepared for this event will slowly but surely take care of the thugs, once they manage to roam in the wrong places. Masses of people who have lost everything will commit suicide; they will not be willing to, nor be capable of starting over. It will be ugly, every man and woman for themselves and their families, if they don’t plan ahead.

Our government, for all practical purposes, will cease to function. They will at first attempt to regulate behavior by calling in troops, but in the end it will not matter. For one thing, there are nearly 300,000,000 citizens. Short of a nuclear bomb, no one can control that many people. The troops will soon find that it is an exercise in futility, and regardless of what the Commander in Chief orders, they will not turn their weapons on their fellow citizens. They will for the most part switch teams. The CIA will have nothing to do with any of it, they don’t have much of a liking for this administration. So, we are left with the local and state police and the FBI. They will make an initial stand, then think better of it and give it up. They will not be able to sieze control. How long the chaos will go on depends largely upon how much preparation those willing to admit the possibility of such a scenario choose to invest.

So how does one prepare for an event such as this? I can only tell you what I will do. I will form or join a small group that has the capability to quickly become self sufficient. A group that is able to provide food, shelter, and security for myself and my family. I will get away from any large city and head for a small, rural environment. I see a large city as the last place that I would want to be, for several reasons. First, the criminal element is naturally larger in such a setting, and they are likely going to come after whatever you have, especially if you have made preparations. It may well be your neighbor. I doubt that many will survive such a place, regardless of the conditions. Second, the more people, the more chaos and hysteria there will be. Waiting and attempting to form a small, self sufficient group after the fact will not work, you will find yourself isolated and on your own. In a survival situation, that is not a good position to put yourself in. And that is what we will be doing, simply trying to survive until the dust settles.

Small communities similar to what I described are going to be popping up all over the nation. I would not want to be in the position of attempting to join one after the fact, as trust will be a highly important commodity. So, I will prepare early. I will have a place to go and a group to join, or will have formed a group in the very near term, before anything goes down.

Communications systems that we currently take for granted, such as the internet, cell phones, and land lines will likely disappear quickly. People will have to make arrangements for some form of communication and transportation to wherever they may head, well in advance of an economic crash.

When will this crash occur? No one can say for sure, but I would bet that we are safe at least until the ’06 elections are over. The Fed and the Treasury will continue to prop up the current phony economy at least until then. I would not feel safe at any time after the election occurs. It could go Kaboom at anytime, overnight, after that date. I will admit that I have a slight advantage. I have access to one of those people that I mentioned above, one of the financial geniuses. One that hopefully will get it right, or I’ll be in trouble. That means that I will have 24-48 hours advance notice before the bottom drops out, should he be correct.

After looking at the future from every conceivable angle, this is the conclusion that I have come to. I think that a crash of our economy is inevitable, and it will likely have repercussions worldwide. Other countries’ economies will certainly soon follow ours.

I noticed that some of you have begun a dialogue in the comments section of the Real Deal about the future. I hope that this will continue as we will somehow have to pick up the pieces and start over. Should this not come to pass, and I sincerely hope that it doesn’t, it ABSOLUTELY WILL be the case when the oil runs dry. So, if you are young enough to live that long, any preparations that you make now will only put you ahead of the game.

A Letter from a Member of Congress

efsaturn was kind enough to allow me to post this letter from a member of Congress that was received in response to an impeachment inquiry. I thought that it would be interesting to see what he had to say, while waiting for my never ending post to finish itself. Thanks, efsaturn.

Dear Ms (removed):

Thank you for contacting me about the job performance of President George W. Bush in regards to his authorization of a National Security Agency (NSA) secret domestic spying program on persons within the United States. I appreciate hearing from you.

First, I am equally outraged by the Bush Administration implementing this program possibly without the proper consent from Congress and also in possible violation of American citizens' right to privacy. I support a thorough, bipartisan investigation of this alarming policy. One way or another, we must get to the bottom of this situation and insist the president follows the law.

My foremost concern is that this policy appears to be in violation of existing law. We simply cannot allow the executive branch of our government, unchecked, to be the sole arbiter of the limits of its own power. We all deserve a president who follows the law, not a king who disobeys it. While I support efforts of the U.S. government in fighting terrorism, and acknowledge our involvement in a number of foreign conflicts, such as Iraq and Afghanistan, we cannot succumb to actions that infringe upon the constitutional rights of American citizens.

As Ben Franklin said, "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

With the current makeup of Congress, it is obvious impeachment would not pass, so we should also consider the real impact of filing articles. It may come to that as our only option, but I think it important for us to demonstrate responsibility in the use of that constitutional process. To that end, I believe we must have comprehensive, probing hearings and then make the determination whether that is the right response. Our actions will win greater acceptance by the American people if we follow that route.

I support a full congressional investigation of this matter, as suggested by many members of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees. You will be pleased to know that I joined many of my colleagues in sending a letter to President Bush expressing our position that the administration's policy has violated the U.S. Constitution and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), and was not authorized when Congress voted to support the September 18, 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force. Our letter requests that the president release documents to Congress regarding the nature of this secret program. We need access to the legal opinions the administration used pertaining to the lawfulness of the surveillance program; the specific orders authorizing and reauthorizing this program; the number of U.S. persons that this surveillance was authorized for use on; the number of U.S. persons whose communications were intercepted; the total number of intercepted communications since the start of this surveillance program; the records of any member of the press whose communications have been intercepted; information about how the information intercepted has been stored and shared with other government agencies, and whether this information will be destroyed.

In addition, I have cosponsored H.RES.643, a resolution of inquiry which directs the Attorney General to submit to the House of Representatives all documents in his possession relating to warrantless electronic surveillance of telephone conversations and electronic communications of persons in the U.S. conducted by the National Security Agency. This type of resolution is unique because it is required that the full committee review a vote within 14 legislative days. If the committee fails to act within this time period, the bill can be brought before the entire House for a vote. This is one of the only legislative procedures available to Congress to get information from the executive branch.

I also joined my colleagues in sending to the Acting Inspector General at the Department of Defense, the Inspector General at the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Comptroller General calling for immediate investigations of reports that the Attorney General authorized the NSA to conduct the warrantless domestic spying program of persons inside the U.S. We cite a specific violation of Section 1802(a) of FISA, which permits the surveillance of communications without a court order only if the Attorney General can certify that either the communications are solely between foreign powers, or there is no substantial likelihood that the surveillance will acquire the contents of any communications to which a U.S. person is a party. We find that the NSA has violated these prohibitions on at least 500 individuals within the U.S.

In response to our letter, the Inspector General wrote that the issue falls outside the jurisdiction of the Attorney General, and that the matter would fall instead under the jurisdiction of the DOJ's Office of Professional Responsibility. However, he is wrong and and we have told him so, demanding an investigation.

We have been down this road before, FISA was passed by Congress in 1978 in response to the Nixon Administration's policy of conducting surveillance on citizens participating in political groups, or suspected of having certain political persuasions. FISA prescribes procedures for requesting judicial authorization for electronic surveillance and physical search of persons engaged in espionage or international terrorism against the United States on behalf of a foreign power. This law helped create a framework for the use of electronic surveillance and other investigative methods to acquire foreign intelligence information, and requires a showing of probable cause to believe that the target is a foreign power or an agent of a foreign power before searches and surveillance can be conducted.

One of the provisions of FISA requires the Office of the Attorney General to submit an annual report to Congress disclosing information about applications made to the FISA Court, and the number of applications approved and modified by the Court. In both 2002 and 2004, the Court approved all applications submitted. In 2003, of the 1,727 applications made, all but three were approved. I have many questions as to why the Bush Administration chose to bypass the process set up by FISA, since past administrations have not encountered difficulty obtaining FISA warrants, and such warrants can be obtained up to 72 hours after the surveillance is collected.

Furthermore, I do not find the September 18, 2001 authorization for use of military force passed by Congress to include any sort of authorization for warrantless domestic spying. You may be interested to know that in a recent review by the Congressional Research Service (CRS) of the Bush Administration's claims that its warrantless activities were sanctioned by this authorization for military force, CRS found that it is doubtful that the president can claim that the authorization passed by Congress grants him the broad powers that he has claimed exist. This report defers to FISA, being the latest congressional legislation addressing domestic surveillance.

I believe that Congress can protect our national security interests, while at the same time protecting civil liberties. You can count on me to continue fighting to protect the constitutional rights of my constituents and my fellow Americans.

Please continue to contact me about the issues that concern you, as I both need and welcome your thoughts and ideas. As a service to my constituents, I maintain a website which contains valuable resources and information on Congressional activities. Please feel free to visit the website at http://www.house.gov/inslee for information on recent issues and to learn more about the services my office provides.

I encourage you to contact me via email, telephone, or fax, because security measures are causing House offices to experience delays in receiving postal mail. My email address is: Jay.Inslee@mail.house.gov. Please be sure to include your full name and address, including your zip code, in your message.

Very truly yours,

A Compromise

After reading all of the email that I received along with the comments, I am going to make a compromise. Every one of you raised good points about what to do with those whom I spoke about, so I have made an executive decision. I am going to remove last nights post, so as not to inflame the right. Unfortunately, your comments will go with them. But, I am not going to censor future comments, unless it gets out of hand. Hopefully they will stay hidden. After reading it again this morning, I perhaps invited too much. While it is a lot of work to have to approve comments, plus they don't get posted in a timely fashion, I will do so if it becomes necessary. So, bye bye post. Be patient, the truth as I see it is coming. Fair enough?

Gore and Barr; A Strange but Dynamic Duo

While Bob Barr, a former Republican Representative from Georgia, was on my television set night after night for what seemed like 100 years, I found him to be one of the least likeable creatures in a group of world class unlikables, the US Congress. Especially during the Clinton impeachment hearings, when his mug was in front of me nearly every time I turned on the television set, spewing on and on about how Clinton broke the law and should be removed from office. Now, he’s seen standing side by side with Al Gore, while Gore delivers a magnificent speech to the Liberty Foundation, demanding essentially the same thing regarding Boosh. And Barr is standing with him. So, has the world turned upside down? Did I misread Bob Barr? Question one, the answer is yes. Question two, the answer is probably yes and no.

The world has turned upside down when, without much opposition, the President of the Untited States breaks the law, announces it to the world, and states that he has no intention of discontinuing this activity. In fact, just the opposite. He calls for the launch of an investigation to find out just what un-American type leaked this news to the press and the world. Says revealing that he is a criminal is a danger to this country. It never crosses his twisted mind that the real danger to this country is in having a President who thumbs his nose at the law, the American citizens, and the entire world. In the world of George Boosh, we should be happy that he simply allows us to share in the use of “his” air.

As for Bob Barr, I don’t know if it was the pathetic little mustache he wore, or the nauseating and smug sound of his voice, or that he truly believed that Bill Clinton should be removed from office for a sexual encounter with an intern and then lying about it. There was just something slimy about him. I couldn’t help but believe that Barr should have been a character on the Hogan’s Heroes television show, on the side of the Nazi’s, of course, rather than an elected member of our government. With his recent pairing with Gore to blast Boosh, I think that maybe Barr was actually trying to take the Constitution seriously. It was hard, during the Clinton impeachment proceedings, to not see Barr as merely a partisan hack, one who seemed to be taking it way over the top. I believe that were the punishment left up to him, Clinton would have been drawn and quartered. But now he appears to be taking the same stance in regards to Boosh. What am I to think? Befuddling, to say the least. Now, to the speech.

Gore called for a special counsel to be appointed. He mentioned Patrick Fitzgerald on more than one occasion, though I doubt that Fitzgerald would be the man chosen should we be lucky enough to get special counsel appointed. Special counsel is a real longshot, that person being Fitzgerald an impossibility. If Boosco has learned nothing else, they have learned that Fitzgerald is not the person they want breathing down their necks. Instead, we will likely be stuck with the Specter charade. Although I admire Specter for his stance, nothing will come from any hearings that are held in secret by members of Congress. It will all be glossed over, some hands will be slapped, and it will go away. There is a better chance that the ACLU lawsuit that is to be filed today will accomplish something positive than any photo-op Senate hearings.

The most poignant thing that Gore said, in my view, is the following.

“At present, we still have much to learn about the NSA’s domestic surveillance. What we do know about this pervasive wiretapping virtually compels the conclusion that the President of the United States has been breaking the law repeatedly and persistently.

Can it be true that any president really has such powers under our Constitution? If the answer is “yes” then under the theory by which these acts are committed, are there any acts that can on their face be prohibited? If the President has the inherent authority to eavesdrop, imprison citizens on his own declaration, kidnap and torture, then what can’t he do?”

Indeed, what can't he do? In the mind of Boosh, there is nothing that he can't do. Simply frame it in the context of the phony "war on terror" and it's all systems go. After all, he's doing it all for us.

Boosh clearly broke the law, and has stated that he will continue to do so. I believe that, in the end, no matter what one’s political persuasion, the American people will not stand for this. Maybe I’m giving too much credit to the American people. Generally, I lean the other way, not giving them enough credit. In this instance, what we need is someone from the Democratic party to spell this out to the American people on the same terms that Gore did, the terms of the law, and stick with it. Suck up your guts, take what Al Gore said, and run with it. Run as far as you can, screaming as loudly as humanly possible, until someone shuts you up. Or someone hears you. Someone like the American people.

I am going to go out on a limb here. A skinny limb at that. I believe, that after Gore’s words yesterday, the stars are beginning to align. And, should we somehow survive until the ’08 elections, a longshot I admit, I believe that Al Gore’s hat will be in the ring. And, I think he will win the Democratic nomination, should he run. He has spent the last 5 years thinking, defining himself for himself, and has learned a lot about politics. He was robbed the first time, we are now bearing the fruits of that robbery. I don’t think that the American people have forgotten that, and I think he deserves a chance to clean up the mess left by the worst administration in the history of our Republic. President Gore. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

Medicare; Another Boosh Fiasco

From Iraq to Social to Security to Katrina to Abramoff, and everything in between, we now have the Disaster of Medicare. This is no surprise, we all knew it was coming. If Booshco created it, it's going to be screwed up, and we've learned to live with that fact. I have talked to insurance representatives, pharmacists, and people trying to enroll or participate in this "great new program." Without exception, they have all told me the same things. It is too complicated for the average Rhodes Scholar to figure out. It has become such a fiasco that many states have declared public health emergencies, and Boosh has told insurers that they must provide a 30 day supply of medication of any drug that a "beneficiary" was previously taking, and that they may not charge more than $5 for each prescription.

Why is this important? Well, for one, it's important to the people who need the medication. Secondly, it shows just what a disaster this program is. When does a pattern of incompetence become too much? With Booshco, apparently never.

Some folks that signed up for this plan in November and December and attempted to use it after it "went live" on Jan. 1, have been told that they must first satisfy a deductible that ranges from $100-$250. Money that these folks don't have. So, they have not received their medications. Others have been told that they were not enrolled in the program at all, showing that the federal government, the group that heads this mess, has no clue who is actually enrolled and who isn't. Pharmacists have been calling insurance companies who have no answers, insurance companies have been calling the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, who in Booshlike fashion have been telling them that "all is well," and the Boosh administration is saying that they are rushing to provide insurers with correct information about the subsidies available to low-income people enrolled in their plans. Rushing? Did we just create this program in late December?

No, we didn't. A State Farm Agent that I know quite well has told me that he has been studying this program for months, and still doesn't understand half of it. And, he's a pretty bright guy. Imagine the average low income "pill seeker" who was forced to choose between one of god knows how many programs that are available, those who simply need the medications that they have been taking for years. Forced to choose, yet not having been provided the information necessary to make an informed decision. They chose anyway, and most are leaving the pharmacy empty handed, and totally in the dark about what to do about the problem. Pharmacists don't understand this program, insurance providers don't understand it, patients don't understand it and I doubt that the geniuses that created it understand it.

Republican governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota said, "The new federal program is too complicated for many people to understand, and the implementation of the new program by the federal government has been awful." Yes, a Republican said this. Said it as he was signing an emergency order that makes his bankrupt state provide payment of out of pocket expenses for drugs for people without the money to pay. Other states are rapidly following suit, realizing that if they don't step in they will have a bunch of dead citizens on their hands, dead because they could not get the drugs that they have always gotten to stay alive. While the feds try to figure out how to fix yet another failure, the states, most of whom are operating deeply in the Red, are ordered by Boosh to pick up the slack. Katrina bells ringing anyone?

I realize that this is an unusual subject for Cyclone land, but I think it's important for a couple of reasons. First, nearly all of us have a relative or someone close to us that depends on these programs to stay healthy, even stay alive in some instances, or may need them ourselves. So, one way or another, it affects us all. Secondly, the fact that Boosh has botched another massive program that he promised would be a good deal to the American people is important. He has screwed up EVERYTHING that he has touched, clearly throughout his entire public life, and most things in his private life. Here is just another shining example of moronic policy.

Since the federal government can't seem to get a list together of people who have signed up for their new program, maybe they should devote a little more time and a lot more resources into doing so. Maybe putting less time and effort into reading the email of American citizens, less time listening to their phone converstations and spending less time tracking the American citizens every move on the internet, would allow for the poor to obtain medications that are desparately needed. Just a thought.

Iran; Will We or Won't We?

Many readers have asked questions and expressed concern over what may or may not happen in regards to handling what is becoming an international crisis, the choice by Iran to restart a nuclear program. Here is my take on this situation.

Condi Rice

Condi has made a lot of noise over this issue, threatening the Iranian government with sanctions, stating that a “strong message had to be sent to Iran.” Here we go again, blowing smoke but having no fire to back it up with. (much like our economy, actually) Whether Condi and the Boosh administration know it or not, they do not have the power to call for sanctions. There is no FISA Court end run in the playbook for this one. They can “suggest” sanctions, but they must get several other countries to agree to this before it can be sent to the UN Security Council. This time, thank God, the other countries aren’t biting.

Boosh and the Rest of the World

“Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on, well, you shouldn’t fool me twice.” As Boosh so eloquently stated a couple of years ago, it seems to be the same message that Condi is getting back from other nations regarding sanctions. What goes around comes around, perhaps? Or, as Boosh would likely put it, "What comes around goes, well, you shouldn't come around me twice." Looks like everyone else understands this one, and they aren't coming around again.

First, we have used up the goodwill of the world community. After telling so many lies to get the world behind the invasion of Iraq, the world is a bit more wary of following us down any specific path regarding Iran. In other words, this time there is no coalition. Not that you could call the forces that invaded Iraq a coalition, mind you, but Boosh has always called it that so I’ll play along. (In a previous post I mentioned the numbers of the current “coalition partners” and the numbers of troops they sent, so I won’t do it again. I'll just say, it was not impressive) France, Britain and Germany have stated that calling for sanctions against Iran is premature.

Secondly, Russia remains in talks with Iran to try to get them to comply with UN policies regarding the enrichment of uranium. They have repeatedly asked Iran for a moratorium on its activities, but Iran has thus far refused to follow this advice. However, Russia is riding the fence on this one. If it got far enough along for a vote on sanctions, Russia has stated that they would abstain, rather than voting against referring Iran to the Security Council. This is nothing more than posturing and pandering to the US. If it came down to it and they were the last country able to block sanctions against Iraq, you can rest assured that they would do so.

Next, China gets large amounts of oil from Iran. Plus, China is doing its best to finish the US as a superpower by threatening the American economy, and would absolutely block any attempt at sanctioning Iran for anything. The only way that a sanction could have any negative effect on Iran would have to include limiting their ability to export oil, and that is just not going to happen. Even if China was not openly seeking to ensure the downfall of the US, they would not support sanctions. China simply needs Iran's oil.

Britain, the US lapdog in the Iraq war, is beginning to listen to its citizens and is no longer willing to be led into another debacle like they found themselves in after following us to Baghdad. Tony Blair will be gone the first time the voters have anything to say about it, and those lining up to replace him are distancing themselves from anything Booshco as fast as they possibly can. Who could blame them? Our only true coalition partner in Iraq is not willing to have another go at it with us. Proof of this lies with the words of Foreign Secretary Jack Straw, formerly a US cheerleader. “This can ONLY (emphasis mine) be solved by peaceful means. Nobody is talking about invading Iran or taking military action.” Nobody but the USA, he really should have said.

Iran has us by the Shorthairs; There will be no Iranian war

Finally, we do not have the resources or manpower to invade Iran at this time, and won’t for the foreseeable future. Every military expert who has looked at this agrees that there is no way to solve the current situation with targeted airstrikes. We don’t know where the facilities are located, and currently have no intelligence on the ground to learn this information. The only effective way to prevent the Iranians from continuing with its nuclear program would be through a massive ground invasion, and we don’t have the capability to do anything close to that at present.

We are stuck with the usual Boosh and Condi bullshit threats, threats that we cannot back up. And, Iran knows this. Iran also knows that, although other countries would prefer that they stop the program, these countries will not go so far as to back us with troops and/or money. Our "coalition partners" learned a valuable lesson in Iraq, that Boosh and whoever he chooses to use as a mouthpiece, cannot be believed regarding world affairs. Especially those regarding economic issues or military action. They are lucky they don't live here. Then they would know that he cannot be believed on domestic issues either.

Iran has the oil that much of the world needs, and the world will not go out on a limb for this President or administration, thus risking losing access to that oil. There are indeed consequences for your actions, and Boosh is learning that the hard way. Whatever “political capital” he thinks that he gained during the ’04 election has long since been spent, and our credit has run out with our “coalition partners.” The thought of a coalition of any sort is simply another Boosh fantasy gone amok. We didn’t have a coalition in Iraq, and we damn sure won’t get one should we try to take on Iran. If the Brits, the only real partner we had in Iraq, aren’t willing to join us this time, there is zero chance that anyone else will. Plus, we can’t go it alone, no matter how much Boosh would like to pretend that we can. We can't handle the wars we are in now.

Boosh stated a good while back, “You’re either for us, or you’re for the terrorists.” Given that ridiculous statement and standard, it appears that the terrorists have a lot of friends on their side. No one should be surprised by this. After watching the actions of America over the last 3+ years, were I in charge of any other country in the world, I would ramp up a nuclear program as fast as I could. I would feel that I might need it someday soon. I would also stop taking phone calls from Boosh, or any of his representatives. I wouldn’t want anything that America had to offer me. It just might be poisonous.

Oklahoma; A Relevant Story

Oklahoma: 1970-1979

Things are booming. Oil is flowing like Texas tea, millionaires are being created by the thousands. Everybody has an airplane or two, if you aren’t wearing $1,000 cowboy boots you aren’t anybody. The booze is flowing almost as fast as the oil, alcoholics are being created faster than millionaires.

A friend of mine, Bill Patterson, has become the lead loan officer of the Penn Square Bank and is riding high. And getting high. Schmoozing with the millionaires is an everyday after hours event, in fact, creating wealth for oil people has become like a hobby to him. Bill is writing million dollar lines of credit on cocktail napkins at the bar. Rumor has it that he’s drinking scotch out of his shoe. Guys bring the napkins to the bank the next day, hand them to a secretary, and a couple of hours later are signing paperwork that allows them to leverage whatever amount of money that they want. If you are in the oil production business, or a business that supports the production of oil, the future is unlimited. Or, if you catch Bill especially lit up, all you have to do is tell him you are in the oil business and you can get a napkin. After a month, if a million isn’t enough, just make a phone call and that limit can be raised to five, or ten, or…………

My uncle lives in Cement Oklahoma. He has started his own business. He has found a niche in the oil industry that no one in Oklahoma has filled. He takes old, dilapidated oil rigs, gets the rust off, adds a little paint and makes these old parts look new. Sells them for half of what a new one would cost, and becomes a millionaire in one year. He has one employee who does the dirty work, Red (my uncle) just runs around the state taking useless parts off the hands of people who are tired of the eyesores, tired of having a no longer producing oil rig on their land. Most of the time he doesn’t have to pay anything for these products, just pays someone to haul them to his shop. Landowner is happy, Red is happy, and the people buying the parts are happy. It’s a win, win, win for everybody.

While this is occurring, Penn Square decides to share the wealth. And, admittedly, lessen the overextension that has occurred during these high times. In looking at their asset sheets, they realize that they are on the line for billions of dollars, money that they obviously don’t have. So, they need to downsize a bit. They begin selling a lot of these loans to other banks around the country. Banks are lined up wanting a piece of this action, so they have no problem unloading whatever they choose to rid themselves of. Eleven billion sold here, 18 billion there, easy come easy go. The five largest banks in the United States get most of the action, buying notes for airplanes, condos in the Caribbean, real estate in Florida, you name it. Or so they thought. Riding high and it will never end.

Halfway around the World; 1980

OPEC has a meeting. They see what is going on in the United States, all these people making all this money, and they really don’t know how much oil there is to be had there. Between western Oklahoma and the panhandle region of Texas, they see that there are thousands upon thousands of producing oil wells. They wonder, are all these wells a threat to our long term future? Could America slow down on the need for Middle Eastern oil because they have more of it than anyone ever thought? They decide that they are not willing to take that risk, so they decide to drastically drop the price of their oil. They have a whole lot of money, so selling oil as a loss leader for a while won’t hurt them much. Besides, oil was going to be a lifelong game for them, so they better nip this thing in the bud while they can. They don’t follow the usual procedure and give a heads up about this decision, they just pick a date to drop the price and do it.

Back in Oklahoma, 1980

Bill Patterson wakes up, grabs the newspaper and heads to work. When he arrives, he finds messages from banks all over the country marked urgent. Call them the second you get in the office. Bill thinks, “Screw it. I made these guys more money than they could ever have imagined, I’ll call them when I feel like it.” Besides, he’s hung over after last night’s activities. Then he opens the paper, and suddenly wants to jump out of a window. There in the headline it states that OPEC has decided to drop the price of oil to $15 per barrel. (an arbitrary figure, I don’t recall the actual number) Now he knows what all the emergency messages are about. Bill’s got a big problem, and Penn Square Bank has a bigger one.

You see, Bill knows that it costs $17 per barrel to get the oil out of the ground in Oklahoma. If OPEC is selling it for $15 then you are paying money to go get the oil. It doesn’t take a genius to see where this is headed. No one is going to pay money to go to work. He summons the courage to call one bank, the largest bank in the nation, a bank which purchased around $20 billion in oil loans from Bill. It seems that although the money was transferred, the paperwork had been overlooked. This guy wants the paperwork so he can start planning for how to snatch the collateral for these loans from these oil guys, now that it was obvious that they would immediately stop oil production. He tells the guy that he’ll get back with him soon.

Bill knows something that the other banker doesn’t. And, it’s not good news. While all these guys had bought condos and airplanes and fast cars and the like, all that Penn Square Bank had for collateral was the oil rigs themselves. Not their homes, cars, airplanes or anything else. Just the oil rigs, the same things that my Uncle Red had been getting for free from former oil producers. An oil rig that is not producing oil is nothing more than a very heavy paperweight. Totally worthless to anyone, including Red under those circumstances. Now he was out of business as well because he would no longer have any clients. But, he had made his money so it didn’t matter to him. He had no debt. But he knew the same thing that Bill and Penn Square Bank knew. The game was over.

The Fallout

All of the millionaire oil men were broke. Immediately, and overnight. Lawsuits were filed against Penn Square Bank by all the other banks. The courts assumed control of all of the fast cars, houses, and airplanes of all of the people who had been given loans by these banks. Million dollar homes were abandoned, airplanes and cars were placed in bullpens where they sat untouched for years while banks and oil men fought over who actually owned them. Penn Square Bank folded, and we came as close as we have ever come to the collapse of the entire American banking system.

Bill became the fall guy for the bank, his bosses claimed that they had no knowledge of the fact that none of these loans were collateralized. Pure bullshit, of course, but it quickly became every man for himself. Some bankers went to jail. All of the oilmen lost everything that they owned. Oklahoma was essentially bankrupt, and has only recently recovered, though it will never be like it was in the “good old days.” The smart ones that hadn’t leveraged everything they owned got away with a little money, but those were rare cases. Most believed that it would never end and were leveraged to the hilt.

Today

I know that this was a long story, but I think it is an important one. What you read here really happened, though most outside of the state of Oklahoma probably never knew the magnitude of the event. Bill Patterson is a real person, as is my Uncle Red. Red passed away a few years ago, but had a whole lot of money when he died. He was probably the smartest of the oil people, never borrowed a dime and made a small fortune.

This is what is about to happen to America, when the economy crashes. Nationwide, if not beyond. The super rich will remain so, the rest of us will have very little. Those who are living way beyond their means, with a huge house with 3 mortgages, several $40,000 cars and high credit card debt are going to end up on the streets. So, take it for what it is, hope that I am wrong, and get prepared.

Reader's Questions Adressed; A Clarification; Things

After reading all the comments over the last couple of days, I'm not sure you guys need me anymore. A lot of you are getting it, I'm certainly impressed. But, I'll hang out until you all toss me out. I feel like the US Government should feel, needed until the world tires of our bullshit, and then goes on without us, flushing us down the toilet in the process. (just kidding, I'm not whining today)

Warning, This Might Be Long Today

First, I want to clear something up. I apparently wasn't real coherent on what I meant when I was talking about gold, so I'm going to try again. What I was trying to convey is that gold is the best way to make money right now. I don't mean that the dollar is going to disappear, it is going to go through a "correction," and a severe one. Gold will also buy more dollars after the "correction" process is over. Gold is respected worldwide and that's not going to change, so the more gold one has the more dollars they will be able to purchase in the future. The price of gold will take a hit, but nowhere near what will happen to the dollar. And, the de-valued money can be recovered with gold, it won't be with dollars. Alright, that still doesn't satisfy what I'm trying to convey, so I'll keep working on it and try to put into words what is in my head later. Sorry, maybe I only confused the issue more. Help, qrswave, or somebody. I'm struggling with explaining this.

To the Comments and Questions

Freeacre, there are no dumb questions, given the state that we are in. It's confusing to everyone, so keep firing and maybe somebody can come up with a satisfactory answer or solution.

Anonymous said that I am either 100% right or 100% wrong, but either way we are fried. He/she is correct. I am assuming that he is talking about Cheney and Boosh and whether they are deposed or not. I am right, but that is beside the point. It may not make any difference, in the grand scheme of things, who is leading us. More on that in a little bit.

Paula, post all the links that you want. I don't do it, but I have my own reasons for not doing so. Don't let that stop you, though. Any information that might be helpful is welcome, we're all in this hellhole together.

The next several comments are connected, in a way. So, we'll make some ghoulash and hope it makes some sense in the end. EfSaturn wondered what we would see first, the dollar collapse or $5 per gallon gasoline. My bet is that the collapse will occur first. This is not going to be an announced collapse, but a carefully orchestrated one. Announcing it would defeat the purpose. The collapse is going to be swift and painfully dramatic, and could happen at any moment. This economy is nothing but smoke and mirrors, all of the numbers that are thrown around by the "economic geniuses" are simply bullshit. Technofreak, from Australia, mentioned that the DOW and the ASX (Australian version of the DOW) aren't showing "cracks." I won't speak for the ASX, but the DOW is not showing any cracks because it's all fiction anyway. It won't show cracks, it will dissolve. In a hurry, without warning. Think about how quickly the backs of the middle class have been broken. The next level of Americans will be broken overnight, with the Grand Crash. That will happen when the puppetmasters decide that we have all been sufficienly bled, and it could be as bad or worse than the '29 depression. Sean wondered if the "Booshvics have so many people in place that we are powerless." In short, yes, we are powerless. I can't believe what is about to come off of my keyboard, but here it comes. This economic crash is not the fault of George Boosh. Through total incompetence and insane policy, he is absolutely responsible for moving the timetable up by a decade or two. But, it was going to happen eventually, regardless of who was in charge. Our entire corrupt political structure has made our crash inevitable. (Whew, not blaming this on Boosh was tougher than I expected)

I lived through what is soon to happen to our economy once before. The state that I was raised in, Oklahoma, went bankrupt literally overnight. Paper multi-millionaires woke up one day and they were broke. Absolutely penniless. So, it's probably easier for me to see what's coming than it is for most of you. Maybe tomorrow I'll tell that story. It's sad, yet fascinating. But, as we know, history repeats itself. Always. This time it is going to repeat itself on the grandest of scales, and all but the super rich are going to be drastically and negatively effected by it. There will be no winners in the short term, it may well save our country in the long term. I hope so, anyway.

What is really important in all of this is what happens after the crash. We will find out how incestuous the Democrats and Republicans really are, once and for all, and we will maybe find out who the true puppet masters are. It can play one of two ways that immediately come to mind. More will undoubtedly follow.

One, the economy can crash and we can continue on the current course to a degree, with different leadership and a similar agenda to what we see today. The new leadership will tell us little beyond "we're in bad shape" but we still have a war on terror to fight, we'll all have to make sacrifices, blah blah blah, and the military complex that I have talked about will begin to emerge. When the upper middle class realizes that they really aren't wealthy, and that the government doesn't give any more of a damn about them than they did the victims of Katrina, the suicides will begin. I mean that literally, I've seen it happen before, right here in America. As Morpheus so wisely stated in one of the comments, we can "only speculate on the degree of chaos that will ensue in the fallout." He is exactly on point with this, it depends on a few things. One, if the Democrats are heavily involved in this entire mess, meaning they are as guilty as the neocons and have in essence been a party to this madness all along, we will be expected to merrily follow the new leadership further into oblivion. Should that be "the plan," after the dust settles, we the people will either buy the new package, accepting government jobs in the New America at ridiculously low pay, that sacrifice thing, you know, or we can summon the courage to revolt, and some form of a civil war will ensue.

The other option is much more appealing. If we really do have people in power positions who want to do the right thing, then you will see a new government that pulls the troops out of Iraq and from the rest of the world, exposes the neocon agenda and the "war on terror" for what they really are, and begs for forgiveness from others in the world. We will begin rebuilding this country for the right reasons, much like we did in the 30's. Together. We clean up politics, strip the corporations of their power, forget about taking over the world, greatly reduce defense spending and use what is put in that piece of the pie for defense only, rather than offense, put education, healthcare, and people back in the agenda. In simple terms, build the America that most of us hope to see, one that puts the welfare of its people first. If that turns out to be the case, people will come together much like we did immediately after 9/11. People will work hard, help each other out, become a caring country again, and people will accept making the sacrifices that will be necessary after a crash of the economy.

Both of these possibilities obviously have many other factors, and will include much pain and carnage. In the immediate aftermath of the crash, no one will have much money, and may not have a way to spend what they do have. And, we have a percentage of the population who don't mind killing people for what others have, and those people will have to be dealt with. That is where Murph's community planning comes into play. Everyone is going to need such a group to band together to fight lawlessness, watch each others backs, and take each others strengths and combine them into a working order that allows for survival. For a while, that is all it will be about, mere survival. If you can, imagine the aftermath of Katrina, minus the flooding, in your neighborhood. The situation will be similar for a while. Cops won't show up for work, looting will be rampant, resources will be scarce. So, good people are going to have to take care of each other. Trying to guess how long such conditions will exist is impossible, but you can bet it will be a good long while. Suffice it to say that it will be ugly, uglier than anything you have seen or can imagine happening in your neighborhood.

The thing that people need to understand is that how this plays out is not in our control. It is strictly in the hands of the true power brokers, and they will make the rules. They will decide how much a dollar is worth, they will decide who runs the government, they will decide whether we continue on the current path or change for the good of all humanity. The only card that we will be able to play is the revolt card, and frankly I doubt the ability or the stomach of most Americans to stand up and fight for what they believe in, should it become necessary. It would be so much easier to accept what follows, just as we've accepted Booshco for 5 years. But, as we can see, that didn't turn out too well. So when is enough enough? That's what we must decide.

We will be given a blessing. A blessing of removing the most corrupt government in the history of our Republic from power. In the long run, the crashing of the American economy is probably a blessing as well. It allows us to re-evaluate who we really want to be, something that is long overdue. We have spun out of control over the last who knows how many years, without paying our fair share. We have taken, but we haven't tithed. You can only get away with that for so long, as every empire in history has learned. Now the rest of the world has had enough of us. I told you a long time ago that there were saviors out there. I also told you that they don't work for free. We are soon to find out just how much they charge.

To be continued,

Cyclone
