Sometimes Life Gets in the Way

I apologize for no post today, but sometimes life's struggles get in the way. It appears that you guys have done well in my absence, noting the discussions in the comments section. I have not been hauled to Gitmo, and should be back with some babble tomorrow. Thanks to all for coming by. And, Rockpicker, another stroke of brilliance. I think I'll print this where it belongs, taking the liberty to do so without your permission. Feel free to yell at me later if you wish.

Conundrum

If a bunker buster falls
in the desert, and no one
shows you photos
of the shadows
of the little bodies
burned onto concrete walls,
is the wailing of mothers
still swallowed
in the whirr of rotors?

Take a day off! Hell you deserve it! It won't kill us to converse with ourselves!

Rockpicker,

Get thee up, and get thyself PUBLISHED! It's too big and too real to keep it to yourself, dude! Your work hits right between the eyes with a cold clarity nothing that has ever gone before you ever has! The next "Howl" is raging in your soul looking for a way out! LET IT OUT!!!!
