T-Shirts Are Now Available

Hey Real Deal Folks,

Just thought I'd drop a quick note advising of something that is way late happening, but happening none the less. We now have Cyclone's Real Deal T-Shirts available. (I'm sure that we will know when it becomes necessary and mandatory to wear them!) I have decided to make one slight change to them, however.

Since we all seem to want to do our part in protecting the environment and save oil in the process, these shirts are going to be available only in "organic cotton." Sorry Stoney, no black. Organic cotton is a little bit more expensive, but has many advantages. By doing this we will help cotton farmers, save oil that we clearly need for the future by not using dye and help the environment since they use no pesticides to grow this cotton. They are also extremely comfortable. There are other advantages as well. I know that a few T-Shirts won't save much oil, but we have to start somewhere, so it may as well be here. There will be one exception to this.

Natural cotton tends to run a tad bit smaller than other "dyed" models, and the largest that I can get are 2x. So, if you need a larger size than that, I will do some in Ash Gray for those special orders. Natural cotton is an off white color that may vary somewhat from shirt to shirt, but they look good. These will all be "Direct Printed," not Screen Printed, which also costs a bit more but will look better and last longer.

Pricing:

Organic cotton: S-XL $17 + $3 shipping
2XL $19 + $3 shipping

Ash Gray: S-XL $15 + $3 shipping
2-4XL 17 + $3 shipping

I originally thought that using PayPal would be the easiest way to handle this. But, after learning what I learned from Belgium about PayPal, we will figure out a different method of payment. I'll let everybody know what that is a little later. In the meantime, please email me at cyclone@cyclonesrealdeal.com with your orders. Please include the number of shirts, sizes, and color choice. Hopefully most if not all will choose organic cotton, but I know they are a couple of bucks more and $2 is a lot to some of us. If sometime in the distant past gave me an order or told me what you want, please do so again so I can make sure that you are still interested and that I get the proper number and correct sizes.

Thanks to all, you are doing a great job in my absence.

Cyclone, I really do not want to interfere with the way you run your site. There is a growing population that have issues with Pay Pal. So much so that there is a whole web site dedicated to airing their grievences. At least you should be aware of it before committing yourself. If you still want to do it that way then that is fine.

Belgium,

I was not aware of this. We will find another way. I'll still take orders and we'll find another way to pay for them. Thanks for the info, and I'll change the post.

Hey Freeman,

Isn’t Montana some place in Texas?

Language is only a vehicle for getting ideas from one head into anther. If that is achieved then it has done its job, no more, no less. The purists are the ones with their heads stuck up their arses. Do you know the French have a society dedicated to maintaining the purity of the language? The rest of the world recognises it is a living thing sometimes looking a bit like a junk yard car but as long as it capable of getting you from one place to the next it has done its job.

Montana Freeman,

DSmn, brother! Sounds like your feeling GOOOOOOOOOD today!!!

Yep, I'll have to agree! Fighting to the death may be the only option we have! If the Neocons get there way, nobody will want to live in the country that results!

The moon creeps across the southern sky and cricket sleeps under her rock house, owl glides on wing through the cool night searching for something to eat,a gentle breeze drifts through the window, and all is quite this time of morning.
Cyclone i will take one extra large organic cotton to start and show it around and see if i can round up some more customers, the idea of desert property sounds a little harsh but it would have to really be scouted out for all the necessary ingredients for life, water etc but mostly if folks of a like mind band together, that seems like the most important ingredient of all, don't you? wish i was younger although older folks have value simply because they have been through so much and can help avoid some of the pitfalls that will occur along the way of any endeavor .

thanks for your kindness and uplifting thoughts, sometimes things just seem to pile up and nothing makes sense, thats when i load up my ole beater of a toyota with camping stuff and head into the wilderness which is very close to where i live anyway and seek solitude amoung the trees ,the river and all the realations that come out once they sense that you mean them no harm.

Stoney,
same to you brother, you guys really make a difference with your words of compassion and offerings of friendship.

Murph and Freeacre,
Seems like its been ages sinse we rendezvoured at the happy hollow campground, hope your chicken collection will be producing eggs by the end of summer and if you keep a light on them in their roost they might lay all winter for you,at least mind did when i raised chickens.

Rockpicker and Oldensoul,
Hope to see you guys at some point, please feel free to stay at our place if you find yourselfs in the vicinity of hot springs, would love to have you.

Uncuga,
Very unusual username, glad you decided to comment here in this place of malcontents, and also for the kindness of offering refuge to folks that might find themselfs in need and could lend assistance to you also, it sounds like you and your husband have a nice place to survive whatever happens, because it seems like it might get really nasty before it gets better,i have had many friends from the south and of course you have a brother close to where you guys are at,stoney our guardian that keeps a keen eye on things,
hopefully more people will see fit to come on board and respond with thoughts of their own to enrich this marvelous blogsite. well i think its great anyway,i've learned a lot from the people that write here and all the links to other places,so anyway thanks again for sitting at this council fire and you just could not be in better company,

peace to all of you and thanks for your good thoughts this day,

A farm in Georgia sounds good to me, Uncuga, as I woke up this morning at 4,300 ft. level in Central Oregon and it was 38 degrees outside my window! At this rate, Montana, I should be raising penguins, not chickens. Jeez!
Jane Bryant Quinn, the financial writer for Newsweek, came out with a pretty good article this week on the decline in oil and how we need to make a major effort to conserve it. Also pointed out problems with alternative fuels, etc. For a mainstream writer, I thought she did a pretty good job. I think that we are going to see the establishment introducing the idea of diminished supplies of oil more and more so that people don't panic. So, we "doomers" aren't going to be so totally discounted much longer.
Housing prices are falling even here. Stagnant market this year after last year's boom. Gold is up again. If the housing goes belly-up, the jobs and then basically everything else will follow. It kind of figures that for the first time in my life I have some money saved, and soon it won't be worth shit. I don't know if we should drive into Bend and come back from Costco with about a hundred cans of coffee, and other goods to barter with, or what.
I keep wondering just who they are planning to incarcerate in those Halliburton camps. Certainly not the ones that ought to be in there - the ones who have created this clusterfuck.
I am surviving living without the tube just fine. More and more I am convinced that it is essential to shun the corporate world and that is a good beginning step. Now I am wondering "what next?" I am switching to cloth bags for groceries. Thinking of not buying anything but fair trade items or things made locally. Probably have to sew my own bras - oh, joy!

Freeacre

You would not have to worry about sewing your own bras. If You had not burned all the old ones when you were visiting us here in Ann Arbor. lol

Lilac,
Maybe I should come back. It's probably one of the few places I could go without wearing one and not get arrested!

Hi All. Hope Lady Liberty smiles on you today. Central MO can be your refuge. I no longer live in the city, but Columbia is a progressive community that gets it. Not all may be in tune with the true state of our world, but most are sympathetic. We are centrally located, have good soil and water, and enough common sense to find our way in the wilderness. I hope to share a pipe with you someday.

Another female here. I am more of a lurker though; I rarely comment. Like Uncuga I am here to learn.
Thanks for keeping the site up and running.
