Another Cyclone Rant

I’m tired of it, all of it. What is Cyclone tired of, you might ask? Well, I’m gonna tell you. Just so you’ll know, the list might be kind of long. I don’t know yet because I’m working off the top of my head here. If I actually wrote it down, I’d probably blow my brains out before I finished. So, instead of leaving that mess for someone else to clean up, I’m just going for it.

I’m tired of “the Decider” claiming to decide things for me when in reality he is only deciding not to change anything he’s already decided. I’m tired of having a stubborn moron with an IQ of 80 deciding that I have to read about one more kid dying or getting his legs blown off in Iraq, in MY NAME, because some fool doesn’t know when to fold ‘em. Don’t fret, it’s in your name too because we won’t do anything about it, nor will we elect anyone who will. I'm tired of the Decider saying he' s listening to the general's on the ground when he has to shop for new ones every few months to find some who will agree with him. I’m especially tired of it when this “war” is being fought over oil, and last week I paid $2.46 for a gallon of gas and this week I’m paying $3.24, for no good reason. They bought the stuff in the last fiscal quarter, so unless their tank ran dry last Friday I’m being taken to the cleaners. I’m tired of the answer to that crisis being the invention of something called NOPEC, which some group of phony nimrods in the good old boys club is claiming will hold accountable all those Arabs who are screwing us. I’d feel better if they called it BPPEC or MOBILPEC or something. I'm tired of the Democrats not having the balls to de-fund this debacle in the desert, because the Decider says that the history books will show that we "lost" this war; they all know that we "lost" much more than a war the day we went in. I'm tired of the White House leaking a report saying that Al Qaeda is as strong or stronger than they were in 2001, a position agreed to by all intelligence experts, only to have the Decider say in a speech the next day that it is all a bunch of BS, that they are NOT stronger. I’m tired of the Vampire Dick Cheney, and maybe at least as much his wife. The odds of two people that evil meeting and falling in love at an early age have to be astronomical. I should have won the lottery or have been struck by lightening at least a dozen times before that's allowed to happen. I’m tired of having a Director of Homeland Security who tells me to be vigilant because he has a “gut feeling” that something “might happen this summer,” but no hard intelligence mind you. How about at least some “soft intelligence?” Now if something does happen, I’m going to have no choice but to wonder whether he, the Decider or the Vampire and his wife had something to do with it. I’m tired of having an entire Justice Department run by a guy who thinks he’s STILL the personal lawyer of the Decider, and refusing to represent ME, his true client. I’m tired of paying out the butt for health insurance and then receiving bills in the mail for stuff they don’t cover, usually a pretty hefty amount. I’m also tired of hearing about 40+ million people who are a helluva lot worse off than I am, those who have no insurance when we will have spent over a TRILLION dollars in Iraq before it’s all said and done. That’s a lot of zero’s, and could have paid for a lot of Doctor's visits. I’m tired of being told that the economy is great when the DOW keeps setting records while I have less money no matter how hard I work. I'm tired of being told in the next breath that I probably won't get the Social Security that I'm entitled to because we're broke. I'm tired of it taking 6 months to get a passport when they have only known the date that the rules were changing for 3 years and can't figure out how to do it right. I'm tired of corporations telling me what to buy, when to buy it, and what I can and cannot do. I’m tired of having a Constitution, which has served us pretty well for a couple of hundred years being stomped on and ignored by the above mentioned folks. I’m tired of a Supreme Court dead set on re-writing the damned thing. I’m tired of being told that everything that is imported from China might just kill me or my dog, when two thirds of everything I see has “Made in China” stamped all over it. I’m tired of an education system that does everything BUT educate, it’s more like a large group of “think they are adults” day care centers. I’m tired of hearing about how we are creating jobs when I see qualified people drawing unemployment because they make more than they would if they accepted the jobs that are being created. Good people too, not a bunch of lazy welfare mom’s. I’m tired of houses costing more than anyone can ever pay for them, and now can't sell them when they have to. I’m tired of the banks stealing them back from these same people. I’m tired of spending a minimum of $50 every time I walk out of the house. I’m tired of judges who think they are God. I’m tired of Democrats making promises that they refuse to keep, and I’m tired of them STILL blaming it on the Republicans. I’m tired of hearing about how bad “benchmarks” are, when they are really the only thing that we ever really see that helps us. I'm tired of the death penalty, where we spend $6 million dollars killing someone 20+ years after a crime when we could have locked them up for the rest of their lives for $1 million. I’m tired of Sara Taylor answering every fifth question asked by Congress, and everybody else answering with, "I don't recall" like they are a bunch of FBI agents or something. I’m tired of the Harriet Miers' of the world deciding they won’t show up when they are handed a subpoena by the Congress of MY COUNTRY, because the Decider tells her not to, when you and I would go directly to jail without passing go for doing the same thing. And YES, mr. Decider, this is MY COUNTRY too. I'm tired of the Scooter Libby's of the world walking away scot free because they are willing to sell their souls to the devil and lie for and protect the criminals who lead him. I'm tired of hearing about an election that is over a year and a half away, when I've already heard about it nonstop for four months. I'm tired of the Media swallowing this crap hook, line and sinker and making me hear about it 24/7. I'm tired of having a Commander in Chief that is so mentally unstable that one MUST wonder if he is actually a human being or some alien creature. I'm REALLY tired of hearing the name Karl Rove. I'm tired of the overall, utter incompetence in EVERY area. But, I’m mostly tired of the American people sitting back and taking this crap, while forcing the rest of the world to watch it.

And, I’m tired of the pothole a block and a half from my house that has become the size of a golf green. I pay taxes, so fix the damned thing before I lose my car in it.

Lots of dignitaries here to pay their respects to Lady Bird ...

A TRILLION dollars could have put a whole lot of solar panels on maybe 40% of the houses in the US.

And, Cyclone, turn off your TV. Rest for a while. Then come back and rant. I love it :^)

Me too.
I'm also tired of having no health insurance, which means when things get bad I get to go to some free clinic somewhere where I get treated like a piece of crap, told what shit I am because I don't have health insurance and why can't I just die and stop being a drain on the economy, and treated by some quack who knows less about medicine than I do.
I'm tired of trying to get an education and better myself and having to go into debt to do it, debt I may never be able to pay back when rich trust fund kids get it all paid for them and drive around brand new Ford Mustangs while my little piece of shit barely makes it to and from campus every night and leaks oil the whole damn way.
I'm tired of neighbors that complain that my wildflowers and vegetable gardens are "unsightly" compared to their ecologically dead and petroleum maintained lawns.
I'm tired of stupid people who can't put two and two together. I'm tired of feeling really superior to our President for a lot of reasons, but also because my IQ is 3 points shy of being double his. And I'm tired of ignorance.

Sorry cyclone, just thought I'd go off on my own rant for a bit.

From Belgium,

When you look at the record of the long termers, not those who have voluntarily jumped ship but those at the top of the pyramid and say what achievements stand for them, it is difficult to decide whether to be overwhelmed or underwhelmed. For the few misguided souls who don’t much care for ‘Idol’ and the like and actually use the brains they were given, then the realization that burnout was always part of the plan comes as a bit of a bucket of water in the face. Let others take the lead for a while whilst you find the time to regroup your thoughts.

Austin,

Hell, I just turned my TV back on! I'm raring to go, just trying to put my long time view that the Boosh administration is incompetent at EVERYTHING they do in a slightly different form. It felt great, and I'll do it again.

Don't get hit by a limo, I'm sorry about Lady Bird. I do think she died happy though.

I will be answering ALL your emails just as soon as I get back on line!

The only reason I got to send this is because I had to sit for hours in the Henderson County Library to get to use a computer!

You had me cheering you on! I think the rest of our country would be too if they were here. The domestic problems we have are far worse than we know because no one's paying attention to our country slowly erroding away from the inside out, (there's too many distractions.) ...unless you drive your car into them. BTW, Deer Hunting w/Jesus arrived today. I'll start reading it tonight. And then maybe I'll have someting to say to those in denial still praising the empire ship of fools.

AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!! I just watched this movie, "Open Water," that brought back all the feelings of being stuck in an out-of-control place (in my case, Jamaica 1984-86)run by morons and criminals where you could die any minute from some dumbass thing for no reason. The movie was based on the true story of some American tourists who were abandoned in the sea during a diving trip by incompetent locals who didn't really give a f**k about them.
Now flash forward to the good ol' USA twenty years later...and it's starting to feel the same way around here. Americans all over the place bobbing up and down in their ocean of unreality, and wondering what in the heck is bumping into their legs...what kind of fins are those coming at them?
I read somewhere that this country peaked in 1974.
I'm really sick of the pod reality that turned us from "citizens" into "consumers." Turned us from Freedom Fighters into peasants tethered by their cell phones to their jobs 24/7, and kept alive to purchase things, and pay taxes and fees at every turn that put a money into an overlord's pocket. Milked all our lives like dairy cattle by everybody starting from the hospital where you were born, throughout your whole life, and ending with your life savings going into paying off your medical or funeral expenses. You'd think that with all this money we've paid, and the "strength of the economy" all these years, we'd have great roads, smart cars, top-of-the-line railroad system, excellent medical care, great schools, an educated populace, and a justice system that is the envy of the world.
Oh wait! That's what we USED to have...then Nixon, and Reagan, and Bush, and Clinton, and Bush again. Same people in the background practically the whole time pulling the strings... Kissinger, Breziensky (sp?), Baker, Rumsfeld, Chaney, Rove, et al). And behind them, the Federal Reserve (we don't know exactly who they are), and the REALLY BIG BOYS - the corporate globalist Old Family guys.
There are only two types of people in the US now: those who depend on their paychecks for their livelihood, and those who rely on profits from investments or properties. Working Class and Investment Class.
What I am afraid is going to happen will be that the Workers will turn on each other and not show support for each other due to racial, ethnic, or religous divsions. If the Mexican oil fields tank this year and/or resistance forces sabotage the pipelines (as they are doing), and a whole lot of Mexicans lose their means of support and come streaming North, what will we do? Fight each other? Let the Mexicans, or Muslims, or "eco-terrorists," or whatever, go to "detention centers?" Then, of course, anyone who objects to those tactics is also an enemy, so they get rounded up, too.
There are big sharks in the water. And,the fuckin' boat has left.
And, ras, our Lit'l Darlin', if you have a 157 IQ, that's a haul- your-butt-out-of-Arkansas-and plop- it-in-Oxford-Rhodes-Scholarship- Program type of IQ. I think you should figure out exactly what you want to do the most in life, pick the very best school for that subject, and go there, take an aptitude test, and let THEM pay your way through school. It'd be worth a shot. Find out how Bill Clinton did it.

TODAY is the happy occurrence of the marriage between Devin and Mary taking place on a mountain meadow in southwestern montana, the lucky young warrior happens to be the son of MR.Rockpicker esq.i have only met them each once last year about this time and was quite taken by them.
We wish all the best for this young couple, and the future ahead of them in these times of much needed love to be spread before them as kindness and consideration being reflected in all that they see.
i think that with this council, of whom we were all invited to witness this sweet event would give pause to reflect on our own world of magic, and the wonderful things that have taken place in our lives.

i had prepared a comment to the rant but it seems to be covered pretty well so i'll just quit with this,

Devin and Mary i wish i could have made it to your most sacred event,we think of you and hope to see you later this summer.

Congratulation to Devin and Mary! May you have long, prosperous, happy lives together.

Freeacre, I have NO interest in that kind of thing. When I first started college I was on the path of academia. I quickly realized that there was no way that it was for me. The struggle in the Ivory Tower is brutal. Beyond brutal; I prefer the streets I grew up on, frankly. The competition is so fierce its unbelievable. You have to publish, publish, publish. You have to suck up to the NSF or corporate interests to get funding, and then they dictate your research. Colleagues stab each other in the back, peers sabotage each others research. And that’s after you’ve gotten INTO the tower and are working in it. I was going to have to go for a PhD for anyone to take me seriously. That’s 6-12 years beyond undergraduate, living on a tiny stipend that won’t pay rent (and this is with a fellowship), dealing with all the crap mentioned above, and graduating so far in debt I would never work my way out. This is all regardless of whatever field I went into. As for the Rhodes, etc, I took one look at them and knew I wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning one. Smarts aren’t the main criteria for those things; you have to have the right criteria. AP classes, extracurricular activities, the right classes, the right experiences, the right references. The schools I went to before college barely offered algebra; never mind swim team or foreign languages. I left school as fast as I could everyday to avoid getting killed and to go earn money to eat on.

I went to State U on grants and scholarships; I didn’t have to pay a dime the first several years. I started off in the sciences, then switched to engineering when I realized that it wasn’t for me. I studied aerospace engineering with some really silly idea that maybe I could work for the space program and help get people off this rock before we completely kill it. The only job I could get after graduation wasn’t with NASA; it was with a DOD contractor. I did that for a bit, on defense work only, until they tried to get me work on something I considered completely unethical. I told them to shove it, they fired me and blacklisted me. I haven’t had a full-time job, much less an engineering job, since.

As for what I want to do, I’m all ready doing it somewhat. My goals are to help heal this world and the people in it. I’m working on my counseling degree now because the need for mental health services isn’t going to go down anytime soon. And is only going to get worse with climate change and PO. I’ll make nickels and dimes, but that’s fine. I’m also a gardener/aspiring farmer, part-time herbalist (learning) and I’m trying to learn permaculture. They don’t teach this kind of thing in regular colleges, lol. The Farm teaches permaculture classes, but they’re too expensive for me right now.

Aho

what ras is telling us folks is that politcs is not limited to politics. and politics is such that if you want to "make it" within the system we have created for ourselves you have to sell your soul somewhere along the way. you have to go PAST yourself and the very second you do that you're toast unless you turn around and make a choice in keeping within the limits of your own self interest and personal power. within your own self politic.

self interest has been totally misunderstood and judged against and the real understanding of it lies in realizing there is a perfection to creation that is a self balancing system. one man cannot override another against their will without first overriding themselves in some form.

the cosmos operates on the same politic or it would contradict itself. it will not override the will of one to make a choice to override the will of others so that each involved can learn its lessons.

that is, will not intervene unless and until the balance point has been exceeded to the point that the survival of the whole is threatened and hangs in the balance so to speak. think of it in terms of sand pile theory then look at the reflections this planet and its peoples are giving us. how far out away from the balance point have we, the pendulum, swung? how many more grains of sand before there is a major shift and the whole thing turns around? what will it look like when it does? where do i want to place myself in the context of it?

ras tells us our system is broken. which is not entirely right because interwoven in the system is its own demise. but i know she knows this too. this is not to say it was wrong for america and her people to explore it.

the lesson is in the learnin. what is truely amazing is that so many actually see this about our system but do nothing about it. deep down they know.

ya, its damn hard and nearly impossible when its everywhere, its everywhere. buck it and you are judged a misfit of society and you damn sure won't be hailed as the next great gift to the mind of modern man. and some folks find themselves responsible, not only for themselves, but for their children before they realize the reality that they are traped on the dead end street they find themselves on.

our biggest challenge is our own conditioning, our own ideologies, and our own mis-guided limits and belief systems put into place so very long ago and our continued denial of it.

there is nothing wrong with setting limits. they are necessary. and belief systems do create our realities. but when we are operating on limits and frozen belief systems and ideologies that may have been right for their moment in time in the midst of the experience at hand and then apply those forever more, evolution is anamatha. one size does not fit all. maybe this is why even the coldest heart can melt at the sounds and site of a merry-go-round as, woven into the mortar of even the coldest heart is a never ending porpensity to seek the balance point on the macro and for each differentiated bundle of essence to seek to know themselves and their own right place as a microcosm within the macro.

we MUST create a new paradigm and the goals ras has set for herself.... to help heal this world and the people in it... represent an INTENTION that is the only seed from which a new paradigm shall be conceived, gestated, born, and nurtured and the only place from which to begin.

which brings us to the next great challenge. the decesion. the best way we can heal the world and the people in it is to heal ourselves. and we can't do that if we sell our souls.

you are amazing ras and i stand in awe of you girl. we are all blessed to have you amoung us around this council fire... p

"What I am afraid is going to happen will be that the Workers will turn on each other and not show support for each other due to racial, ethnic, or religous divsions."

you may have just hit d'nail on d'head. we remember the times when folks have demonstrated a tendency to pull together and work together toward a common goal in trying times. we are in trying times and this has not happened. instead, we are lined up according to our frozen points of view and ideologies many of which fall straight into those 3 categories freeacre noted. the more shit that gets shoved to the bottom the more shit that will rise up in chaos. iraq can be considered a legitimate preview of the coming horror flic.

can't happen here you say? remember 'nawlins? imagine that on a national level. now imagine it on a global level. the masses are pushed to the max. many in the 3rd worlds are not surviving. some in this country are not. most in this country are barely surviving and most would survive as long as sand pile theory doesn't catch up with us.

when a big event happens or series of events happen that combine to trigger the survival chakra, all hell will break loose and your neighbor will be more likely to kill you than share a cup of water because he knows you will kill him if he doesn't.

it is one thing to be triggered in a state of denial. it is quite another for the same thing to be triggered in a state of acceptance.

there are those who tell us there is a coming salvation in the form of a leap in consciousness. there may be truth to this and i am all for raising consciousness. we damn sure need some help from somewhere.

BUT..........

can a collective consciousness hold the line against this collectively triggered 7th chakra when it is threatened to the point of breaking loose? where the twisted machinations toward survival at any cost dwell? where denied rage and terror prey upon and torture in a horrific pissing contest? where every denial of the masses lurks?

not to mention where every social misfit, every drug addict, every slum dweller, street fighter, gang member, homeless victum, rapist, murderer, pimp, whore, psychopathic killer, pedophile, poverty stricken, low-life, crazed minded, killer instinct, murderous inclination, revenge seeker, mother hater, father hater, neighbor hater, fellow hater, homo hater, white, black, brown, red, yellow, jew, christian, or muslim hater, and every nazi, skin head, jihadist, zionist, christ crusader and so on, does their bid'ness?

where the shadow runs the show teathered only by a consciousness that seeks to hold the line against it?

should it even?

maybe the only way to raise consciousness is to let the basement show us the way we lost it in the first place!! ...p

by the way ras, i've taken the alternate building course at the farm. though i did find some value i was far from impressed.

albert does not have a good support system in place to keep the place up. when i was there the oragnic gardens had gone to the weeds. at least that was the case 3 years ago.

he did have an internship at that time. if it were me i would look somewhere else for the same.

there is a pdg water purification bio system there though for both black and grey water and you could learn much from that. it was constructed with a grant. albert is pluged deeply into the permaculture network on a global level so connecting with him there could open doors beyond.

the farm is not what it was once in terms of an interacting intentional community. many factions of it pretty much keep to themselves. so it is with albert's gig.

you can find value there as an intern but it may not be in the image you think it is and i suspect therre are far better choices out there.

the only advantage i see is that its close to you and albert might be open a deal outside the definition of his usual internship where you could trade your magic touch for his inside info, his connections to the network, and what you could learn from his h20 system.

if you want to chat about it let me know... offthewalls@bellsouth.net... p

From Belgium,

Amazing Ras,

What the young generation largely fail to see is that education grants are turned on and off like water as the need for cannon fodder arises or subsides. The ‘youfs’ of today would prefer to play roulette with their lives in order to conform to what others have fitted them into rather than sticking a finger up and smirking at the system.

I am impressed to know you even if it is only in cyberspace.

lololo!! Now, let's see..."President Bush is the best President we've ever had." Hummm. What is it that you like so much about him? It can't be his foreign policies, since they are all an abject failure. It can't be his domestic policies, since our infrastructure is crumbling, FEMA counldn't figure out how to bring water to stranded citizens for 4 days and still hasn't got the levies fixed, despite millions of dollars donated that they never got. We've sold our highways to foreign countries as well as our national parks because the country has been on the verge of bankruptcy since Bush took over. It can't be our diplomatic front, as the whole world hates us (except Bulgaria or somebody) due to oppressive IMF policies and torture and secret prisons all over the world. It can't be his "conservatism" as he has just about negated the constitution with the help of his personal lawyer compadre Gonzales as his concilarie, uh, Atty. General. It can't be his honesty, since he just refused to have his henchman, Libby, receive consequences for breaking the law, and he's so many of his supporters (Ken DuLay comes to mind - remember Enron? Abramoff?)have been convicted of being some of the biggest thieves ever. No, it can't be anything having to do with competence or integrity, because he has repeatedly demonstrated that he doesn't have any.
Maybe it's "the cut of his jib." Maybe you just think he's just attractive in some sort of slaving fascist, repressed Brokeback Mountain sort of way. Is that it? Kinda cute, is he? You like the cut of his jeans or those cowboy boots. Or maybe you should just calm down and take your medicine.

p,

I do think that you will see some of what you are talking about when the SHTF. But, people are generally worn out from this collective bunch of miscreants that we have leading this parade, and I think that an ending, no matter how bad, might just bring relief to many. At least the older ones of us, and it may actually help to a degree. Of course you are still going to have to be armed to the teeth to fight off the mental cases and the younger folks who seem to have little to no conscience, but people might come together more than you think. Just a thought, in all reality, who the hell knows what to expect? Interesting stuff to think about anyway,

Anonymous 4:58,

Here now!! Your personal insults are amusing, and far from threatening. I know that disappoints you, but.....

By the way, do they have a school show people like you how to invade and not conquer? You should work for the Boosh administration, they seem to be good at that themselves. You slide in like a stealth bomber, drop your load, and disappear back into Dimwit Land. Was it as good for you as it was for me? I'll bet you are just hootin' it up with a BPR about now, huh?

Oh, and by the way, you had better go take your flag down, it's supposed to rain in your area tonight. I just looked it up on the weather station. Wouldn't want to foul that flag now would we? Oh, and GOD BLESS AMERICA, and Allah bless Saud, and Buddah bless Arica and all the others I guess. Don't want to leave anyone out, you know.

Dear 4:58 pm,
Please spit that chew our for a minute, its dripping all down the front of your ignorance my brother.
You say you've been here a good long while,? and have learned nothing? Thats a little hard to believe actually. Your interest must amount to some notion of maybe belonging to this council, well brother,( i feel like you are a brother, i may be wrong,i was wrong once )you are welcome here to express anything you wish to get off your chest as you have now. There is no need to feel like an outcast here because all are welcome to Cyclones real deal, he said so i think,
this council is based on a brothersisterhood of mutual expression of the things that are at the forefront of whatever is that is on your mind, and i can see that you need a friend in a bad way,
well you've come to the right place, why don't you tell us a little about yourself and why you think this is a commie hangout? personally i have never in my life met a person that said that they believed in the communist way of doing things and i'v been in a lot of strange places and met a lot of people that had strange ideas, myself included of course.
Personally i have been in jail in 7 different states and one foreign country and served time in a federal penitentiary for the heinous crime of growing marijuana.
maybe you can top that,i also was in the US Navy and honorably discharged after there finding out that i lied about my age to just join up, i wanted to see the world you see.
of course as teenagers we would jack neighbors cars and take them for "joy rides" and if caught would get a damn good talking to, and it worked.
Parking on a hilltop outside of town with the current girl friend on a saturday night the cops would roll up, shine there lights on us to make sure we were using condoms then take our beer and tell us to get home before midnight and leave,it worked,
of course they don't do things that way anymore. to civilized you know, need to teach them little bastards a lesson they will never forget sort of thing nowadays.
Could ramble on but its just boring ordinary shit so will close with this, you know you really are no different then your brothers and sisters that attend this sacred council fire, and there are more then likely folks here that have done a hell of a lot worse things then you have, so might as well lighten up and just feel welcome here at Cy,s home for the feeble minded, and have a good time with us.
we love you.

btw, getting the average joes at each other's throats is the whole point of the matter. if we're hating and killing each other we won't notice that the bastards who make up the elite are picking the pockets of ALL of us, regardless of race, creed, etc. it's not the average schmuck on the street that's trying to stir up xenophobia against immigrants, after all.

You are a wonderful person Ras and i for one have no doubt in the world that you will make a great contribution to what and where ever you find your self, hell come to montana, its wild and rugged and plenty of happy fools to play with. life ain't to serious here as of now, i live on a million acre reservation and there is plenty of opportunity to dig in here, right here in this little village there are many hippy types that are seriously into permaculture and are developing systems for survival in the coming holocaust.

From Belgium,

Hi, Anonymus 4.58. Well you came in just at the right time to provide the light relief, just like the ice cream lady walking to the front of the cinema before the main feature starts.
At first I thought you might be agency acting as agent provocateur but you make too many mistakes even for them.
So let us see what you have to say for yourself, shall we?
The first thing that springs to mind is that you haven’t substantiated a single one of your arguments. If you make a point then you have to say why you believe that point is valid. What you have done is to rely on dogma and as we all know, dogma exists as a crutch to fall back on for people who have run out of arguments.
“As usual it’s hate America first – “, Most of the people who contribute here have sworn an oath to uphold the American Constitution NOT to be loyal to any particular president or administration so it is therefore not necessary to support the arbitrary decisions of a binge drinking president who crashes out on the floor and then pisses his pants all over the White House carpets. It is however necessary to uphold the Constitution; to feel a loyalty to your homeland and cohesiveness to American people in general. If you know anything at all about the democracy which your leader wants to bring to the rest of the world then you will realize that this is a safety valve for those who do not agree with the policies of those in power and that alternative viewpoints are encouraged.
“-You Commie Bastard”. Do you know what Communism is or what a communist believes in? If you can explain the bare essentials to me then I will give you some credit points but I suspect, like most people of limited conceptual perception you just learn which side has the white hats and which side has the black hats or you are told which team you have to cheer for without knowing anything of their relative merits and that is good enough for you. But if you don’t know anything else at all, then tell me this, why is it that 80% of Russians love Putin to bits and 80% of Americans have absolutely no regard for Bush (these are the official, make it look better than it really is, polls not the true ones which are being leaked from the White House)?
“President Bush is the best president we’ve ever had”!!!!! Again substantiate your argument. In what way is he the best? If he is the best then that means that none of the others were so good as him? Does this include Madison or Jackson or Jefferson or Eisenhower? If he is the best then you have to say why he is better than all these others using reasoned arguments, not just saying it. America (USA) now has the highest percentage of poverty per capita and the greatest per capita percentage of, officially defined near poverty in the history of the USA. There are record numbers of home repossessions; what began in Flint Michigan is now endemic throughout America. The only real thing he has devoted his presidency to, the war in Iraq, he has lost. Four years after the mission was accomplished, he no longer knows what the mission is and he is being pushed into bombing Iran because he has to do something and he doesn’t know what to do next. That is the main reason he is continually getting shit faced and getting security to clean up the mess after him.
“God bless America”. That is the only thing you have said that I agree with. It really is going to take a higher authority to sort out the mess created in the last six and a half years.
“- and you should move somewhere like Saud (actually Saudi) Arabia (7x!)”. Why there? Is that the best or worst you can come up with? If you want to know the places that are worse to live than there I will provide you with a list. Although I will admit that when the King of Saudi Arabia says “Boo”, Dick Cheney gets on Air Force One within two hours with his finger stuck up his ass.
“I’ve been watching you for a long time and nothing changes-“. I suppose that proves I am consistent. More to the point is have you learned anything from me? I will personally give you $10 for every positive thing you have learned from me whilst you have been doing this watching. By the way, since I was the last one to post a comment, almost three hours, before your contribution I presume that your response was meant for me. Since I always preface my comments with the handle “From Belgium”, I would reasonably guess you would figure out that is where I live. In what part of America do you reckon Belgium is? Or do you think that it should be part of America, like every other country in the world should be part of America?
“-You pathetic asshole”. My dear boy, you really must learn to start substantiating your arguments otherwise your statements will carry no weight and people will begin to walk away from you.

I await your response with anticipation although I do fear I will be waiting a long time.

Ah yes good old Saudi. The Bush family has done very well in and with Saudi for decades and so have the Saudi Prince(s)because they are very well connected to the Bush family such as Prince Bandar or "Bandar Bush" as the Bush family affectionectly calls him.

If you love your country then you might want to pay attention to what's really going on. Try reading. Craig Unger's "House of Bush, House of Saud. It has a photo on the front of George Bush Jr., your president, holding hands with the Saudi King. Actual Photo. But it's not the photo that proves the love, it's the billions of dollars involved which changes hands when you've got friends in high places.

Perhaps some of those Saudi Princes could get their duffs out of their Rolls Royces and get over to Iraq and defend their brothers?

Yo!

Like, there's some really awesome prose being typed out here lately -except for A 4:58 -geez, what a "Faux" News dick-weed. Oh, and by the way, Saudi Arabia sucks because WE, "Corporate" America props-up the corrupt House of Saud to inforce the strictest form of Islam on the planet. WE help their Monarchy stay in power -for their cheap OIL!! And, riddle me this, A 4:58, does this god bless other countries? -or just Amurkia? And if this god only blesses Amurkia, how come?

You know, maybe "The Matrix" is real. I mean, that's what this life feels like -like the only reason for my existance is to work, consume, work, consume, work, -oh, and once I can't work anymore, the PTB would like me to hurry up and die. It's one of the reasons I'm not all that upset if the whole crap-shoot falls apart. It would mean the end of "The Matrix." But then, "Mad Max" might take it's place, so things might get to REALLY sucking. You can probably tell, I'm sorta into movies, eh?

Ok, have a few question for one and all. T'was thinking about getting out of Mormon HQ and into southern OR (saw some land on the internet that looks nice) near Applegate/Phoenix/Ashland/Grants Pass. But, I believe I remember Murph, in a past posting, wrote a few cautionary paragraphs of advice for those of us who might be thinking on escaping the cities in search of places that would adhear to a better self-sustainabilty lifestyle when the SHTF. And, I've seen "Deliverance" a few times, so I'm a little leary as to "going coutry," eventhough it looks like a good deal and near a few cool towns.

I just gotta get outta Dodge -don't know if any of you've heard about the 70 year-old woman who lives in Orem, UT, not far from me, who, because she couldn't afford the water bill thus causing her grass to die, was pretty much beat-up and arrested by a city cop. Geez, police state, here we come! And Dick/Bush are allowed to lie, cheat, steal, invade and commit mass murder with impunity! STOP THE WORLD, I WANT TO GET OFF!!!

montana freeman and the others spoke fairly I think to the angry visitor. It was nice I thought to consider this upset person a brother and they are (sister brother even if they don't know it). Ignorance is bliss I guess for some. I posted the Saudi stuff because it was relevant to the suggestion of going there. Many Americans actually work there. Silly suggestion.

To the angry anon I say, if you truly think we hate America...you are sorely mistaken. We love our country and that is why we're here because we want to save it. And any true patriot who sees the billions of dollars going missing has to wonder what is going on when our OWN COUNTRY is turning into a toilet of homeless beggers? The issues are more about money than who's the best or not. How long can you be duped while our young men and women who give their lives in battle and come home mamed and missing limbs are being ignored and forgotten. A true American questions those of power and questions authority; our country was founded on it. May you go and find peace in learning the truths of many things hidden and know that we who gather here love our country.

Yo Dude,

We are located in central Oregon, close to Bend area at about 4200 ft. elevation. This is high desert country.

South of here close to the CA border is nice, no argument. As far as I know there isn't 'Deliverence" kind of in breeding there. What I was making a cautionary statement about is to consider the type of location you think you can best adapt to. No matter what, country living is not anything like urban or suburban living. We have to drive 30 miles to get to anykind of big box store with lots of those Chinese made goodies to buy.

We are living in an area that has a mixture of the old timers that have lived here all their lives and the imports like us. I seem to get along pretty good with the old timers, but many of the imports don't. We know some people that couldn't stand it and moved out because of the 'provincial' attitudes of the natives on the area. The closest city is about 80,000 and a good percentage of them have nothing but contempt for the area we live in, you know, the tobacco chewin spittin gun toting redneck hillbillys stereotype. My kind of people I guess.

If you want to understand a bit more, read Joe Bagaent's new book, 'Deer Hunting With Jesus'. Give you some insight about living among the unwashed.

I'm going to be curious how Mrs. P sees that book. How about it Mrs P?

Dude, you got to understand that it is a whole different way of looking at how to live in a lot of aspects. If you have never been in that kind of environment before, it will be a bit of culture shock for sure. However, this environment has a pretty good chance of getting through bad times, hell that's about all they have ever experienced. Pretty practical people.

unquestioning rage.

How about this neat idea,
The farm that I get my raw milk from doesn't actually "sell" the milk to us because it's illegal to sell raw milk in Wisconsin. What we do is sign a contract stating that we own a share in the cows. The money that we "pay" to the farmers is to cover the cost of taking care of the cows in which we own stock in. We don't pay per gallon, because that would be illegal. We pay a flat rate and can come and fill up anytime we need from a refrigerated holding tank that's fresh from the free-range, grass-fed, organically raised cows. I absolutely love raw milk!

Yo, Dude!
Central Oregon (where we are) is 'way different from the Ashland area. That's much more expensive and sophisticated. And, you can grow stuff a lot easier and the weather is milder. Great area, actually. Good college, has a Shakesperian festival each year, etc. Just about perfect weather and the coast is just a little ways away. If I had the money, I'd be there already. If the real estate crash continues, it might be more affordable real soon. Most towns have a website - check them out! That's how we got our place. I think you might really like Oregon.
Oh, and if the troll is still here - I apologize for the vitriol. I sometimes get a little cranky. Sometimes you just need to say some dumbass thing, and then once you express yourself and think about it awhile, you change your mind.

Wisconsin,
Great idea with the cows. We've been trading a lot, and gifting. I'll give somebody a dozen eggs, and then they'll give me some cookies or some rhubarb or something. Murph will help out a guy doing some chore, and he'll give us a cord of wood. Or, somebody will help Murph fix the boat motor, and we'll give him some old albums or something that he collects. Baking pies, making bread, home-grown salad greens, all sorts of things have been exchanged for home-canned tuna, frozen halibut, etc. etc. The more you do it, the more possibilities show up. It's very cool. It helps to develop a sense of abundance that is not based on money.

Hello murph, hello everyone. I'm almost done reading Deer Hunting with Jesus. Wow! The first night I couldn't put it down. I started at about 10 and went til 1:30 am. It all keeps me up at night. I'm on the second to last chapter. It has gone by so quick. Even though I was born a navy brat on a pacific island and raised in So. California since age 2 where i've been all my life I comletely identified with much of what is in Deer Hunting with Jesus. My father was born in Wheeling so it wasn't all that foreign to me. I may be more accepting of others ways since my parents raised me to be. They used to say "You have to be taught to hate because little children aren't born hating...it has to be drummed into your dear little head from the time you are 5 or 6." They played me the song from the Rogers & Hammerstein musical. I think it was Flower Drum Song or South Pacific but anyway...Mr. Bageant writes in such a way that the words just flew off the pages into my head and heart. You can't help but be there with him...every butt scratchin' moment of it. I can hardly wait to get back to the book. Reading it is like traveling; he takes you there. I have a new post where I mention the book. It's called Great Expectations.

I've traveled through Bend a few times it is another world free of the clutter we have here. I could see it would take planning and thought to do without all the "convenience" we have here. But even here we don't go running to the store every 5 minutes. Who wants a 7-11 mini mart in their nieghborhood anyway? A tech at our dentist office who has horses here has bought herself a home and acreage up there near Bend so when she retires she can get away from the rat race here. She'd better do it soon! I love the trading you guys speak of. We try to do that here. What a great way for people to connect and be self sufficient by trading and giving.

Waiting For The Signal

These pages that bring us together
are the fire in the cave above the stream,
a dream we move in and out of, faceless,
expendable, waiting for a burst of wings
to spill our pooled bones like coins
over the chilled and silent ground
we fell in love with so long ago,
singing the green hills homeward
under that shovel-shouldered sun.

Fatigue works grim the stone of souls.
No talk is needed to believe the bleeding
will be ours all too soon. Needled dust,
that settled itself in naive lungs, cuts
with each rasp, yet the bleeding
won't be stemmed. Quick, black tongues
flick from windows, floors below pancaking
slabs, and the Street slumps with peanuts
beside its beer, locked on the game.

In our rush of voices a stream curses
the murmur of pines. In our names,
what we begged for never to be done,
is done with no shame. And the day
drags its blindered self to toil. Night trades
whiskey pete for oil, while down slope,
death-drummer birds with blazing eyes
ascend the holy crags to kill dissent
before we waking innocent arise.

At 5:11 this morning (11:11 GMT) Rockpicker and I were part of a greater whole, a concentrated gathering of souls, to "fire the grid" with love and thankfulness for the people and the things in our lives that bring us joy. It was an effort to infuse our world with a positive energy so strong, a healing energy, a hug that could be felt around the world (like when a dear one holds you when you are sad), that would begin to point our thoughts and behaviors in a powerfully good direction.

I am one among you in this circle, even though I rarely comment, and I find friendship, wisdom, insight, humor and love as I read the words you all share here. You who gather here already know the strength available to us through our caring for each other, and I find great power here, deeply rooted in the essence of love, as we struggle to understand and overcome those that try to destroy us and the promise of a much more ethical world. Thank you all.

Here is an old (reprinted) White House leak from Aug 2004 which addresses Bushes state of mental health and methods of dealing with civilian unrest. One interesting remark is that Powell is being kept in the dark about certain things and if he (Powell) knew of them then the author is sure he would resign which is in fact what he did right after the 2004 elections.

From Belgium,

I thought that the timing of the information in the above comment was interesting but curious. Now I realize that I read the articles out of order.

As the current administration and presidency draws into its final stages there are certain even more disquieting Middle Eastern events which could spark civil repercussions in the USA. The Bush administration is taking such possibilities seriously and planning ‘practical’ (as opposed to theoretical) measures to maintain continuity of government.

Such Middle Eastern events could include (personal list);

• After a four year war costing trillions of dollars and the lives of thousands of American Servicemen and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis the greatest military in the world controls one third of one city.
• Bush is reported to be ‘dissembling’ before the Cheney onslaught and is now ‘deciding’ for the veep and against Rice and Gates to take military action against Iran before the end of his term.
• He could be the only American president in history to loose two wars and two fleets during his term.
• USA has 155,000 troops in Iraq. Turkey is reported to be ready to invade the Northern Kurdish part if Iraq with variously estimated between 140,000 – 200,000 troops including heavy equipment.
• The Kurds are providing infrastructure for oil assets which will supply oil to Israel.
• Israel could retaliate against Turkey or Iran
• If Iran is targeted it will retaliate against Israel.
• USA is militarily too stretched to defend Israel except by the use of nuclear weapons.
• The rolls Pakistan and India may take is open to conjecture.
• Russia and China may defend Iran in accordance with their SCO obligations.
• Civil unrest within the United States is a real possibility that the Bush Administration are taking seriously.

With this last possibility in mind, a leaked report from Iraq states the following:

Because of “growing popular unrest in the United States, caused by the prolonged war in Iraq .coupled with obvious Congressional inaction,” the U.S. military has drawn up plans for combating domestic U.S. civil insurrections. This is not a theoretical study but a very specific one. Units to be used domestically are listed in detail as are detention centers, etc.

As a result of this, plans are now in train to segregate, retrain and reequip certain anti-insurgent U.S. military units now serving in Iraq and to prepare them for quick transfer back to the United States for use "as needed". The Pentagon command believes that such civil insurrections are not only a possibility but a very real probability in the event that the President and his advisors maintain their present course vis a vis the Iraqi war.

http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=6875

It is extremely interesting that there is no plan to modify the present course of events and the likelihood of Joe and Josephine leaving their couch is being taken very seriously.

Belgium;

Good job. I was going to ask you if you'd seen that report from the Green Zone.

Alternet's got a video of Pelosi, Durbin, Reid, Patty Murray, an Iraq vet turned sen. from Pa., Murphy, et al, telling America they are finally ready to shoulder their responsibilities and "end this madness."

It's about fucking time.

Better lock and load, folks. I think we're about to see some fireworks, either here or abroad.

May the "real" powers that be, be with us all. May we keep in touch through this medium until it goes down, and after that, through our newly acquired gift of telepathy.

We are not alone.

No matter how dark it gets, keep your eyes focused on the spark
each has been asked to safeguard.

May we find each other strong
in our resolve, but limber
with compassion.

May we find wisdom in solidarity.

I love you all.

What it discovers is that the commercial airliners that hit the towers had no windows; each plane had a non-commercially standard pod underneath the fuselage and there was a detonation from the nose of each aircraft BEFORE impact.

If the link doesn’t work go to The Truth Seeker site and it is referenced in the third group of 12 articles below the big photo which divides the current articles from the archives. If you really can’t get it to work I will press ahead with my saved copy.

Palooka,

I do not have a personal source of info, I wish I did. All of what I comment on is derived from the web. We all have our personal favourite sites, I have dozens and dozens bookmarked but I always tend to hit The Truth Seeker first, I like the layout of the site and their articles are always relevant. Here are a couple which give some information for the list I made in my last comment.

Cheney pushes Bush to act on Iran.
http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=6869

If you will make do with a personal opinion on a new Israel / Lebanon conflict this summer I think it is possible but unlikely. Although Israel desperately wants to push its borders at least up to the Latina (?) River the war itself was a proxy between Iran using Russian and Chinese missiles supplied to Hezbollah and the keeper of the keys to democracy supplying Israel. If any other events such as Turkey or Iran come off this year then Israel will be too preoccupied in the East and will not want to fight a war on two fronts. Incidentally on this particular conflict, Olmet is rewriting history and claiming it as a great success for Israel. He should at least wait long enough for memories to fade. Personally I think Mallaki is having more success over Bush.

Freeacre,

Yes, I forgot to mention that things are going sour at home. Thanks.

Surprisingly I do watch other stuff apart from politic. Recently I saw a nature / sea life program about the Baja California and what I didn’t realize was that the geological event which caused the Gulf of California to open up is an extension of the San Andréa’s Fault. I don’t know why I didn’t think about it before. If Yellowstone goes off combined with an earthquake around San Francisco then these could be the two events which could give rise to Rockpickers premonition of part of the USA floating off into the Pacific.

I was reading on the Project Camelot site last night, (while waiting to change the irrigation water,) about the "Dark Star", or second Sun, that approaches our corner of the heavens on a periodic basis, and causes all sorts of havoc in so doing.

Can anyone comment on this?

Belgium;

I don't remember that particular premonition. O'Finioan, on P.C., did have a vision of such an event. He saw a river of fire moving from north to south across the continental U.S.

Freeacre;

Where are you getting your news on the economy? Not that I doubt what you say is true, I'd just like to be able to reference it myself. Never really paid close attention to economic news, as it always seemed so boring.

Still plugging away at Rubicon. What an excellent read, especially for background and perspective.

Belgium, again;
The first time I saw In Plane Site, I could swear there was a segment concerning the Pinnochio's Nose event, where a Fox cameraman in Fox helicopter 5 "shot" footage of the second attack from a long distance away. Tried to find it to show friends and I can't seem to locate it. I did find a site put up by Ace Baker, though, that deals very specifically with this footage.

On the tape, which Fox News showed once, and which was rebroadcast by CNN, the nose of the second plane very clearly exits the left side of WTC2 just before exploding and shot fades to black. Apparently, among serious 9/11 researchers, this footage is famous and has been debated extensively. Baker claims it is one prime example of clumsy computer generated imagery, and that he believes there were no planes at all involved with the September attacks, but that we out in tv land were fed somewhat clever imagery that, under close scrutiny, leaves more questions than it answers.

Rockpicker, et al,
For my financial info, I go to Kitco.com for the latest on gold, The Independence Journal for projections and financial news that is somewhat "out there" due to him taking seriously Halfpasthuman's webot methods,The Daily Reckoning, and the assorted financial sites linked from Lifeaftertheoilcrash. If you go to halfpasthuman and read the essays on future disaster scenarios, I think that the dark sun info is there. I can't remember exactly, but it's that, and worse, I think...
To keep from blowing my brains out, I turn to The Farmgirls Journal and the Hencam to mellow out - also National Geographic News and the Trothweb. We are a wild bunch, aren't we?
I just wrote a scathing letter to Alternet, by the way. There is a really offensive essay regarding "conspiracy theories" that is really offensive. I think I am going to stop wasting my time there. I am very sick of liberals who seem to have no sense of liberty.
oh, I go to your sites, too, Belgium, (truthseeker and rense.com )and have begun to hit reddit.com for general stuff.

Off subject here but 3 Journalists from Reuters were murdered last week in Iraq by the U.S. military. Democracy Now did a segment of their show today about two other journalists from Al Jezeera, being held in U.S. prison for a total of 6 years without being charged with anything. You can get see the story and get the links at http://www.momsreallymad.blogspot

I made my post for today about this because it's another clear sign of the Third Reich, in my opinion. I also uploaded their brown skin photos to my post.

Hey all, I have a secret love of Bruce Willis movies (don't tell anyone, lol). I finally got to see the new Die Hard today -I recommend it. It's unbelievable as always, but a good flick, and its amazing to see how much of a thread our 'non-negotiable way of life' hangs on brought to life.

holy yumpin yipers!! you're on to half past human? i just listend to a 3 hour interview with cliff last week! amazing man and absolutely amazing work he's doing!! i luv his ethics and i like that he presents his stuff for "entertainment" purpose and calls himself a wingnut so anybody so inclined he's already beat to the punch. 'course there are much wiser, discretionary reasons for it.

folks, this is a guy who uses a bank of old computers stuck in his closet that send spiders out to read hundreds of thousands of chat rooms, newsgroups, blogs, ezines, websites, and so on. hell, they're probably reading us. they look for key words and then read back 2054 words and forward 2054. the key words are specific to "negative" emotional content. you know, that nasty ole rage and terror stuff. all this is done as a "run" over a period of time.

some of the stuff he was being intentionally obtuse about so you had to try to read between the lines. his "entities" (one of 'ems named igor) "analyze" the data all the while looking for these changes or shifts in the "tone" of the collective as an energy or collection of energies building or releasing.

to put it another way, he's monitoring the emotional mass consciousness which he describes as moving along on a wave. and he's identifying shifts in the tones of the words people use in their conversations as they communicate back and forth over time.

the whole thing is a big fat chunk of evidence that we create our own future and he's out on the leading edge of the wave with a microscope.

i'm inclined to agree he's reading a huge sampling of mass consciousness but i'm more inclined to suspect he's tuning in even moreso on the collective subconscious.

he recognizes its got its flaws and its strong points but he's been dead on about alot of things as a perdictor.

he's sez we are currently in a massive reving up and the release will come around the equinox. sept 19 give or take... p

Hey p...thank you for the link on the geo guy...I will check it out! It's stupid he got fired. Just as I suspected there were significant shakers on the days kitty was opening cupboards and drawers trying to hide. We're in Southern California and there was a 6 point somtething up in the Allusions,(sp), off Alaska a few days ago, a 2 point something in Indio, CA and a 4.2 in San Francisco / Oakland area this morning around 4:40 - 4:45 a.m. No wonder kitty has been a real monkey for a few days including last night and this morning. I wouldn't be surprised if we had a few shakers down here in a few days. April is earthquake prepardedness month but I don't think too many people in CA are prepared for a big one which could come any day now. If the San Andreas moves / shifts we're toast!

Anon, Belgium, thank you for visiting me I left you a message. You always see through things.

murph, likewise for you I left you a message too. Thank you. Did you feel the 4.2 in Oakland up there?

A tiny ant just crawled up the screen of my monitor real fast, whoa how did he get in here? Must be a sign / message.

At 9:55 PM, Blogger mrs p said...

Seriously I was joking about the ant but the kitty is still acting spooked. He's hiding under the bed at the moment and he never does that unless a stranger comes around. I've seen him do these things before when there's been tremors off the coast. I hope the big one isn't coming. They say it's best to lay flat next to something strong where falling timbers or walls form a triangle rather than get under something. The rescue guys who've been to collapsed buildings say people survive when they're laying flat on the ground next to things like beds and tables instead of getting under them. Seems odd but it works i guess. I just hope I don't have to find out.

Friends, if I needed any more proof that we live in a fascist dictatorship, I got it last night.

My best friend and her daughter had a nasty car accident. Somehow they survived without major injuries but they were taken in to the hospital anyway. I got the call to come in to the hospital because I'm the closest thing they have to family in town right now. (Her husband, btw, is dodging car bombs somewhere in Iraq.) They had their 10 day old orphaned kitten with them at the time. This kitten was "orphaned" by someone who put her into a plastic bag, filled it with motor oil, and threw her into the garbage. My friend found her at the dump, barely alive. Her name is Milrago (Miracle) for obvious reasons.

I get to the hospital and I'm freaking out because I don't know how my friends are. They won't let me park at the ER because I'm not a patient or bringing a patient. So I have to park in the parking deck and walk several blocks. I get to the ER and try to find out how they're doing. They were both being checked out and wanted me to take the kitten until they got through. (My friend, true to form, refused to leave the kitten in the car and brought her in the ambulance with them.) Fine, no problem.

The staff brings the kitten out to me, hands her and bag of her stuff over. I stuff aside and try to look her over to make sure she's okay. She's only 10 days old and isn't real strong or mobile, and she clung to my shirt for all she was worth. The cop who had been sitting behind the desk and had seen all this, and the ER manager come over to me. The ER manager alone is twice my size, though he'd seen way too many cheeseburgers in his day. (I'm 5'1" in shoes and weigh less than the average german shepherd.) The cop is a big burly skinhead MEMBER OF THE SWAT TEAM. The manager of the ER informs in no uncertain terms that I have to get that "thing" out of the hospital and off the premises, right now, or Mr. Skinhead will have to arrest me.

Um, excuse me? No, I am not joking. I had to bring the kitten home and wait for them to call me to find out how my friend and her daughter was. Yes, I am a real dangerous criminal type aren't I? Dangerous enough that they had to have someone from the SWAT team threaten to arrest me. They also threatened to arrest the woman next to me, after she spoke up to them.

A**holes.

Good grief, ras. You should write this up and send it to the hospital administrator with a copy for Letters to the Editor of your local paper. Officious, bullying cops ARE one of the aspects of a fascist/police state. Very true. What a bummer.

Some people get a uniform and go nuts with the little bit of authority they have; it goes to their heads and the first chance they get to exercise their own pent up frustrations, there you are receiving hell for nothing. Nice PR that hospital has, so much for serving humanity. How's the kitten BTW? Okay I hope. The world is so brutal. Those guys probaly had very small...well you know.

mrs p.... yes, the 6+ in the aleutians was in the fox island area and part of a swarm that has slowed considerably but still going. and that 6 was a part of of a series of 6's scattered around the circle of fire including the 2 off the coast of japan which include the one that caused so much damage at the world's biggest nuclear power plant. information is slow in coming but every time we hear more the news gets worse. instead of a few waste barrels tipping over knocking their lids loose and spilling their contents the wording now is a few DOZEN. and now i hear the country is on alert to brown outs and black outs.

the fox island thing is the 3rd swarm in recent weeks. swarms of this magnitude and number of events are common but not that common. i wrote about the one in hawaii. the other was in the virgin islands. both areas are still experiencing activity.

2 more 6's in pan am yesterday. 5 in the 5's off north coast of new guinea today.

the energy is always building up until it releases so it can be argued that its normal and a good thing when it happens. one thing to give us pause is when we see that activity behaving abnormally.

we even had one in georgia near the savanah river thursday. it was only a 2.7 but that makes the map and we seldom make the map.

Stoney’s back with a bang, we have been missing you and your rants. Well fucking said, but I don’t think Anon 4.58 is around any more. He has probably crawled back into his hole or Bubba”s with the rest of the polyps.

The idea of using server meta-spiders to asses word type usage for an insight into blogger intellect is interesting but in a similar way that going out for a meal or a bit of retail therapy can bring you perilously close to not making month end, an invasion of the Trolls can really screw your batting average.

Mrs P and the ant on the screen. I have just been scraping cookie crumbs off the plastic laminated map of the world that sits underneath my keyboard. One persistent one would not move even with the thumbnail treatment and I have just realized it is Hawaii so I have decided to leave it where it is for the time being ;-)

RP.
Yes it was O’ Finioan who made that prediction; maybe it is because I got Camelot from you I made a false connection although I thought you once said something about Yellowstone.
I followed those links you put up and they were amazing. It gets more like Alice every day. If there were not any airplanes then what caused the holes in the side of the buildings because they looked real enough? There was naturally enough, more footage of the second hit so do you think that this tower was brought down first to get rid of too much inadvertent media attention? Again it comes down to the Qui Bono question; who benefits from the disinformation. I think I am going to have more to say on this subject later when I have sorted my brains out.

By the way does satellite work as well as DSL? Have been thinking of this as an alternative to the $48 it costs me now per month and they monitor your shit whenever it suits um.
Personally i could care less except getting shut down would really piss me off.

Don't know if you heard or not but i'm running for city council and already people on the street are coming up to me and telling me i have their vote!! Holy bat shit, this might really be fun, never realized that people look up to you just because you might have some kind of influence in the scheme of things to set things right! And there are plenty of things that the corrupted fucks that run things here can at least be aired.
Its like the little govs.that appear like nasty mushrooms (not the good ones, yummy) are a microcosm or the bullshit that goes on in Washington D.C.
Weird huh?
Man i love the way this council is attracting so much enthusiasm and differences of the way things look, and shared for us to look at also.
Thank you one and all, what a great bunch of outlaws that have collected here in the cave above the stream as Rockpicker so elegantly puts it.
The new gals are a very welcome addition as their influence seems to make the room a little more comfortable without the hunting dogs laying all over the fucking place being tripped over and leaving fleas embedded in the rugs.
Hope every ones summer is at least somewhat of a nature that remembering it will bring a few permanent laughs of joy,and a gratefulness that the Spirit that empowers us is one of peace and love for one another.
Again, WELCOME HOME STONEY!!Love to your beautiful family also.

From Belgium,

RP,

I forgot to add last night that I am extremely sceptical about Henry Deacon character. There is something about him that just doesn’t feel right. If Pluto which as been described as not so much of a planet, more of a giant snowball, was predicted by inbalances in angular momentum within the solar system and then astronomers went out and found it, then how come they missed something the size of Jupiter and the mass of the Sun? However it could explain the extinction of the dinosaurs and the 2012 stuff. I still find this one a bit hard to take. What is your view?
