BUSH AS DICTATOR from Murph

Folks, we better start paying attention to what is happening. In the last post, I included a paragraph asking if you have looked at the latest law Bush signed. This post is concerning that law. This is going to be a short post because all I can do is warn you about this and encourage you to get ready. The full force of the law of the land is coming at us full speed ahead now.

This law is called; National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive. It can be read in its entirety except for some secrete directive at

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/05/20070509-12.html

And by the way, there is a secrete part to the document that is not included in the posted law. Sure would like to see what that contains. It is called Annex A.

Folks, this document allows Bush to declare absolute unconditional dictatorial powers for whatever reason he deems necessary, including events that take place outside of the United States. Nothing about this has been put into the media and it was signed on the 9th over 20 days ago.

Since there is good reason to believe that in the next election, there will be at least some kind of change in the government that may not include the neocon agenda, what do you think this law is a prelude to?

Here is the purpose of the bill.

Purpose

(1) This directive establishes a comprehensive national policy on the continuity of Federal Government structures and operations and a single National Continuity Coordinator responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of Federal continuity policies..... 6) The President shall lead the activities of the Federal Government for ensuring constitutional government. In order to advise and assist the President in that function, the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism (APHS/CT) is hereby designated as the National Continuity Coordinator.

-- "Catastrophic Emergency" means any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions;

Do you understand the full meaning of the last paragraph?

This has been allowed to happen by the population of this country. We are getting exactly what we deserve from the way we vote and the way we think. Even if the word gets out about this law, it probably is too late to do anything about it. He now has the legal authority to suppress any dissention over it anyway. The Democrat majority is not objecting to it either, at least publicly, which indicates to me that they are all woosys or they agree with it. In either case, we are, in the words of Cyclone, burned toast.

I absolutely expect to see dissent over this law to begin to be quashed very soon, even though you are not seeing much said about it right now. This site may be censured, who knows what they are going to do now. You can see one article about it here;

http://newsforreal.com/ You might also want to see the second article at this site. I could understand that after Katrina that some reorganization of government agencies dealing with catastrophic events was needed. But this far surpasses anything like that.

Get ready folks. This is indeed serious stuff happening now. Good luck.

Goddam it Murph i was having such a good day to,well all i can say about this is,... that it was nice knowing all of you, and i'm trying to get my lips close enough to my ass to give it a big kiss... fuck, should have stuck to my diet, now i can't even do that simple adios gesture.
Will call butts are us for assistance i guess, anyone know their 800 number?
Seriously now, what can happen to a rainbow once its colors fade and the only light shining is US'UNS.?
We are the answer my brother Murph, we shine on and on and on, no matter where the rest of the insanity goes, we shall smile the smile that bends steel and we will fly higher then the eagles fly and we will join one another in the dance that the Spirit has given us so freely.
Despair is for the ones that refuse to see this simple truth, that we are Sacred beings and as such inherit all the Spirit given love that this planet craves but cannot receive, so wings of mine, and wings of yours, lets gather together and fly away.
Sing my brothers, sing my sisters, it is up to us to sing our songs for those that can hear, and those that cannot hear take heart, your time will come soon one way or another.
my new ally , Cadence, sets under my window in the rain and sings for us,he is the dream brother of Langosta and is rhyhm, and intones the message of life and love so intense,it makes my hair stand on end and curly in the rain.

Let us love together,in this moment of which our minds are one, can you feel this, its so strong, and so beautiful.

Peace and Great Spirit your abundance reaches us.We are yours.

Oh my Montana,

I am sorry for disrupting the harmony of you life. I have been looking at this item in bits a pieces and Steve Pizzo sorta clobered my on the head with it. I thought it important enough to put out the word, now. This is the kind of stuff that prompts the kissing of the ass goodbye and disturbs me much.

Again I appolgize for doing it on such a beautiful day.

What would we do, Montana, without your heart and song? And, Cadence has shown up to lend his voice to yours. We are blessed in this goofy, and yet powerful community. You give us strength and courage.

I got an e-mail message from John Edwards to stand up against the war and for the troops this Memorial Day. He says, since the congress won't do it, the people will have to. Well, maybe another ceremonial Memorial Day (or evening) bonfire is in order. Drum for peace. Drum for freedom. Dance around the fire. Put it out there. Gotta start somewhere.

From Belgium,

Canada, it seems is between a rock and a hard place over its official stance on the Iraq war. This has been brought into sharp focus because many deserters from this war are seeking refugee status there. Privately, many of Canada’s leaders take the view that the Iraq war is illegal and in fact it is quite virtuous to refuse to do something that is illegal. On the other hand they do not want to invoke the wrath of the sleeping giant to the south. This is particularly true at a time when cooperation between their countries is more necessary than ever over the American Super Highway, a project which seems to me to be bigger than the desires of any of the participant countries. Relations will continue as normal whilst Canada does not state an official position on the deserters. With the US so desperate for combatants, applications for conscientious objector status are routinely refused. In order to escape deportation from Canada, soldiers have applied for official refugee status, which will force Canada to adopt an official position on the war. How this will play out is not certain. At this stage the lower court has refused their applications but this could be a case of not being seen to give in too easily. Appeals are now possible to a High Court and then a Supreme Court. We shall see how this develops.

Here is a video describing the soldiers’ stories.

http://novakeo.com/?p=914

In relation to this post, what about you guys applying for refugee status on the reservation. If it is outside US law for gambling purposes it is also outside the US law for all other purposes. There again try explaining this legal nicety to thousands of black clad storm troopers all beating their riot shields with truncheons.

From Belgium,

Here is a nice little circular argument. First through incompetence you fuck the economy, so badly we are told that it will take many generations to get it back to a line of zeros. Then you give yourself dictatorial powers for any incident, regardless of location that severely affects the economy.

Yep, got that one!

Here is a new hypothesis for you to consider.

“The weight of the law is inversely proportional to the size of the crime”.

What da ya think?

The Secretary of Homeland Security shall coordinate the integration of Federal continuity plans and operations with State, local, territorial, and “tribal” governments, and private sector owners and operators of critical infrastructure, as appropriate, in order to provide for the delivery of essential services during an emergency.”

Well they got that base covered, I should have read it before I opened my mouth.

No matter what happens the love i feel for my brothers and sisters is a love that transcends all that is corrupt on this earth.
i might die for following such a seemingly lowly set of words, but it makes no difference because if that is reality then this rainbow will just fade away, and will be no more, except within the arms of Mother Earth.
We say what will awaken the squashed and defeated minds of this land that we love so much, that has been so disfigured, the guns and swords that have turned our shiny faces into old wrinkled vicious images of a life spent in killing our young ones, and destroying the very essence of life itself?
At this moment we are the end product of human evolution, we are the result of millions and millions of years of suffering and pain being inflected upon others and most astonishingly, upon our selfs.
What will it take for this self mutilation to end,? can it end with out the death of the entire species of two leggeds,? it would seem not within the perimeter of such lost souls to bring a halt to what we have become.
Have we become or have we always been nothing more then receptacles for hatred and destruction.?
How is one to know the difference.?
Is there a difference between love and hate,? are they simply two sides of the same coin.? i do not think so,i think that love is something entirely different, and you say how different,? and it is said that love has nothing to do with hate, that hate has no place in the presence of that thing called love, that it simply does not exist.
How far fetched can such a thought be he said and he answered,....?
Cadence smiles at us you know.

i think that the bond of love that has formed at this council fire may not of formed at all, i think it was always there, that we brought it with us when we entered this long house, and the sure knowledge that we have always known each other, and that this meeting is a renewal of something that was formed long ago, and somehow we have transcended the boundaries of time, and are faced once again with the need to allow that which we always were to flow into our fellow brothers and sisters through our actions and possible sacrifices.

Is all violence a misguided sense of self-defence?

Murph,

Scary shit, man! Scary shit indeed! And I don't scare easy! I discovered a long time ago that on the other side of fear is a place where the true potential of a man or woman can be found!

Courage isn't denying fear! It isn't overcoming fear! It's about USING the fear inside yourself to open the true link to your fighting spirit! THAT is what makes a great warrior! And I'm a warrior, not a worrier!

Let them come! Let them bring whatever! I will use my fear! I will face them in the manner I choose! I will meet them on the terms I decide! I will fight them in the way that I fight! And if on that day, my life is the price of my victory, then it will be a good day to die! And I WILL die well!

I think this is the prelude to something big. I get these feelings sometimes. Recently, about 2 wks ago, (around the 9th?), there was a big practice mock nuke emergency exercise thing in San Diego County. It was announced on a local TV station that "all levels of Homeland Security, law enforcement, military, etc." would be participating in the exercise. I wonder if that included Blackwater? It had a name, of course. Operation Nuke Us--Can't remember what hokey name they gave it. It was to be a "West Coast 9/11" with a nuclear twist according to KUSI, channel 51 news. For 2 or 3 days it went on and the skies over our house were filled with those huge, loud, green choppers and others. Plus a lot of boom-boom howletzers (sp?) up in Camp Pendleton. Back and forth they went, north & south all day long. A few very large prop transports went over too. I remember looking up and thinking what the hell is that thing doing flying so low, here? They must be planning something. It's all very creepy. I try to focus on other things but it was loud & ugly. I also heard hearsay of some engineers talking of the trickyness of building the 800 underground detention facilities on Link TV.<---this is really creepy. Let's goosestep?

Belgium,

As I read it, this directive is all inclusive, At least from the wording I can't think of something left out. Did you read Steve Pizzos analysis?

Montana,

I really value you too man. It has been an honor to know you as much as I do. As Stoney expressed, make it a good life, and a good death. But, I also have to realize that nothing may come about as I imagine. I can't believe this directory by the President is for any of our good, and can't imagine any other reason he would make it except to take over all of the operation of the government. I hope that sucker comes back as bubble gum stuck on the underside of a toilet seat in an outhouse.

Stoney,

I figured something like this was going to come down the road about 2 years back. Got to admit that the brazeness of it sets me back, and not a word from the media. Scary? Hell yes!! No wonder we have foreign troops stationed here. Watch for the blue helmets. Freeacre and I are putting together a bug out plan, just in case.

Ras,

That exercise you describe sure sounds like a preparation. Yup, this may be the year for the really big shit to come down. Have your kit handy lady, you just might need it big time. As for us all goose stepping along, I am more in tune with Stoneys attitude. Besides, I'm getting to old for goose steps now and I never did think much of it anyway.

The problem I think about is the crying wolf problem. There is so much that can happen at any time , people get fatigued getting ready for it all and give up on it.

Yes we are worn weary from all the fear, shock and awe but...we have to keep on keeping on and maintain as healthy lifestyle as possible, taking care of our daily business and our bodies and our loved ones. My father used to say, never throw in the towel. Crawl if you have to. I wish all of us were wrong about how very sinister these guys are. We can still dream about the democracy that once was (or might have been) but is certainly gone now. But I won't stop believing in the human spirit and the chance that we could evolve out of this deep hoo-haw. If something big happens on the west coast, (probably cheney's idea), doesn't matter who they talk into pulling it off, the masses will buy it on CNN and we will get along the best we can if any of us live from it. It's just a bad movie. If I die at least I won't die dumb. Cary on, hunker down, stay where you are near friends and family because running away won't help you. www.momsreallymad.blogspot.com

From Belgium,

Murph,

Do read the top of the message old boy. The last comment was from Mrs P not Ras, who seems to have disappeared for the time being. The constant waiting for something that doesn’t happen can have a draining effect. That was a little bit of what happened to me about a month or so ago. Even though I should know better, there is a certain bit of me that cannot separate the World Change Game from reality. If I am feeling this when I am trying to keep up with events then it is no wonder the US nation is sitting in the spectator stand.

Any speculation as to what the big event might be?
Let us have a competition. Here is daft idea number 1 to start the ball rolling.

After a six and a half year fuck up the presidential term must end (legally but not necessarily) with some sort of positive outcome, especially since the ‘surge’ is time sensitive and isn’t working anyway.

Malachi gets suicided and the already stretched military cannot contain the resulting chaos from the warlords.
In order to regain control, the USA nukes Baghdad from Turkey.
The CIA discovers sleeper reprisal cells in the USA who despite best efforts manage to commit one or two 9/11 type incidents. This allows the president to declare martial law and round up literally millions of people who intelligence sources have declared suspect and put them into conveniently handy detention camps.
Iraq is administered from the huge US bases but most of the troops are redeployed to Iran who seeing what has just happened to their neighbour, rolls over and says “Please take our oil” (possibly).
There is a standoff with the SCO.
Israel grabs Palestine.
Because of the unstable world situation it is felt necessary to maintain a continuity government back home.
Mission accomplished.

Looked at a ranch property yesterday here on the Reservation and we are attempting to buy same,if this pans out we will make it a sanctuary for you that reside here (the council)to come to if you find it necessary to flee the ensuing holocaust, when and where it happens. i'm easy to find, just come to hot springs and ask someone. The natives here will not go against the whites with good hearts, the whites here will not go against you if they know you, this is not 100% of course but close enough.
You know one of the things is, is that time is running out way faster then most have envisioned and the wonderful shock and awe (what loser bitch made that one up?) we wait for is upon us and our pants are still down, ever tried to run with your pants down,? i have and i'm not particularly proud of it but not to ashamed of it either, young'uns do things you know.
Anyway what i was getting at was that it was only a month or so ago that i had a vision of a nuke going off in Seattle and it scared the shit out of me, not only the fact that i have a daughter, two sons,a daughter in law and new grand daughter (two months old,) that live there,so like you guys here, the future is beginning to slam down upon us in visions and dreams, and just the fact that we listen with a much greater intensity then most people to even the most ordinary and mundane things that happen in our lives, and watch the things that seem slightly out of focus or out of place, its like the birds knowing where to go even if they are enveloped within a cloud, don't you that sit at this circle experience this?

Its like when i watch the cattle that are being rounded up and not to disturbed at this point, loaded into ranchers trailers, not to bad yet, unloaded at collection corrals,...and then it hits them, and hits them pretty hard, then transported to feedlots, hey not to bad, a little crowed, and then herded into smaller corrals and then it really starts to sink in, and then the ramp..happens, the guys jump into the corral with electric cattle prods and start poking them herding them up the ramp head to ass with eyes wide open in fear so loud and strong that it overcomes all else, and then the door opens and the cow in front can do nothing but be shoved through the door by the ones behind being pushed by the electric prods, and as the cow goes through the door the man inside holding a giant hammer supported by a chain(its so big,)hits the cow right between the terrified cows eyes and down it goes, then a big hook comes down from the ceiling attached to a chain and the man hooks the chain to the back leg of the unconscious animal and is hoisted into the air to begin its journey.to our tables.and the gluttonous disposal of a huge steak, never knowing or appreciating the unspeakable agony of the slaughtered relation. i have followed these creatures from inception to the table, and know thereof which i speak . The imbalance and the insensitivity of our existence to this earth and the creatures on it and to the people around us and to our own being is the path we follow, and we are paying mightily for it and the road has just begun.
Whats coming is the mother of all cleanses and god help the ones that do not get the message,
May they enjoy that Mc DONALDS burger, and the carcinogenic frys that accompany it right up to that last and delicious bite.

This message is with the insight of Cadence and the sweet murmuring that issues from within his voice.

We have nothing to fear, and the warriors attending this council, will make sure of that. And you all know who you are of course.

Are we ready? If not, better to get that way. Y rapido i think.

Thank you Murph,Stoney,Spirit Across The Sea, Worlds greatest cookie lady Freeacre, and good to hear from you again MRS P and all of you that are part of this.

The blessings upon is great.

Well, damn! I'm planting my garden and nurturing our little brood of birdies, and watering everything so it will grow... and all the while worrying about Seattle because what city does the IMF and the overlords really hate? Seattle. Home of the wonderful crazies that demonstrate so ably in the streets against them. That's the downside of resistance. Instead of maybe listening to the message, the PTB instead ramp up the power and fear and control and bring the hammer down. If the hard rain falls, we'll be loading up and heading for the Montana Hot Springs, looking like the Beverly Hillbillies with our dog and chickens and tents and tools, etc. Sure hope it doesn't happen that way, though.
It is a pretty night - with the many contrails full of godknowswhat over our house turning pink against the indigo sky. What a world.

You know, maybe we get stuck in a pattern of reaction that just increases and augments fear and loathing of the opposing sides of the neocons vs. the working class, or the pigs vs the freaks, or the suits vs ourselves or however you want to look at it. Maybe what They do increases fear in us, so we escalate and make alternative survival plans, which They look at and they make their own survival plans, and we look at that and freak again and make even more plans, and then they look at that and freak and make even worse plans, etc. etc. and pretty soon, it all gets really crazy and we start looking like the friggin' Irish protestants and catholics or the Sunnis and Shias or some damn body who just walked away from their link to humanity for while.
Not that we should keep our heads in the sands (or up our butts), and not be aware of what is going on, but somewhere in there, we need to keep our senses of humor and keep the door open to people who see things differently from us, who are still decent people.
I mean, one can get seriously bent out of mental shape going from one disaster scenario to the next - political, financial, climactic, oil collapse, asteroid hit, chemtrails, sun spots, Morgellon's disease, Bird Flu, bee die-off, genetic Frankenfoods, magnetic polar flip, galactic drift into the comet zone... on and on. Damn! Pretty soon we could become drooling, crazed Hale Bot comet zombies carefully folding our clothes before drinking the purple Kool-aide, or some twisted fucker walking around with a shotgun down his pant leg.
Well, that's not gonna happen, but you know what I mean. The mental FRINGE is near! And, not just for us. The Washington cabal may have already headed for the fringe, and may be looking at us through binoculars from there. And they are a lot better funded and armed than we are.
Somehow we need to diffuse the land mines, figure out how to resolve even one damn issue that we've been at each others throats over for years and years. Or just become more comfortable with differences of opinion. Learn to "live and let live" so we don't just keep pissing each other off.
Ya know what I mean? I wish within my lifetime we could heal one damn thing and put it behind us. I think, then, it would be easier to hear each other's songs.

From Belgium,

Freeacre,

I feel that I have to reply to this last comment but I have only half formed thoughts, nothing fully worked out so I cannot tell you where the answers lie.

People are different from each other and we must recognize those differences if we don’t want everybody to be clones. Even individuals can show different personality traits to different people. For example I once described a colleague to another colleague as being two faced. This person would tell different people different things for the pleasure of causing animosity. The reply I got was curious to say the least. I was told that, for example, a person may have to wear a business suit and tie for work but come Friday night he may get into leather gear and go cruising with the angels. His biker friends didn’t know about his business life and his colleagues didn’t know about his free time activities but he was showing different faces to different people and this was not necessarily a bad thing. Well that wasn’t what I meant and he damn well knew it, he was just making an irrefutable point.

In the 70’s and 80’s psychiatrists and psychologists felt they were learning more about their subjects and existing ‘diseases’ (conditions) needed to be reclassified. An extensive questionnaire was drawn up which when filled in (out) would highlight certain mental traits according to the new classifications more quickly and accurately than the old fashioned couch therapy. By one means or another, this questionnaire got abroad amongst the public with the result that many people who would not normally thought of themselves as being ‘different’ suddenly found that they had some form of personality disorder and went to a ‘shrink’ demanding to be made normal. It was estimated that half the American population was ‘not normal’. What this questionnaire showed was that peoples’ positive qualities were not sought and that these qualities, which are a part of a person’s individuality, are in fact a good thing. Here again, we are at a difficulty over a word because what does individuality mean. Does it mean some special quality of one person, like we could say Nicola Tesla was an individual or could it refer to the differences between one group and another like the hippies who were all anti establishment but all the same as each other? The Japanese, for example are gregarious as a nation, they do not seem to be able to exist outside groups. Does this mean that they have lost their individuality or have they each considered their position and all individually decided to see things the same way?

The question then becomes how can these individuals become cohesive, with a desire to work within a system that everyone can agree on and what should that system be?

I have read that the American founding fathers never intended their country to become a democracy and the word does not appear anywhere in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, it just happened to flop out that way. I have always lived in a democracy and because I have never known anything different it is hard for me to say. I do know that the system has its faults. It has been described as the right of 51% of the people to piss in the cornflakes of the other 49% or even two wolves and a sheep taking a vote on what to have for their evening meal. The system most of us know is Representative Democracy. The problem with this is that the representative is open to influence or may just plain not agree with what the majority of his constituents want. As we are all familiar, this leads to power, control and dominance of one group over another.

Direct Democracy, seems to stand a better chance of giving the people what they want but the problem here is one of managing numbers or at least it always has been. However, enough people voted for American Idol so the technology exists for government by referenda. The following question is what percentage would be necessary to carry a vote 51%; 67%; 75% or 100%? The higher the required percentage then the stronger but blander must the law be to achieve that level of agreement.

Another form of government which I recently read an impassioned plea for is the Constitutional Republic. This so far as I can gather retains the three familiar branches of government but instead of the Executive Branch being in charge through the will of the people, the Legal Branch is the dominant one which administers the Constitution and new laws. This system, apparently, is a lot more difficult to hijack.

Finally (for now) we come to Anarchism in its true meaning. This is the lack or at least the very minimum of an overhead system. It has been described as when one person is doing the dishes then somebody else will pick up the vacuum cleaner or the ironing board. This is very attractive but seems suited to smaller manageable sized groups. It would for example require the whole of New York to become altruistic and not self seeking! There again the hippies of the 70’s who lived their lives for today but who also wanted the best things for their kids decided to find responsibility and get a mortgage and in so doing became pillars of a democratic society.

Is anybody prepared to take a potshot at the most desirable type of society after this one?

Belgium,

We are back to this subject again. We have been batting this around periodically for over a year now. Going to be difficult to even get a consensus, much less unanimous agreement about it. When I look back at how nations and city states have in the past tried to govern themselves, there always seems to be a tragic flaw, which no matter how good the system was, it changed, and always for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many.

It appears to me that we chose methods of governance by exclusion most of the time. What we don’t like in the old is attempted to be excluded in the new. Thus retaining some aspects of the past systems and making an attempt to exclude the undesirable parts. Obviously, that does not work for the majority of people for very long. Africa and Iraq are good examples of that process.

I further suspect that population density is going to influence methods of governance; sparsely populated areas are not going to do it the same as a megalopolis. In which case, what we are staring down is a big population reduction of the world, and consequent change in governance. I think you know what I have a preference for. Whither that is possible or could ever come to being a practical solution is in probability not likely. The religious minded people think they have it figured out, the social Darwinists think they have the answer. The former are immersed in reactionary dreams of returning to the lords loving arms and the latter having the conviction that the cream of society always rises to the top. Damn but I wish I could predict the future. lol

Tried to find more information about this ownership and have so far failed. I mentioned to you at your site that I am having a tendency to get verification on more stuff after I swallowed a couple of hoaxes. Specifically, I have been hunting for specific information on what is owned in part or whole by the Bin Lauden family and more about thier ties with the Bush family.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother looking at stuff like that. Only serves as structure for agumentative positions, can't really change much about it.

You know, as a voter, I take umbrage at being blamed for all of this. After all, Gore won the 2000 election and Kerry won the 2004 election. In the 2006 election, some Democrats were actually allowed to take their seats in Congress, but they aren't really accomplishing much in the way of change.

I don't know how bad it has to get for people to take to the streets. And I'm not really looking forward to that day, though it's probably inevitable by now.

As far as people taking to the streets is concerned, I'm not looking forward to it either! Humaninty is a heard'like beast, and they will get behind a leader. I doubt if we will be blessed enough to get another Dr. Martin Luther King, or even a Ghandi, so it will most likley be bloody on both sides!

It's nothing I look forward to. I've done enough fighting in my time to not like it very much, but I will make a stand if I have to!

Murh, here's a little bit about the Carlyle...yes it's the past and doesn't matter now but it's representative of how this particular reptile moves. On October 9, 2001, Mike Ruppert published a story in FTW on connections bwtween the Bushes & the bin Ladens; it helped start an uproar that eventually led to the SBC divesting itself from Carlyle. It was significant because the group was a major component of the US defense industry. He also stated in his book, Crossing The Rubicon, pg. 129, that, "most were unaware that on September 11, 2001, as the attacks were taking place, members of the bin Laden family (along with other key investors) were in Washington, DC meeting with the Carlyle,(Bush Sr.)at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, just blocks away from the White House." which he took from the Wall Street Journal, op. cit, September 28-29,2001. There's a whole lot more if you go to the FTW website. He investigates everything and none of his claims have been proven incorrect yet.

Truthseeker has a good speech given by Lee Brown, in 1986, at a convention of indigenous peoples in Tanana Valley, Alaska. It's entitled," Native American Prophecies."

In it, Brown says the Hopis have in their possession stone tablets given to them by the Great Spirit. On these tablets are signs, in metaphor, that the people might watch for and have some small warning of things that would come to pass. Many signs were difficult to envision until after foretold events unfolded.

Three Shakings of the Earth are described during this, the Fourth World. The Third World ended in a deluge. And there is also a Fifth World mentioned, though it will not take place on earth.

The great shakings are interpreted to be world wars. Many signs hearlded these momentous events, and when the signs began to be evidenced, the keepers of this knowledge knew that bad times were coming soon.

So concerned were the keepers of these tablets about mankind's straying off course from what the Great Spirit had instructed men to do, that they have begun talking in English about the third shaking.

They say that when a house is put into the sky, and people begin living in the sky, on a permanent basis, then the time of the Third Shaking will be upon us.

They say this third time, the Great Spirit will use both hands. And they also say that the people who dropped the gourd of ashes will have the gourd of ashes visited upon them, and there will be much suffering and death in that land.

We are in a time of ethics, according to the Mayan calendar. Witness the large number of congressional hearings and all the dirty dealings that this administration has had its fingers in that have come to light in recent weeks. More numerous than the leaves on the trees.

Bush and Cheney are being backed into a corner, and like rabid animals, will probably come out fighting. Expect them to be vicious, with the full support of the military/industrial/banking cabal.

These are mad men operating like loose cannons in dangerous times.

A perceptible change has occurred among the working class in this country. (See the meltdown that took place on The View, courtesy of Alternet's video) No one of any substance believes the lies of the administration anymore. The entire country is against the war and can see how these bastards have ruined us. I feel like we are only a small, catalyzing event away from a great, popular domestic explosion in this country.

If I survive this third shaking of the earth, anarchy, and no bankers, will be my motto.

If it were sunny here today, I would be planting more beds.

Austin,

Taking umbrage is a normal reaction to feeling like you didn't participate in the crap that has come down. However, your statement insinuates that Gore or Kerry any other candidate are either of completely different conviction or able to change the course of events significantly. I would beg to differ with that. The concept of globalization and all that entails was never approached by any of the candidates. None of them approached the concept of America as an empire and all that entails. And, finally, none of them touched the subject of predatory capitalism. Simply put, every one of them did not oppose the very basics of our present operating system because they did not and do not oppose it, and that sir is the crutch of the problem. Another candidate might not have moved so fast in the neocon direction, but all of them are neoconservative in philosophical and ultraliberal economic outlooks. The fact that the population as a whole doesn't know what this is about is the fault of an unthinking population. We have been voting people to office for 150 years that are of this persuasion. Whatever differences you wish to point to between the two parties I maintain are insignificant to the end outcome. You surely realize that those elected to the government are of a social and economic class that has a different agenda from us working blokes. Both parties have been systematically destroying the middle class either through intent or ignorance for over 50 years. Up until Clinton, it was pretty much hidden and making slow progress. Now it is in the open, and most of the population simply refuses to recognize it for what it is. So sir, I would recommend that you put your umbrage aside and start educating your neighbors, friends and acquaintances concerning what we are really dealing with. It is class warfare sir and always has been.

You are right about wondering what it will take to get people angry enough to take to the streets. But, we do have a rather unique situation historically. The amount of control of the media and the control methods of the population is far beyond anything that other despots could possibly dream of from a technology standpoint. Any abrupt change in direction of how we do governance is going to take a very large uprising and I’m unsure if that is even possible at this time. A few hundred thousand demonstrating will not do it.

Yup, we have a copy of Ruperts book. Have read it twice. Use it for reference periodically. I was specifically looking for a third party verification on the Dunkin Donut ownership.

While the stuff Rupert mentions is in the past, I think that people do need to understand the interconnectedness of these elites. Stated foes often turn up to not be foes at all, but rather an economic partner. Look at the government people that made money on all the wars since WWII and the industries that profited immensly.

Yup, follow the money is where it is at.

Rockpicker,

I think about the stuff you have mentioned and wonder just how valid the predictions are. We have had predictions going on since the Mesopatamian tablets and of course Biblical predictions. Most are in terms that are difficult to use to point to specific events and none have ever been infallible nor have they been useful for planning the future. The best we seem to do is look back and say, well it appears they were right on that prediction. Not withstanding this, Bertrand Russell did predict the day he would die.

If we put absolute faith in any predictions, especially catastrophic stuff, what would we do about it?

knew nothing of the movie, i don't get out much,..you know being a so called elder in the Cherokee Tribe, the wisdom of the Native Americans comes with a price, the fact that the tribes have been in a semi-continual rape for 500 years or so and the fact that the remaining ones are in fact under the gun of genocide at this moment ........ well, i wish no one harm even though in the white mans world this would be mostly the avenue of choice,
we are all of mother earth, and at this point further separation between the two leggeds is not going to give rise to healing of our mother, our home,of which apparently the majority of people despise.
The tears flow freely MRS P, when i see the scars being inflicted upon her,and the uncaring attitude of what continues to happen to our only home, not only by the whites but by the Natives them selfs.Thats how far the nasty influence has spread. To us the earth was a sacred place and still is to many of us.
The time of revenge is gone, it has no meaning whatsoever, the punishment of the past activities is being self-inflected and thats that.

The issue now as i see it and i think most of the brothers and sisters that attend this council see also, is what is the path to walk at this moment, and how in the hell are we as the perpetrators of the most heinous death inducing acts ever committed on this pitiful earth going initiate a healing upon her,...personally i feel that it starts within ones own chest, within the heart and see from there, the mind as intellect is nothing more then a tool and will never solve the problems facing us,inasmuch as thats how it got this way in the first place. The chasing of $'s is the chasing of evil, and that seems to be pretty much the only calling of society and the rest gets a smiggin or nothing at all of anything that actually means anything. Maybe i'm full of shit but thats how it looks from here, i live in crossed feathers about this and it is an ageless question MRS P,..
how do we regain our hearts, indeed, is such a thing possible,?
it seems unlikely at this point, doesn't it.

From the business section, famously sinister secret military-industrial-financial complex cabal The Carlyle Group is making a bid to acquire a donut company.

Why should you care? Because he who controls the donuts, controls the world. And I am only somewhat unserious.

Mrs P,

Over the last several weeks I have been reading more and more ominous articles about the state of the world and America. I have hunted for articles that give a more optimistic view and find only propaganda. The problem is discernment. Is all of the pessimistic stuff just pandering to the pessimists and doomers among us? Or is it for real?

For those that were old enough and around during the latter part of the 70's, you may recall that the doom and gloomers were at it then. In fact, I made a retreat from urban living and went really primitive living because of it. It didn't all fall apart then as I suspected it would from the information available. I keep asking myself, are we really right this time around?

Many good people that have been deeply involved in the current political situation have burned out by the intensity of the struggle. Cindy Sheehan, Mike Rupert are two of the better known. The neocons are succeeding in wearing us down.

There will be no chance of a popular uprising until the hard reality of the situation begins to slap the majority of people in the face, and then it will be problamatic and probably too late.

Organize locally. It's all we have left at this time and that is disappearing too.

You caught me on one of my more optimistic days Mrs P.

Thanks for responging, Murph. We have found the enemy and it is us (Pogo, 1970s), I have seen that quote a lot recently. -- yeah unfortunately we not only are the perpetrators, we also get to be the victims. And there won't be any non-participants.

In Soviet America, party finds you. We've closed the hated-evil-empire gap. Thanks, Dmitry, for pointing that out.

Even if the Libertarian candidates start winning in landslide votes, somehow I think their victories would somehow be nullified at this point. Not like there's much they can do to stop the avalanche.

Wish I had started equipping that country house 10 years ago instead of now. As I write this the Chinese stock market has had another 6 percent selloff, perhaps like the one in February... we shall see.

From Belgium,

Pandering to the pessimists and doomers.

This thought occurs to me on a regular basis and I don’t know the definitive answer. I don’t think we are supposed to. As you say, severe economic downturns have always been with us; major ones include the stock market crash of 1929 leading to the depression of the 30’s; the late 70’s as you say; the European one (mainly Britain) of the late 80’s and today. In each case the root cause can be traced to increase of the money supply followed by its sharp withdrawal whereby people cannot pay for the things they were encouraged to buy in boom times and securities get sucked into the banking system like a vacuum cleaner sucking up the dirt. It seems that the non banking population is being played like a fish on a line, first being brought in then allowed a little slack but each time being brought a little nearer the boat. The question then becomes, how much free line does the fisherman have? Now with new powers this administration has awarded itself, (the Patriot Act; the Military Commissions Act; this latest emergency powers decree) it seems that the landing net has been called for but on the other side the power of the internet has allowed the fish to catch full view of the fisherman. How much more do the bankers feel they can usefully gain before they pull the plug and at what point the public will call “Enough”? I do not know. All we can do is to keep vigilance, organize locally and enjoy the sunny days yet to come.

From Belgium,

Speaking Truth to Power has an article on Cindy Shean’s recent decision and in a way it follows on from my above comment.

http://carolynbaker.org/

Here is just one sentence which sums up the whole piece.

“What is it exactly that Cindy Sheehan walked away from? What did she “quit”? Certainly, it was not her feelings and opinions about the empire and its endless wars. What she resoundingly rejected was “hope”—that cousin to denial that so many “progressives” want to hang onto above and beyond all manifestations of reality to the contrary”.

Is all hope gone? Where the American people deserving of Cindy Shean and the incredible sacrifices she made on behalf of those same people. Certainly there are non so blind as those who don’t want to see. Can someone pick up the torch she has dropped? Or are we all to descend into the lowest level of Dante’s Inferno and pass the gates which say “Abandon all hope ye who enter here”?

Belgium,

My dictionary defines ‘hope’ as; “to cherish a desire with the expectation of fulfillment”. I think most people use ‘hope’ in the same way as ‘wish’; “the desire for something, usually unobtainable”. Some time back there was an article circulating around on the concept of ‘hope’. The author thought it was a zero sum term that perpetuated inactivity to solve a problem, or encouraged denial of a situation. You hear a lot these days about denial and are able to observe a lot of inaction concerning our world and national situation. It appears to me that the only action that would be meaningful in any way would have to be a world wide general uprising, which simply is not going to happen. Cripes, we can’t get one country to do a general uprising over national policies. In a country of 300,000,000, it just isn’t going to happen. Remember what happened when the WWI vets rioted in Washington? The government brought out the army and mowed them down with machine gun fire. A threatened governmental structure gets really vicious in its efforts to preserve the status quo. Happened during the Viet Nam protests too. It will be worse today with all the technology the powers have. So I would rather imagine that ‘hope’ is not a usable term at all.

In another perspective, maybe it is our turn now. We have been exploiting and manipulating people over the world for so long and maybe the bill is now due. No matter what, the comfort level of the industrialized western countries is going to be tested severely and most certainly, here in America. When it gets bad enough, we might have enough of an uprising to make a difference, but don’t hold your breath. I really do suspect that this has a lot to do with population reduction, demand destruction of resources, and consequent easier control of populations. Such pleasantries deny ‘hope’.

Palooka,

Precisely!!

Belgium,
I really like your fishing analogy. Carrying it even further, I would say that we are like fish in the ocean being harvested by a commercial fishing fleet. Scooped up in their nets, killed and canned right there on the boat, and sold before we know what hit us. The only problem is that 90% of the big fish are gone, huge regions of dead zones have been created, and the fish are poisoned.
Cindy Sheehan is a great example of the futility of fighting the system. She dedicated herself 100% to resisting the war and tried desperately to have her son's death count for something. I am in awe of the work that she and her Gold Star Mothers did. The Democratic party supported her as long as it served them, and turned on her or ignored her after the election. It has become clear to most everyone with a pulse that the corporations and banks call the shots. We're not leaving Iraq until the 30 year old contracts are signed. Period.
I think that if we actively resist, TPTB will escalate (and already have) with more repressive laws and tactics. For me, at least, I'm just trying to walk away from as much of it as possible. It feels good to not support the corporate media - no cell phone, no satellite, no cable. No big bank credit card, limited sweatshop purchases, no Wal-mart shopping, NO FUCKING DUNKIN' DONUTS!
They want us to be consumers. So, let's not consume. Let's be like the Amish - walk away from the "English." Shun them. Think local. If asked why, I'll say, "It's against my religion." What religion? Trout Fishing in America religion. Let's get trout tattoos. If we're gonna be fish, let's be trout.

From Belgium,

I will second all of that Freeeacre,

Palooka,
Are you telling me that we should remove all the threats of terror but leave the terrorists intact? How are you going to do that, it seems like a very abstract concept to me.

Murph,
Aaron Ruso in one of his video interviews agreed that the world was overpopulated but said that he personally did not want to walk along the population line and do the choosing.
There are workable alternatives like the Chinese model which I mention from time to time whereby each female is restricted to one offspring during her lifetime. The fact that this is largely unheard of in the West has probably more to do with not drawing resource depletion into the forefront of public attention, whereas resource usage is necessary to keep the banking machine turning. This suggests to me that population control is going to be achieved by lulling the public headlong into a hard crash. Many valuable assets will then get sucked into the banking Hoover.

Why America? I don’t think it is any form of retribution for being bad people. It is more likely to do with being the country where there has traditionally been more industrial wealth accumulated but which is now industrially moribund. Work is now outsourced to peoples who expect less but the products of this work can still be sold for high profit in the USA, by those that can still afford them, that is, but this is becoming a decreasing number.
There are many conflicting and confusing signals about though. If the PTB are going to trash the USA then what is the super highway all about?

At 12:27 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

The Super Highway is about
1)killing the last semi-powerful union in America (the Teamsters) by replacing them with non-union and/or Mexican drivers;
2) creating a new currency (the Amero) to replace the dollar after it crashes;
3) to finally not have to deal at all with that pesky American constitution and any environmental standards to uphold by the corporations;
4)to start the competition all over again with the North American Union having a comparable population of low-paid peasant workers who are compliant because they are desperate.
I'm sure there is more to it, but these are the ones off the top of my head.
cheers

Belgium,

State mandated birth control is only going to work in a police state, literally, or figuratively. But, a bigger problem is time. With all that is happening, would there even be time for that to take effect? After all, for the impact to be effective, it would have to be over at least a couple of generations. Personally, it appears to me that we don’t have that long a time.

Your statement to Palooka omits that we are dealing with governmental state terrorism at home. International terrorism has always been with us. The difference now is the amount of state sponsored terrorism as opposed to small groups. The terrorism threat by small groups is in actuality small in comparison to the state sponsored stuff.

I agree that we are being maneuvered into a hard crash, and I suspect it is a concerted attempt to reduce population. While the PTB are evil S.O.B.’s they aren’t stupid. They know full well that world resources are running low. To preserve their position, they have to reduce demand, and that is only going to happen with population reduction since they don’t have enough force to implement a forced poverty without revolution. And what country to start with? The one that is consuming 25% of the resources to begin with.

I think that the PTB are counting on not having a total world collapse of everything, at least not a man made one. To further their control, they need more cheap labor and smaller populations. The super highway will further their aims and consolidate control over this big block of real estate.

I really think these PTB people think that they can isolate themselves from the really big catastrophes coming at us. A scary though for me is that they just might be able to. Aw well, I don’t expect to be around long enough to piss and moan about that too.

From Belgium,

Murph,

I will look up the Albert Bartlett video tomorrow and see just how long he gives oil. With a smaller population, alternative energy sources such as wind power will service a higher proportion of the energy needs. I also think that they have the Tesla stuff ready to wheel out whenever the future need arises.

I totally agree with the second paragraph, I think I misunderstood what Palooka was actually saying.

For the rest, it seems logical to me.

At 5:35 PM, Blogger Palooka's Revenge said...

b.... no i'm not saying that! but you're right. what i' am saying is abstract. why are they called terrorists? are they the only ones terrorizing us? if we're scared of our own fucking shadow it stands to reason we're gonna be scared of the boogie man comin after us. you all have heard me talk alot about denial and the role it is playing. I've made statements that denial empowers power-over agendas. we can argue that but im FIRMLY convinced such is the case.

so lets put this into the context of terror. pure, hot, metallic fear is not necessarily the same thing. both are energies and manifest as feelings. there are many forms. think about it... when it comes to fear and terror (and don't leave rage out of this either), the so-called "smart money", tells us its a negative... something that will control your life if isn't gotten rid of... could/will kill you if you hang onto to it even... something to "rise above". so, instead of MOVING with our fear and rage... allowing it to express and teach us what its all about without acting it out, we shove it away. thats a form of denial. throw grief and heartbreak into the mix too. how many messages are there to keep your chin up. stop crying you cry baby. real men don't cry. no fear. rage kills. the messages are everywhere.

like all these feelings, fear is an energy. yup, lets just get rid of all this negative energy cuz well.... hell, it feels bad! thats judgement and denial!! there are forces that FEED on that. some of those forces are running our country. my country. your country. indeed, this planet!! our denials are empowering them to do so. if you could go ask bush i guarantee you the mother fucker truely believes he is "protecting" us from the terrorists. and damn us for not being appreciative. remember jack nicholson's character in a few good men? its a form of the same pov.

the energies need to evolve. and can't/won't do that if its denied! it don't go away when we deny it either. it just goes into a place... lets call it the gap, to put a word on it. into that red shit hole some call the survival chakra. the red chakra. the one on the bottom. shove it all the way out of one's own personal energy field and where's it go from there? the collective maybe?

in the gap, energies run wild as perps and victums, preying upon one another! kinda sounds like the street eh? sure, good shit can happen too. but there's a whole lot more bad and evil shit goin on than good and loving or we would not be seeing the reflections we are seeing. its fueling everything we're seeing reflected. consciousness keeps trying to hold it down. control it. we fuckin demand it even. from our leaders, our military, our police, our government, our cultures, our social structure, our family systems, our educators, our laws, our religions.

if we shove these energies out and down can we rest peacefull that they're gone? never to bother us again? how did we come to have them present with us in the first place? it has to do with the dynamics of electromagnetism which is what energy is all about. ever play with magnets?

if we kill bin laden does he really go away? what happens to his essence? his energy? his electro? his magnetic? if we impeach bush does he go away? what about all the energies involved in that? what happens if we kill every terrorist that threatens us? one guy's terrorist is another guy's gun... his protector... his soldier, his policeman, his law. what's happening in the dynamics of the interaction of all those energies? conscious and, particularly, sub-conscious... running wild in the gap? thats whats going on.

of course, there is more to it. its not a simple thing. a lot more. guilt is playing a huge role. alignments are playing a HUGE role in those energetic interactions. i can sit here and post all damn day about the fucking criminals and how bad shit is. But, if underneath that, i'm holding to the subtle, general idea that, i really don't give a fuck what they have to do out there as long as i got food in my belly and gas in my tank, then i'm holding to alignments in ABSOLUTE CONTRADICTION to how i present myself here bitchin to no end about it all day. i say and claim one thing but the reality is something quite different. and thats a reality thats mostly in the gap... running subconsciously. its operating in the shadow so to speak. why? because i'm denying it. thats another form of denial and i guanantee you its in play BIGTIME! and don't think it ain't being used. and along with that maybe i have denied rage that just wants to kick some fuckin ass. don't think thats not being used too.

people aren't opposed to this war because they're opposed to it. they're opposed because we're loosing!! sure, some of us are opposed. have been from the beginning. but go track the numbers. do we have something to celebrate now just because there's less support for the war now? not in my mind. because the reality is if we were whippin their ass, support would be through the roof. and it really wouldn't fuckin matter how many lives it cost, how much money, or how long it would take. THAT is the american way.

what would winning look like? it would look like power over that which scares the shit otta us and threatens us or that which pisses us off, thats what!!

and, oh ya, population explosion? denial is causal there too. that and death are the 2 major forces involved in fragmentation. and now we have trillions walking the face of this earth.

At 7:21 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hey Palooka,

What a rant man!

I agree that denial, that is the non recognition or ignoring of parts of an environment, empowers the power-over agendas because it does not actively oppose those agendas.

I would like for you to expand on what reality is and how it’s determined as opposed to fantasy. What role does the information from the neuro psychologists have in this? Is there data in support of your perception? How does this tie into the deterioration of specific parts of the brain from environmental stress and the hard wiring of nerve synopses.

Hmm, maybe I should take this up in an email.

rockpicker,

Checked out alternet. Yup, 232 comments on the issue. So many I can't see any sense in making one. Just lost in the shuffle.

I find it amazing how long it took for anyone to take notice. This sucker was signed on the 9th.

Well, on the Preparedness Homefront, I have some news for the collective memory banks...
Our rooster, Otis, who was a very spectacular, committed, and determined bird, became quite difficult to live with. He had begun to grow spurs and became very aggressive to the Murphman and myself. But, when we discovered severe injuries to the females, we decided that he had to go. So, this morning, after thanking him for being a terrific rooster in many ways, and wishing him well on his journey, we dispatched him with as little trauma as we could, although beheading is not exactly a peaceful act. He was a tough bird. Had to boil him for about 3 hours before he became tender enough to eat in a pot pie. Not bad, though.
All in all, I believe that if we have to butcher all the meat that we eat one day, we'll be eating a lot less meat.
I'm hoping that the hens will grow some feathers back and learn to stick together on their own. Time will tell.
The four new chicks are getting bigger, and probably at least one will be a male. Also, one new dove has hatched from the 3 new eggs, so life, as they say, goes on...

rant? maybe. whatever it was it was directed to all of us. me included. all of us who wonder why things are the way they are and if we have any real power to do anything effective and sustainable about it. the human condition. thats what IT is. i submit there are causal factors and denial is a major one.

in that, i'm taking denial a whole lot further than the point you agree to in your first para. is there data in support of my perception around this? to me its everywhere. the data are the reflections. but studied by some officially sanctioned body? hell no. most haven't considered to look outside the box and considerd the possibility of a connection. have you ever heard anyone putting it into this context? that this is the causal factor that empowers power-over agendas on an energetic level? that the level of imbalance of an entity, both individualy and collectivly, is directly proportionate to the level of denial of said entity? that denial is the causal factor to what we call the human condition?

my perception is a result of observation. it is the result of 20 years of study. yet, it is speculative. and subjective. abstract even.

the human race is thousands of years old in its physical manifestation. why have we not evolved into something more loving and sustainable? there is no animal we know of as cruel as the human being. that is a fact that has been studied. why does history keep repeating itself? study history and we get a lesson in repetition if we can recognize the form changes. why is form the only thing that ever really changes?

what was jung talking about when he said, when an inner situation is not made conscious, it appears outside as fate? what was mf talking about when he said, i would not blame the instruments of destruction because we are the instruments of destruction? what was pogo talking about when he said, i have met the enemy and it are i? that may have been in a make believe comic strip... a statement of fantasy at the time. but a fantasy who's reality has come today.

i'm sure your aware that allopathic medicine deals primarily with masking symptoms of disease or cutting them out even whereas homeopathic measures deal with healing the sickness and disease by bringing the organism back into balance or preventing disease in the first place. think of this in the same context. iow, rather than having to challenge over-powering forces already in place or cutting the bums out, how do we prevent them from using power against us in the first place and how do we heal a situation that is already in place? granted, there are always going to be people in power positions and in many cases, we put them there with conscious intent to do so. but i doubt we did that to have them turn around and use those positions to over-power us and others against our will as long as our will falls within the stated guidelines and their power to enforce those guidelines.

can you feel it when this is happening? i can. we all can if we haven't lost all ability to feel. this circle is a testiment to that. and a testiment to the fact that those who gather here haven't lost all ability to feel when they're being over-ridden.

how do we prevent this from happening? how do we heal it so when we put the next one in power, he doesn't do the same damn thing... another form (the new person) doing another form of over-riding others with his power? this is an example of the form change i'm was talking about.

the kind of denial i'm talking about are all forms of denial of self. anything that, when we peal the onion back, comes to some form of that. the forms are myriad. some are glaring. most are subtle. yet the fallout can be catastrophic to both the individual and the collective. when we deny the self in some way, any way, we deny our personal power in a commiserate way. i'm suggesting that its that simple. that denied power is then subject to be hi-jacked. i'm speaking of this on an energetic level and it oozes into the collective and has an impact and affect on everything.

expand on what reality is? which one? there are lotsa them. objective, subjective, conscious, sub-conscious, physical, metaphysical, micro, macro, and on and on. let me ask you a question murph. where do your thoughts come from? your feelings, your idiosyncrisies, your proclivities, your desires, your inclinations, your points of view, your instincts, your passions, your love, your hatred, your habits, your obsessions, your beliefs, your judgements, your fantasies, your body politic, your spiritual politic, your attraction to freeacre, all the things that add up to what makes you you? your realities. i'm talking about your imprints and the original, causal factors that wired your dna, wired your brain, wired your emotional body and so on, in the first place that manifests as you.

expand on reality as opposed to fantasy? reality's only opposition to fantasy is when we make it so. how do we know fantasy isn't reality in another dimension? do dimensions interact? one man's ceiling is another man's floor. fantasy's fantasy is reality to it. what is reality to me may be fantasy to you. what is reality to us here in this circle in reguard to the crisis we find ourselves in is likely fantasy to TPB, the neo-cons, the corporatocracy, the repugs, the dems even, the christian fundamentalists, and so on. and vicie-versie. fer sure! fantasy at best. evil at worst.

your last question is valid but requires a post unto its own. perhaps later.

rip otis!

i wonder if he'd mind one final indulgence post feast to speak to murph's last question to me... how does this (by "this" you meant the role of denial?) tie into the deterioration of specific parts of the brain from environmental stress and the hard wiring of nerve synopses.

i really can't prove a connection there. but something was going on for him to become aggressive. was it just the old rooster syndrom? was he just being a rooster gettin cantanquerous in his old age cuz he's wired to do so? or did something happen in his environment to trigger it? and, if so, why did it manifest in this form?

whatever was going on on an energetic level likely was instrumental. his body responded by growing spurs to help him carry out the agenda of agggression. the aggression is a reflection of him using his power to over-ride and prey on his environment for some reason in his energetic politic relative to his environment.

something happened for him to respond this way and 10 to 1 he felt threatened for some reason. i grew up on a farm and not all roosters get aggressive in their old age. but they are wired with a tendency to be aggressive, even in young age. and they all grew spurs. we had chickens free-ranging around the homestead. the roosters used to chase my baby sister all the time. certain ones more than others but they were all in on it.

8 of us in the family and she was the only one they chased. she was afraid of them. i asked her once if she could remember if she was afraid of them before they started chasing her but she couldn't. all she could remember was being terrified.

yet she was the only one they chased. were they picking up on the fear and preying on it? what in her energy field mixing into their energy field triggered 'em?if she had been able to move with that fear allowing it to express in a state of acceptance for it to teach her what it was really all about and rooted in, would she still be afraid of roosters? would the roosters still have chased her?

only the fear and otis know.

Palooka,

Freeacre is in the process of writing a post on the Otis saga.

Your comments are interesting. I have lived with domestic and wild animals a great deal of my life. I have followed the thought that myself and the animals reach an agreement on how we will deal with each other that for the most part has been successful. With Otis I couldn't even get a truce. It got to the point that we would eye each other with great unease. His unease I suspect had to do with the hens, although I never got him to say, even though I asked repeatedly. I gave it my best shot to pacify him and he just got more aggressive, to the point that I was concerned with him actually hurting someone, particularly a kid. It's like having a stud horse, or a bull or a billy goat or a boar. Sometimes it's not a problem and other times they can actually kill you, reasons not known. I have full empathy and understanding when it involves wild animals, but with domesticated species, due to a communication problem, either incomplete or missing altogether, it just doesn't work out to the satisfaction of the parties concerned. Sort of like how human to human interactions go. The motivations just are never made clear.

But the capper with Otis was the threat to the health of the hens that finally decided the issue. I had a billy goat once that mounted the does so often that he was injuring them. He had to go also. If you haven't the facilities to separate them, you either take a loss of the females or change the males.
