Cyclone Saves the Republican Party (Gag)

The Republican Party is in deep shit, and is likely too far down to make a comeback in my lifetime. One can only hope so, anyway. But, there are a couple of ways they can play this to try to salvage something from the mess that they have created for themselves. Both options, of course, revolve around the Boosh administration, specifically, the Vampire Dick Cheney. Here we go.

Option 1:

Maintain the insane status quo and write off being a viable political force as a party for the next several decades. The current crop of Senators and members of Congress don’t like this option one bit, but thus far they have shown no ability to sway the immovable policies of Booshco. They did themselves no favors in defying the Moron in Chief on the recent immigration issue, which incidentally was the right thing to do in my opinion. But, it might not have mattered anyway. As we know, Boosh has thus far been immune to any outside pressures no matter how reasoned they may seem.

When Richard Lugar, of all people, says that the gig is up in Iraq and that is brushed off by the White House, there is likely little chance that Boosh can be moved prior to next year. The administrations response to Lugar’s brilliant dialogue was laughable. For those that don’t know, they simply said that his views had been known for some time in the White House and this was nothing new. No biggie, just one Republican Senator caving to the polls. But, to put this in proper perspective, we should probably back up and take a look at just who Lugar is and what this really means, regardless of the spin the White House chooses to put on this event.

Richard Lugar is a Senator from my home state, Indiana, and is about as staunchly conservative as they come. He is also one of the most respected foreign policy experts in the Senate. It is true that he has privately been telling politicians both in the White House and on Capitol Hill that we need to start pulling back in Iraq for some time, but has never said so publicly. Why? Because he is a true Republican, and believes that overall they have the right vision for America. But, though I disagree with nearly everything Dick Lugar stands for and represents, he has finally had enough with the fiasco in Iraq. For him to make the speech that he made on the floor of the Senate is no small thing, despite Booshco’s attempt to downplay it. Lugar will be a Senator from Indiana for as long as he wants to be. He generally garners 70-80% of the vote regardless of who runs against him. No truly credible Democrat even bothers to run against him in any election because they don’t have a prayer, and they know it going in. So, why waste the money and a possible viable candidate merely to be thrashed come election day? Lugar could probably gun someone down in the middle of an Indiana street at lunch time and still carry 65% the following election, so polls don’t matter in his case. He has warned Boosh over and over in private that they had better make some changes in Iraq, changes similar to those Jack Murtha has been touting for a long time. After being ignored for so long, he finally became fed up with it and went public. For that, he has to be admired, and you will soon see many more Republicans jumping on his bandwagon in an attempt to save their Party and their jobs.
So, that’s what Option 1 boils down to; get Boosh to move on Iraq and they might be able to resurrect some glimmer of hope for the next election cycle. It’s really all about Iraq and the Mid East, and they know it.

Option 2:

This requires some drastic action, and is not as unfeasible as you might initially think. So before you go off thinking that Cyclone has gone mad, hear me out because this revolves around the Vampire and really could happen.

As anyone who has read this blog for a long time knows, I said long ago that Cheney and Boosh would not finish their terms in office. I would currently amend that to say that Boosh will likely finish his term, which shows just how pathetic a nation we have become. But, if the Republicans are to be saved, Cheney will not. Were I running the Republican show, the Vampire’s heart would suddenly start beating a little irregularly and he would need to resign for “health reasons,” and here’s why.

There is no Republican currently in the Presidential race that can defeat whoever the Democratic nominee happens to be. That’s not just me talking, that is also the Republican strategists talking. Guliani has no chance, McCain has become a joke and is taking on water faster than the Titanic, and Romney is simply unelectable. Those are your Republican top three at the moment, and they are desperately looking for a new candidate to enter the fray. For that to happen, and for a Republican to have a sniff of a chance to win, a couple of things have to happen.

First, Dicky the Vampire must resign. Second, he must be replaced by none other than Fred Thompson, the current darling “outsider” of the Republican Party. Actually, despite his acting career, he is an outsider in the fictional world of D.C. only. He has owned a lobbying firm since he left the Senate. But that is merely a small detail that the Right is more than willing to overlook. He would then be running as a sitting Vice President and would win the nomination by default, avoiding the scrutiny that he would undoubtedly face should he announce his candidacy in the normal fashion. Should these two things occur, AND Boosh take Lugar’s advice and make a drastic change in Iraq, the odds greatly increase for the Republican’s holding the White House for a few more years. But, it must happen soon, before Thompson officially announces his candidacy.

Think about it. The Repubs are seeking the man on the white horse to save them, and the polls show that they believe Thompson to be the man. He would not be properly vetted until the general election, where all of the insults would be coming from the Democratic Party rather than through Republican infighting during the nomination process. He would be credited for giving some proper direction to the White House and Boosh administration by changing direction in Iraq, something that would return the majority of their base to the “right” side and bring them back into the fold.

So, it boils down to this. Is Dick the Vamp willing to sacrifice himself, ego and power for the good of the party? I’m betting no, but never underestimate Karl Rove’s ability to get done what is good for the Repubs. If Cheney chooses to take the high road for the first time in his life, ’08 could become a viable option again, perhaps creating another election close enough to be stolen. If not, may the Republican Party Rest in Peace.

****This post was written before Boosh finished the GOP for good by giving Scooter Libby a get out of jail free card. But, I'm going to run with it anyway. Now that Scooter is free, the viability of the above decreases dramatically, though I doubt that it is seen that way from Boosh World. I will comment on the Libby farce in the very near future.

Cyclone,
Ok, assume the Repugs are in deep doo doo. The two alternatives you talk about, I think, leave our one other alternative. Bush didn't sign all these papers giving him dictatorial power for nothing, and with less than 2 years to go. What about his claiming those powers? Think the public would go along with it? We agree that it appears that Dicky is the real power behind the throne. I don't think he is going to give up the great Strauss agenda for any saving of a party. If he does give it up, it will only be because there is someone behind him who will continue the agenda. I just can't imagine these snakes vacating the den voluntarily. And I sure would not recommend discounting their determination to use any means at their disposal to advance their new world order. Any stepping down for the good of the grand old party just isn't going to happen. Cheney with a conscience? Hah!

I am just as worried about the Dems getting all they want like Bush did. That is pretty scary too. Those suckers will begin social engineering with a vengence and most of it will be a disaster, like always.

I'd like to see both parties go down in flames, frankly.

There is a piece on Online Journal regarding the Holt Bill that Congress is on the verge of passing. Here's an excerpt:
"Congress is about to pass an election "reform" bill, HR811 (the Holt Bill). The bill will enshrine secret computerized vote counting, controlled by the White House.

The Holt bill would tempt the likes of the late Mayor Daley of Chicago and vote villain Boss Tweed of New York City's Tammany Hall.

How will our modern vote villains resist?

A "yes" vote on the Holt bill allows the federal government to erect an impenetrable wall between American voters and their votes. It will lock in secret vote-counting technology owned by corporations. The public will be shut out for good."
With the Diebold machines still counting the votes, the count can be manipulated to reflect whatever the powers behind the throne want it to be. So, what difference does it make if the "chosen one" is a Republican or a Democrat? Whomever it is, you can bet that they will be in the pocket of the corporatists. Period. I have the sinking feeling that by the time the weary and confused and hysterical populace finally votes, the country will be in the throws of a financial collapse, perhaps ethnic strife (involving Muslims, blacks, Mexicans, etc. etc.), perhaps full out war against some sort of attack within our boundaries, natural disasters, and God Knows What that we can't even anticipate yet.
Those pesky other countries - you know the one with the oil and the manufacturing and the nuclear weapons - are not going to be sitting on their hands for the next two years, as our country tanks.
I think something big is coming, and it ain't Jesus.

Murph and freeacre,

I don't disagree that what both of you say is certainly possible and perhaps even likely. I am just looking at this from a less dark, more conventional angle. While everyone knows that I think we are history, either financially or militarily, I don't think that martial law will occur under this crowd barring a strike on Iran, which could happen. Short of that, I do not think the people will stand for it. But, who the hell really knows?

I agree that elections are essentially a meaningless smokescreen to appease the people, and that both parties should go down, but that's not going to happen any time soon. I'm reservedly hopeful that we can at a minimum survive Booshco and buy a little more time. In the end, though, a revolt by the people will be the only thing to stop the machine. Sooner or later people will have no choice but to "get it." (more on that in a future post) Regardless, it's going to get really ugly sooner rather than later.

(freeacre, I haven't given up hope that Jesus will be the one that comes, I just hope he's first!)

lolo...we all have our delusions, I guess. I still keep hoping for that alien invasion that will unite the human race in the face of the extra-terrestrials. I've been looking for it since I was in junior high school. And, despite my skepticism, I have to admit that I send money to the Edwards campaign...and Ron Paul...even Mike Gravel. Just can't help myself.
I WISH the Republicans would "rest in peace." But they are like zombies - legions of the un-dead, just keep comin' on and comin' on despite everything. I think I should start wearing garlands of garlic and a crucifix...and carry a gun loaded with silver bullets. This isn't politics, it's more like a horror movie.

Although I am not directly involved in this, I second these comments. Nancy has done a complete 180 since the election. I think she has had a serious talking to by those that matter, which leads me to conclude that there is nothing left that really matters.

independence day, part 1....

(i was only able to write this comment earlier today because i took the day off to start early with what only remains as an excuse for a celebration of independence. then i got paranoid about posting it. perhaps i should have went to work instead. i dunno. we'll see.)

all things being equal, cy (welcome back btw. the circle feels more complete now. it seems i only started to get to know you and then you were gone) poses a very plausable scenario, even with the libby development. in fact, it could be argued that the libby thing makes his scenario even more plausable. another plausable turn this nightmare could take is one that sees artsie arnie riding forth as the heroic horseman. is it just me or do y'all find it odd that a bastion of liberal philosophy has produced the likes of ronnie and arnie? is it memorex? could it be guilt even? or??

all things are not equal and its probably more plausable now to argue the horseman will be a horsewoman. now, i fully realize she's repugnent to many but she's not a repug. hillary is a dem. but aren't we all asking now... what the hell's the dif? with bill riding beside hillary she is likely unbeatable. if that is what "they" want. put obama on the vp horse and its a no-brainer.

"they" of course being whatever or whoever is that illusive element that, we seem to all agree to some extent for one reason or another, has us by the short hairs.

forget libby. forget the disasterous war. many only oppose now because we are loosing. forget bush has his own party in a nightmare. there are still too many repugs who will remember bill-the-agent and forget willie-the-slick as long as it serves their purpose for he served their purpose well. enough will cross the line despite the collective, collusive efforts of the likes of rove using the frozen realities and interpretations of the dominionists to gather support and further the agendas of those he serves. betrayal is alive and well even in the trenches of the self-proclaimed christ-like.

but, by all things being equal, what i really meant is equal in the context of the status quo controlled by a shadow, power elite. an elite above even the corporatists, the neo-cons, and so on and runs the show from the shadows. i'm guessin hillary is already in their pocket as was/is bill. this would be an election they wouldn't have to rig because it will already be written in the tea leaves. betraying the repugs who have gone to great length to insure the rig would be child's play for them.

the elitest of the elite could give a rats-ass for a years long, grass roots base built on a belief that it's god has commanded them to "re-claim america for christ" as long as they can manipulate that base to their own end.

and speaking of those dominionists; re-claim america, they claim? just when the hell did it ever belong to christ in the first place? only in their minds did this ever happen. and of course, the road to christ's america is littered with blood and the coming corpses of every gay and every right-to-choice, evil-doin, sinner per the mantra of the cursade... "Seize your armor, gird it on/Now the battle will be won/Soon, your enemies all slain/Crowns of glory you shall gain."

should we be scared? hell ya!!

though by now the foundation of the christian right is quite a force within the party, the rupugs probably couldn't beat that donkey-gone-horse ticket even with a diebold stacked deck. there are just too many splits and, you watch, hillary cum willie knows how to play the jesus card too. she's already playing it in the debates. hillary knows the manipulation game and willies still the best damn politician walkin and he knows exactly how the game is played and the deck has been stacked. not that "best damn politician" is anything worthy of respect. it just happens to be the way it is.

but we damn sure know things are far from equal and they've delt the wild card to busco so, as many of you have predicted, the donkey will likely be toast before the there's time for a morphological miracle. right along with the thompson's and the arnie's and all the rest of us.

was this by design? on a certain layer of the cake so to speak, probably. which makes murph's scenario far more likely. the sin quo non of course will be an "event". or series of events. which means freeacre's read is right as well.

but i think she's likely wrong too. stay tuned for indepencence day, part 2... the coming of jesus. this is the part i've been paranoid about. it is not my intent to offend... p

anonymous p,

Thank you for your well thought out comments. One thing that we all know is that the elite need some of us to go away, for a number of reasons. The game is rigged, it matters not who leads it as they will be there in name only. The true "leaders" are unseen and unheard from. I simply want to see a pound of flesh exacted from Booshco, as they are the most evil, vile, corrupt bunch who have ever held power in this country. Alas, it won't happen, but we can always dream, can't we?
Thanks again,

indepencence day, part 2... the coming of jesus.

if this thing goes in the direction of an event, as many here predict, you can be sure that the event(s) will be interpretable in the context of the four horsemen of the appocalypse who's time has come according to the many millions who believe this. generally speaking this is the biblical, and thus christian version.

domionists, jihadists, evangelicals, zionists, pentacostals, born-againers, die-to-live-ers, islamic extreemists, christian extreemists, jewish extreemists: take a hard look and there is little difference when you cut thru the bullshit of where they appear opposed in their escatology and see where they are aligned. they only war over their various interpretations, images of god, and what their image of that god requires of them. that belief system knows no sides and is held by all sides and all believe they have god on their side. this is a reality even the media can't hide.

which means jesus IS coming!! probably in as many forms as there are interpretations. which, in my view, means this IS a religous war... this IS a re-playing of the war in the heavens between good and evil. and natch, all sides believe they are the good side.

and, oh, btw, wasn't it upon a donkey that jesus rode into jer-USA-lem on palm sunday? shudder me bones! sometimes the ironies are just too much!

now don't get me wrong and conclude that i've suddenly found religion and gotten my sorry, sinfull, ass saved. jesus comes in the context of myth. but myths have a way of being stranger than fiction to the point that they become truth for many. i posit the "reality", that is the "truth" in this case, is written in the imprints on a dna level in the differentiated manifested spirits. so it hasn't just become the truth. it already was the truth. that is what is playing out. the argument is only about the form it takes.

a significant part of that truth for many is assenscion. this i am all for!

some idea of assenscion is particularly so with the various forms of the christian right that now dominate the repug party. i'm rootin for em! for, where some may wish them saved, some wish they rest in peace, some wish they go straight to hell, i simply wish they get their wish! which, to me, means THEY GET THE HELL OFF THIS PLANET!! and, somehow, they don't take me with them cuz, damn, i really like it here and i wanna stay here! it feels like home to me.

now, beyond these realities, but certainly not seperate from them, i suspect there are likely truths or certain laws of the universe. you know, kinda like the laws of physics or the laws of mathematics. only bigger. like maybe the laws of metaphysics upon which all interactions of energies actually do fly and abide. including good and evil. including the myriad theologies. including the imprints running the show from thier positions of power and preying upon the imprints and denial of the masses to keep that power. and, to a large extent, these cosmic forces are part and parcel to a perfection of creation where-in we get exactly what we, as a collection of individuals, have called for and chosen on an individual basis so we can learn what we need to learn to get to whatever place in this universe, which highly likely includes all possibilities, feels right to us.

part 3, darth the wicked and, will the real jesus please stand up, will follow as soon as i can get what i submit is only opinion, out of me arse and onto the page. it was inspired in part by cy's 6:23 to belgium...

"there is nothing left that really matters. We're just along for the ride."

perhaps by now you prefer i spare you all who gather 'round this fire from my opinions. that can be done... p

A while back, Murph mentioned he was reading Mike Ruppert's book, "Crossing The Rubicon." It got me thinking, I should actually 'read' it too, instead of just skipping around in it and then putting it away, without really knowing what was in it.

So I started in a couple of weeks ago. I read only a few paragraphs, or perhaps, a few pages at a time. (I like to saver and consider this sort of intense journalism, and small bits are how I prefer to indulge really juicy stuff.) Believe me, Rubicon is juicy juice.

In fact, I'm finding it mildly coincidental that Cheney is currently so newsworthy, (a condition he must truly loathe,) just when I'm reading a bunch of dirt about the Dickster.

Oh, before I forget, *news flash*, this just in, it's official. Bush has finally attained the lowest approval rating of any American president, ever. Yeah! That's what I say!

Sorry. Had to vent. So, back to Rubicon. Ruppert has a chapter titled "The CIA is Wall Street, And Drug Money is King." In it, he says that in 2000, a "kilogram (2.2 lbs.) of Afghan heroin, refined at a 10:1 ratio from opium, was fetching US $150,000 in Moscow."
He explains how the Taliban banned opium production in Afghanistan in the late summer of 2000 and "destroyed almost all the opium that still remained planted; this was completed and confirmed in January of 2001." The author goes on to say "that the US completed its invasion of Afghanistan in November 2001 in the middle of the opium planting season...When the harvest of June 2002 came, Afghanistan had again become the world's largest producer of the opium poppy and the world's largest heroin supplier...The 2003 crop set new records, coming in at almost 4,000 tons...In November of 2003, Reuters reported that current Afghan opium cultivation was 36 times higher than under the last year of Taiban rule."

Anybody want to guess what this year's harvest figures will look like?

So, let's have a little fun with math, shall we?

4,000 tons is 8,000,000 lbs., divided by 2.2 makes 3,636,363.64 kilograms of herion. Remember, a kilo in Moscow in 2,000 was worth $150,000. Probably more now, wouldn't you think? But for the sake of the argument, let's say there's been no inflation since we took over Afghanistan. Based on the numbers Mike Ruppert uses, the heroin production of Afghanistan in
2003 was worth, (hold onto your chair), $545,454,546,000.00

Now, think about that for a while. That's a whole shitload of illegal cash. What happens to it?

I present this small tidbit of information in hopes that all will be interested enough in Ruppert's work to buy and read his book. It really is must reading.

As Cy says, these pricks are as evil as evil comes.

There is nothing they will not do to maintain their power. Nothing.

whaaaat?

Great post Cyclone. You've put yourself into the mind of a strategist who wants to survive by whatever means necessary. And we know they do. And they just might. If they don't envoke the PD.

It's an interesting time. Many are plastering their cars with bumperstickers against the current regime around here where it's been predominantly Red for sometime, that's saying something! All the Dubya stickers disapeared a long time ago, save for a few dullusional diehards.

BTW, none of the Dem people I know want to vote for Hilary for one reason or another but mostly because she too Republican. I can't bring myself to vote for her. She's not a leader, she's a pro-politician. Maybe she was once when she was in college but not now. I hope she's not our choice. I'm not registered with either party so I may not get to vote in the primary. My mom says this is really stupid and hates it. She hates the electorial college and doesn't understand it.

We might not have an election but if we do and if the voters get out and vote, their votes might get counted. Many people are against the Diebold and ES&S machines and if more of the public knew about the bill in congress I think they could be stopped. Let's hope most of them will be voting for the opposite of anything we have now.

I'm not trying to be cheeky but I saw a bumper sticker that said, God is not a Republican...or a Democrat. I think I got the message of it but then I was thinking they left out the other guys. But we all know that there's no real organization of the voters to vote away from the two crime families, (the two party system).

For those who think God is coming to save us from our wasteful lazy selves I think she/he,(if he's paying any attention at all to this mess right now), is thinking God helps those who help themselves and you all can just stew in your juices--I aint helping any of you!

rockpicker, You are smart! and those numbers makes one wonder about the market.

I did read Rubicon and it took me 8 months of reading a little every night, (with chills). It's the most scary chilling real life detective story you've ever read! When I first started reading it, Gary Web was alive. It was weird to be reading about him and then reading an email about his funeral. Someone else died in the book while I was reading it. The point is that everything in there was connected and is happening right now. It blew me away to read that book. My life hasn't been the same since. I wish everyone in America would read Rubicon. Don't leave out one page. Start at the beginning and keep going. I keep it handy like a bible. It has so much that's telling.

That much cash is enough to tilt the earth's financial poles. Gee, I wonder why the lamestream media political and financial pundits never seem to touch the subject...
The Second Coming Apocalypse of which Palooka speaks is interesting to me. I assume you mean it in a metaphorical or energetic way to accommodate the various end of the world scenarios of each of our Judeo/Christian/Muslim brethren. Fuck, man, and I am having enough trouble with the Second Coming of Clinton...It's enough to make me want hold a general mass exorcism and just see what happens! Maybe we could organize about a million people with drums and bugles and whatnot running around Washington D.C. exhorting the demons to come forth and be gone! That might be one exercise that the left and the right might all be able to get behind. Might be kinda fun.

Rp, I think the cash made from opium is probably a bit less than that. Even drugs work by supply and demand, and if the supply has gone up that much, the price will have come done some. Not that it matters, ha!

I listened to NPR's reading of the Declaration of Independence this morning and couldn't help but wonder how many Americans actually comprehend what it means these days. fa... the 2nd coming of clinton... lol, that was pdg!

independence day, part 3... darth the wicked and, will the real jesus please stand up?

from my limited view, freeacre's hope for alien invasion has already been fulfilled. a long time ago. and it hasn't turned out so well. particularly when we've dumbed down to the point we can can barely see the lesson for what it is.

what we call science fiction, et al, accepted the probability of form change a long time ago and what is alien can take human form and has been here on this earth for quite some time. they might well be right about that. there's a ton of circumstancial evidence in the ancient records, condemned anthropology, and forbidden archeology that confirms this should we dare to look. but there's no substitute for subjective experience and all that evidence pales in comparison to be watching cheney on tv and see a flash of him turn into a lizard for a split second. i've actually seen this happen and i know others who have too. could that have anything to do with why we call him darth? the question is how and why did he, and the likes of him, get here in the first place and how and why did they get so much power and is there anything we can do about it?

i've written recently and over and over that there may well exist, reasons... realities... causal factors, AND there may well be solutions that have never been considered before or been pre-judged to be the stuff of fantasy because, well, thats just how we're wired and there's nothin we can do about the human condition. and besides, its just too damn painful to consider. and written that these factors may be exactly how and why certain powers were put into power and remain in power over us.

just because ideas have never been tried before does this invalidate the possibility and potential of their realization? judgement prior to investigation or based on held interpretations of the past seems to me a certain way to loose a game before the first card that could create a new paradigm is ever delt. i suggest such thinking is anathama to true evolution and part and parcel to why we're stuck in devolution. stuck in devloution is one thing but to be under attack by the likes of cheney and bush is beyond disgust.

my guess is the "salvation" promised in the myths is just that, a myth. but, as i said, and as has been pointed out to me, what is myth to one may be truth to another. and it can be argued that we create our own realities. i certainly have no desire to stand in the way of the assensionists realizing their desire. i truely desire their deisre for that manifests for them as i hope mine manifests for me. and, included in my hope and my desire, is the idea that a vital part of the opening of the seventh seal is the manifestation of the concept of "right time for the form of right place" and right time for another shot at the great cleansing. and that that time has come and what is entangled in the energies here that is not in alignment with sustainable life and love manifest in body on earth can, as i said in part 2, GET THE HELL OFF THIS PLANET!!

i've also written that it seems to me that the real challenge that lies before us now is for each of us to become brutally honest with ourselves and consider that we might be playing roles we haven't been aware of. identify how certain aspects of ourselves may be lieing in the the same bed and entangled in the sheets with the likes of darth who we see as evil manifest, with the likes of anti-life forces that obviously walk among us, and with the likes of power-over agendas of those we see as our nemesis and staunchly proclaim to reject. and, if there's anything to that, then how we're gonna get ourselves out of that bed, if this is truely our desire to rise up in true heart, and live in love where no man can over-ride another unless the other consciously agrees to such. in the context of that, why would we ever call for a revolution to overpower that which is overpowering us? why engage in a power pissin contest? haven't we done that over and over and we still get the same result? from my view, the only thing thats ever changed is the form the same movie plays out in the next time. lets figure out how to get ourselves untangled from them.

and along with what is going on on this planet now my guess is that there likely is a godhead of some sort somehow interwoven in the energies and there's a whole lot more to it than the guy the beard on the golden throne in the sky who is already perfect and sitting in judgement just waitin for us to fuck up. a godhead that is evolving and seeks to know itself as we seek the same and capable of adjusting itself infinitly bringing credibility and validity to the idea that there truely are many paths and if one's desire is for love and life one does not have to adjust itself to someone elses "truth" (ie, this crap i'm runnin ya) about how to achieve that. the loving, living godhead will adjust itself to your desire.

and there likely is a real jesus as a part of that godhead. the heart of the soul. the balance point. and, lord knows, we could sure use some real, genuine, honest to goodness, guilt free, heart presence midst the heartlessness and the denied heart that engulfs us.

mrs p made an excellent observation this morning... god helps those who help themselves. i suspect it goes even further mrs p. god CAN'T help those who don't/won't help themselves. can't because its contrary to his own perfection of creation. helping someone who won't help themselves (assuming they have even the nimutest amount of capability) is another form of over-riding their gift of choice. some refer to this as tough love. its a concept lost to most of us and i suspect its because we're so damn guilt ridden. i know thats how it plays out for me.

fa asked if the message was metaphorical. ya the "jesus IS coming" was intended that way. but i'm dead serious about this being a religous war. the islamic revolutionists, the jihadists, the zionists, the dominionists, bush justifying his actions by saying he has a mandate from god, and so on... they are all dead serious! it can be a real challenge. a challenge that rivals the challenge to read the likes of rubicon. but listen to what these people are saying. what the history books called the crusades is on-going. and for the millions who are the foot soldiers it is no metaphore. we think that just because we're not saddled up and on the battleground or sitting our ass in the pew on sunday that we are not involved. but if we look within and find places where we are aligned with objectives, perhaps so sinister or so rupugnent to us they are the very reason we are not saddled up, then we are involved on an energetic level and that is in play.

i don't know, maybe y'all are sick of hearin this shit from me. sick of me talkin about free will. and denial. and now, imprints and a re-enactment of the war in the heavens! christ, what's next!!! sick of me saying... hey, wait a minute, maybe we're not just along on some fucked up fate we have no control over. maybe we are responsibly for our own choices and those choices, or denial of our right to choose what feels right to us, are our fate. maybe not making a choice is a choice. maybe the challenge is for us to claim the rights bestowed upon us by our source. that godhead, or great mother/father/god, or higher power, or self determination, or whatever you choose to call it.

sick of me saying hey, with all due respect for what you hold to be your truth folks, what we are seeing is a reflection of ourselves. of saying its damn past time we get angry and proclaim that I'M A HUMAN BEING GOD-DAMN-IT AND WHATS GOING ON HERE IS KILLIN ME!! of saying that just maybe denial of that proclaimation is the original, causal factor and the very thing that stands between us and our destiny. of saying that we can change that on a dna level but we have to get ourselves out of the box we're trapped in and recognize we've been playing the same game over and over and consider a new paradigm of possibilities that we've thus far considered to be only impossible or pure fantasy at best. of saying the personification of the very evil which has us by the short hairs is not the worst thing that can happen. the worst thing that can happen is to do nothing.

its not easy stuff to look at and the challenge is daunting. but i suspect it is what we are facing. and i suspect we have been facing it since the beginning of creation and it ain't going away until we learn the lessons. and frankly, i suspect the godhead is right in here with us in the learning of the lessons. for if the godhead is evolving too and not some static, already perfect pie in the sky as so many have interpreted, then we can see god in a whole new light. we can see how we're in this thing together. and then god can get down here on our level and in the trenches with us. thats the challenge. drop the walls and allow god in so we can learn together.

maybe this is coming off like a lecture or i'm preaching but that is definitly not my intent. maybe you're sick of hearing it for whatever reason. if thats the case, hell, be direct, say so! i've no intent to shove my opinions where they are not welcome. i'm willing to back off and will do so if that is your desire. but i will hold you in my heart. there is a uniqueness here around this campfire. and that uniqueness, that differentiated spirit, that hopelessness come in from the wilderness to gather together in council with one another, is the flame for our own future, our salvation, and the salvation of life on this planet.

hopelessness abounds. and with damn good reason. you can choose to give up. that is your right. personally, i refuse and continue to choose life even as death still holds the trump card on me. whatever you each choose, i wish you happiness with it.

in cahoots for life, love, and true freedom, a damn far cry from what we've settled for. and happy independence day... p

WOW!!
Its hot and heavy today, wheew, lord have mercy, p from alabama i was born with a hole in my box as i think we all were or we would not have been guided to this house of sacredness and the fire of life.
Holy fuck this is great, what an energy blast, man i can see the painted horses peeling off the tee pee and running like the wind.
You all so great i just can't believe that such a group could generate this awesomeness of excellence.
It seems as if the things that are being said are right on target and need no furtherness from this one, so i will digress to a little more mundane,? maybe,... this is about the little awareness that happens with some regularity these days and the latest is this, a day or so ago while preparing a morning cup of coffee there appeared a small frog in the kitchen sink.It somehow had crawled through the drain hole and was hopping around the sink.
A little later i was thinking about this and realized that i used very little soap to clean stuff in the sink and that the frog was a testament to that fact. And then and now, every time i wash something there i am conscience of not harming the frog by dousing it with toxins. The drains are its home. And then i sought to communicate with it because of the circumstances and thought it might be another spirit guide to add to the ones that already take care of my poor delusional outlook on life.
And sure enough she is.
So excuse me for this interruption of stuff that more then likely needs considerable more attention then the story about my new consort and protector, her name is Vendetta.
Happy fire crackers to all of on this day of recall, off the wall but i was born in Independence Kansas.

Peace and love, Peace and love

ras... your 6:21. ya, i agree. i used the horsemen both metaphorically and literally.

i'm not a proponent of a book held to be THE book when it has been so manipulated over the ages by those more interested in it saying what they want it to say than preserving the original document that is now, likely unrecognizable.

still, i hold there is validity to the story and the prophecies. the problem is not limited to the hijacking for personal interest. it is exacerbated by the interpretations and conclusions drawn about what it really means for us as a prophecized event that have now become the prophecy.

i'm not being just critical of that for i interpret too. for example, the opening of the 7th seal.

i interprete that to be the 7th chakra... the one most heavily judged and denied. the one where all the unwanted, unacceptable shit gets dumped. the one also home to the survival chakra.

as you know, you and i are pretty much in agreement that momma's movin. and this is most obvious in the earth now which i think we both hold to be a living aspect of mother god. we are experiencing incredible, escalating natural events. some ascribe this to global warming caused by human factors and some say it is the normal, cyclical interactions of the sun and the earth.

i think both are in play and it goes much, much deeper on an energetic level and on a metaphysical level. and, i connect this movement with the opening of the 7th seal as prophesized there in revelations.

the movement to clear all the denial held in the red shithole which can no longer stand the pain, the poision, the compression of the shoving back and down into it, is the opening, literally!

and yes, the pestilence, plague, famine, and war come forth as the 4 horsemen. the p,p,f,and w are literal. they are real riding metaphorically as the horsemen.

can you only see in word on this page how much your wisdom and sense of humor has meant to me and how much it has impacted and influenced me or can you feel it traveling to you on the energies? i highly suspect the latter.

i'm gonna go into town and watch all the colors exploding in great glory as the blue sky turns to greet the darkness this evening just like they did way back when.

and i'll be thinking of you. welcome to your new guide. i can't wait to hear what frogie has to say. i particularly want to hear about when he went a-courtin!

news flash!!!

ya'll all remember the discussions we've had about free energy?

y'all remember about this company in europe called steorn that claims to have stumbled onto a free energy source? they now call this technology orbo....

"Orbo produces free, clean and constant energy - that is our claim. By free we mean that the energy produced is done so without recourse to external source. By clean we mean that during operation the technology produces no emissions. By constant we mean that with the exception of mechanical failure the technology will continue to operate indefinitely."

and you may recall further that they gathered together a jury of scientists to examine and give a peer review? these are all phd or greater scientists, many are experimental physicists, scattered around the world and their purpose is to validate or reject validity. that review is in process.

steorn has also organized a developers forum...

"Following validation Orbo technology will be made available via our online developers forum. This forum will allow everyone from a product developer to a research organization to understand and develop products based around our technology.

The Developers Forum is currently in trial with several hundred users."

well, a good bud of mine, who also happens to work for me, was the last individual to be accepted to that forum.

he called me a little while ago to say that steorn has put together an actual physical demo. its set up at the kinetica museum in london...

"Kinetica is the UK's first museum of kinetic art. It will actively encourage the convergence of art and technology, providing an exhibition space in central London where the most important examples of kinetic, technological and electronic art, both past and present, can be properly stored and displayed."

there are 4 cameras situated around the demo that will go live online. there is some confusion about when exactly. today? tomorrow? 6pm london time? usa time?

here are links...

http://www.steorn.com/

http://kinetica-museum.org/

http://freeenergytracker.blogspot.com/

this is a blog where you can follow the chatter as this thing unfolds. you'll find links to the cameras there. none are live yet... p

Well, this Independence Day is getting better and better, with the council's input. I was starting out pretty sad about the loss of liberty and all that the Declaration of Independence says, but now I am encouraged by the free thought around our campfire. Murph is building something under the trees outside. The chickens and the dog are running around. I am making bread and potato salad and rhubarb compote. Going to go out and get some vegie hot dogs, and maybe invite some neighbors to a picnic. Gonna have a bonfire and think on these things... Vendetta ought to be able to give us the scoop on the reptiles...being an amphibian. Things are looking up. :)
Love to all.

To All,

Happy Fourth, though not for the usual reasons. Just happy fourth to all who visit here. The comments have been outstanding!

I'm doing something different tonight. Going to a baseball game (I know, not so different) but as a spectator! No one will call me names unless they recognize me. Surely I can stay hidden among 15,000 people! I hope so anyway. Beer, peanuts and baseball. What could be better?

Cy & Murph and all who gather in this holy place, happy 4th to the true american thinkers connecting here. It's been a mellow day so far in this little corner of the West. We made our veggie dogs and now listening to some reggae and envoking some spirits around here. The birds are singing along. I might even get my hubby to try some Soy Delicious Ice cream on his pie. We are all one and connected so places like this are beautiful where we give and absorb little pieces of each other.

Deer Hunting with Jesus sounds like it could be theraputic and healing. I will make it a goal to get and read. I saw a little about it at Joe's site. So far I'm loving what I've heard about it.

Cyclone's "saving" scenarios, and all the others opinions on that in here are most fascinating and conjure up all sorts of possibilities that I would not have zoned in on by myself. This is a great learning tree here. And in spite of the impending doom coming our way and the alertness that it requires, being able to share and learn here is a comfort, I feel "independent and free", (even though we're not really)and I'm very grateful for it and all of YOU and what you share here. Happy 4th, Night of July Summer and peace & love to you and your families.

We tried to see "Sicko" in Bend, but it isn't showing there yet. So, we saw "Live Free or Die Hard." 'Way Cool!! Great special effects, clever dialog, and fascinating glimpse of what chaos would ensue if the major computer grids ever went down. Plus it's very satisfying in a sort of classic Scots/Irish kickass American way kind of thing.

OH, by the way, how's everybody doing with the rain and the heat? It was 105 in Bend today. At 6pm, it's 90 in the shade. And this is day 2 of Murph and I not smoking. Somebody, really, should put us out of our misery... how're you doing?

fa.... we b a wee bit thirsty up here in our little corner of the woods north of atlanta. far from dead yet. but the state is bone dry... driest since they started keepin records whenever that was. the smoke driftin in on the winds from the fla fires has finally subsided.

got buds in tex and kansas and they're overrun with skeeters and flees and other such pests cuz its been way wet above norm.

cy... 'preciate the kind words... thx. btw, maybe them words on the frt page are otta date cuz maybe its already happened! damn, we traded sex, drugs and rock-n-roll for THIS??

don't know how far back you go but i used to sway, blow smoke, and roll in the sheets with alot of the same folks who today look exactly like what we were rebelling against!! what the hell happened?

went to the big color show in town last night. also on display at the doins were at least a half dozen half million dollar shinny new high tech specialty "response" rigs. at least 3 w/sat capability, 2 of em with those big antenna's like the mobil media uses toped off with CAMERAS. one with a lab. all of em sportin county sherrif's dept logo and most of em with DHS logo's on em too. had to tell who was who, county or feds. only thing last year were a few squad rolls and a couple emt buggies.

as bob wrote... the times they are a'changin. but somehow i doubt what we got is quite what he was writin 'bout... p

Damn! You sure got a lotta heavy cop equipment going on in Alabama... and here in Oregon, our representative is whining because the legislature didn't fund enough cop money to make sure the state police can cover 24 hrs. of shifts each day. So, like part of the time we have NO COPS! Which is good, and we hope to keep it that way.
Mrs.P - You may need to reset your expectations of "Deer Hunting with Jesus." It is very good. But, I don't know if I would call it "therapeutic and healing." It's compassionate and insightful and informative. But, also depressing enough that you may want to remove sharp objects from your home before you read it...but, maybe that's just me.
I'm sorry that we missed your son's wedding, Rockpicker. Somehow I missed the part where you talked about it in a previous post until now. Send us a picture! I liked them both very much when we met them last summer.
Well, may it rain where it's dry and dry where it's wet, and cool where it's hot.

what i did see sure looked a hellofa lot like this though...

we're up here in n. georgia in what used to be the boonies. sitting right on the tailings of the southern appalacian chain. pretty country. if i high tail it i can make downtown atlanta in an hour.

Freeacre the event of the year(the wedding) is to be held on the 14th july,i will try to make it there if i can find enough parts to repair my old 87 toyota pickup truck which has been one of the most reliable ponies i have ever ridden, but after five years of awesomeness it needs more then a bucket of oats to keep her afloat.
P, its the waves, and i do not know how it manifests in my mind except as images, peeks, fervent bouts of intense listening that brings blood to the surface and a clarity of translated voice like sounds,. like language that is foreign but understandable, and hearing images and seeing sounds of which are remembrance of LSD and Peyote spirits that visit from time to time, and the Mushrooms that chatter like squirrels on something other then decaf and visions of peacefulness and trust and friendship and the love, that only the creator can bestow to one that looks or seeks these things in ones life.
Vendetta was hiding yesterday in an almost empty roll of paper towels atop the washing machine and upon making eye contact vanished into the drain once again. Shes shy and beautiful, light green with white spots all over her body and pinkish under her front pads. Her energy is,..gentle, like a cloud being caressed by a feather and very bright to the eye as unassuming playfulness. Amazing!! We have been given so much that remains hidden to most, but is readily available if sought after, but first one must set fire to what is, and let it burn itself out.
Or, get a bigger hard drive.
And P, your comments are excellent to me,as the energies are exchanged and the new awareness takes place and transforms the what is into something even more spiritual in nature, and the love we long for sets within our very hearts and longs to sing its song even though no one is there to listen but the ones that listen as life itself,in rags, in riches it listens and heaven opens up and the goodness of hot dogs on an open fire of forgiveness lifts our spirits high and we sing, sing, sing.
we are a chorus, of colorful energies bound one to another and in unison we reap what we sow and we sow good without thought to that. And away we go,
my god its getting hot, over a hundred yesterday and more expected, the garden under severe mulch groans with pleasure and heatlight seeking with dangling roots deep into the cool earth brings forth streams of passion fruit and .....ok that was an extremely good joint last nite and the big roach left over went well with a double latte from montana freemans state of the art, digital one of a kind, rarely used coffee generator mechanism system, of sorts.

Murph and Freeacre, my most best stuff and connection with the spirit issues forth and gives energy to your path of leaving behind those things that have killed some of my family members as lung cancers,...just last nite setting at the campfire in the cool of the evening my brother said to me that quiting drinking and smoking cigarettes was...well he says " i might as well put a gun to my head" as to try to quit those addictions,

We of native blood have not the genetic makeup to withstand the onslaught of the white mans firewater and its addictive qualities, and the tobacco which by its nature is a sacred sacrament to the people has been corrupted and has become a poison to us.

We live completely in the knowledge that we are a conquered people and would grovel for crumbs at the white mans table but the crumbs are poison also,so we are forced to return to that which was taken away from us and are relearning the ancient ways through trial and error, and the still voices of our spirit guides which whisper to our ears and eyes.
The native way is a good way,not without its imperfections, but the respect for the land, out mother and the creatures that live out their lives beside ours is being given back to us and i see that that which was taken in the larger scheme of things will make all of us stronger in the days to come.
We are learning that all brothers and sisters come from the same stalk of life and we work towards that end, that we live in harmony with one another and protect one another and make sure that each one is safe and that all family members are granted the respect that is their rightful heritage and each voice is a note in the song of the Great Spirit.
We live in the light of the Great Spirit and seek it council in these times of which the world's people are beginning to recognize the awful imprint we are making on our mother, our home.
Good issue today and always, this family of spiritual light beings,we are blessed to be here.

MF... i stand in awe. given what has been done to you, and to your people, both ancesters and those who have survived, and the lands and nature upon which and within which you strive to live in harmony, i am amazed that anything remains that could possibly desire anything but revenge. yet you and your people continue to teach us the ways of the heart and love so woven into your culture. it is indeed a testament to your people and to the human spirit.

such openness of heart is admirable. it is in your nature and the nature of your ancesters. we anglos can learn from that. but together we must learn from the tragedies of the past as well. so, a word of caution my friend... be vigilent and discriminating toward who and what you hold space open for. not all is in alignment with an open heart. indeed, not much is in alignment that holds the place of power over others and uses it to heartless ends.

especially, listen carefully for words that sound good but feel bad. but don't take my word for it. ask you guides about it. listen for the wisdom of your ancesters who lived and died the tragedy who's voice still wispers on the winds.

knowing when to close the door energetically is one antidote to re-enactment. a closed heart at the right time is nothing to be judged against. it is a rare love lost long ago. and guilt that tells us otherwise is a damn poor substitute at best and anamatha at worst.

btw, i know right where where your brother's comin from... p

Chicken Update: Murph has been working diligently on once again refurbishing the chicken house to accommodate the four young Supremes in addition to the adult 3 hens. So now we have 4 nice roosting nests, and new walls that are nice and airtight to keep them warmer in the winter. They also have 4 roosting bars to roost on at night. And, an additional room if they want some space. So, how do they show their gratitude? I guess they have re-grouped since the demise of Otis. Henny Penney just informed me that they have formed a union and she is the lead hen. She wants to negotiate for a larger corn treat at night, and extra for her, since she is the union rep. She says she thinks she can avoid a strike, if we cooperate in good faith. I guess that's what we get for decorating their walls with Wobbley literature...darn!
In terms of community networking, a friend just gave us a frozen loin of tuna that he caught on the ocean last week. In return, I gave him a dozen eggs and some rhubarb. Life is good.

From Belgium,

p – Nice one.

Freeacre,

Looks like you might have to resort to a bit of dickchenery to smash the chicken union. Btw, excuse the naivety at my great age but where exactly are a tunas loins? Bbtw, did you realize that Evian is naïve spelled backwards. Is that significant or even interesting?

Did you ever have the old BBC comedy The Good Life in USA? A couple in upper class suburbia decided to do away with money, become self sufficient and live by barter trade much to the chagrin of their posh neighbours.

At 4:55 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

lolo...good question, Belgium. He called it a "loin" so I am assuming that it's the thick part along the backbone cut somewhat lengthwise, like a pork loin. It's a hunk, not a flat piece. Haven't eaten it yet, so I don't know if there are bones. He gave us some tuna that he canned himself and that was the first time I had ever had fresh homemade canned (in a jar) tuna. Didn't taste remotely like commercial tuna. Wonderful!! He says to cook it, cut it into medallions and saute in butter with some sesame seeds.
Ha! "dickchanery" - great word! Yes, I would have to resort to being one of them to break the union. So, I am going to propose to do away with the ruling class altogether and JOIN the union. See what happens.
