Ports? Border? Terrorist Attacks?

It has been interesting sitting back and observing what has been going on in the political world without writing about it. It has also been hard, having my stress relief outlet taken away for what seemed like forever. But, I guess it's only been 10 days or so. Thanks to all who contributed while I was away, especially to Murph for working hard on an important piece. I will comment on that in a day or two. It's time that we begin preparing for the future. But, for now, I can't help myself.

Not much has changed. It seems that Boosh and the fools continued business as usual, and for the first time riled up the Republican robotic supporters in the process. Not only the base, but this time even those in office. They have begun to run from him like rats on a burning ship, but who could blame them? The only thing that a Boosh is good for now is raising a little money, and even that might not last much longer. One must wonder if it is worthwhile to have Boosh even raise money for those facing re-election, some don't even want him in their state.

Booshco also once again proved that they can do nothing but lie, shortly after bungling their way into another mess. First they say that Boosh didn't know of the UAE Port deal until he heard of the contraversy through the press. That didn't go over too well, kind of made people wonder if he had a grip on what was going on in his administration. Scottie-boy McClellan even said that this didn't rise to the level of even being "presidential," I believe. Sure. The "Prez" doesn't need to be bothered with something as simple as selling our ports to an Arab government. He's got a Civil War on his hands, after all. No time for a measly little port deal to be bothered with. Boosh was so out of touch that he immediately fired out the "veto" word. Oh my, that will stop them. But, it didn't.

So, they changed the story. A couple of days later McClellan says that Boosh actually heard about it a little over a week before the shit hit the fan. That shows that Boosh actually did have a clue, that he was on top of it after all. Of course he couldn't back off the veto threat, that would make him look weak. Knowing full well, of course, that any veto he offered would be overridden in less time than it took Apollo Ohno to win the gold medal in the 500 meter speed skating event. When it became obvious that this wasn't going to sell either, it became time to go to Plan C.

They then did what any good, lying, secretive administration would do, called their buddies and asked for help. Of course, the UAE were more than happy to accomodate. If this deal is legitimate, there is a lot of money to be made. If it's not, they could lose the avenue of allowing a few nasty weapons onto their ships. So, they are more than willing to ask us to delay the deal for 45 days so it could be properly reviewed, which, by the way, is what the law calls for. That should make this problem go away, but it won't. It won't because it doesn't address the issues that are the problem areas of this deal.

1) As of today Boosh has refused to acknowledge, that being that we are turning our ports over to a country, rather than a privately owned company from another country. Boosh hasn't accepted the fact that this really bothers people about this deal. Either he is the dumbest man on the face of the earth, or he thinks the American people are dumber than he is. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.

2) All this 45 day delay constitutes is a review by the same people who reviewed it in the first place. Sure, they will toss a couple of bones to Congress by giving them a little more information than they had before, but they in no way are willing to allow Congress to have what they want, which is the final say in whether or not this deal goes through. We were told that everyone who reviewed the deal from the beginning had no misgivings. Another lie. It turns out that the Coast Guard, the people ultimately responsible for checking the packages that come ashore, had some serious questions from the very beginning, and still do. They eventually agreed, but you can bet that there was some serious arm twisting that went on before they gave in. Meanwhile, back in Congress, this revelation has only made them madder, Bill Frist notwithstanding. Now that they know that they were lied to from the beginning, they are probably having flashbacks to when they agreed to let this madman invade Iraq. A couple of lies were tossed in there too, they recall.

The Democrats are having a great time sitting back and watching the Republicans fight this one out with their President, they see nothing but victory awaiting in the '06 elections. They had better not become too smug and take their eye off of the ball because this won't last forever. There are other issues that are a lot more important than this one, whether the average American realizes it or not. In the long run, it probably really doesn't matter who runs our ports. We obviously can't do it, so someone has to. When you are only inspecting 5% of the cargo that enters the country, you are sitting on a timebomb no matter who loads, unloads, or owns the ships. The fact that this has turned into a firestorm of contraversy is nothing more than a gift to the Democrats, albeit a rather fine gift. You couldn't ask for more if you are seeking to unseat a Republican in the next election, couldn't buy this kind of publicity, as they say.

For those who belive that 9/11 was simply a vehicle to get to Iraq, now is the perfect time for another "terrorist event." So get ready, folks, the next attack may be right around the corner. Maybe this time in middle America, just like Bin Laden threatened. Think about it. Republicans fighting Republicans, Boosh looking incompetent yet again. It might take a real distraction to bail him out of this one. Ever wonder why we don't pay more than lip service to our Southern Border? Hey, like with the Port deal, we need all the people we can find to blame for the next big one.

Cyclone,

Glad your feeling good enough to make a posting. Welcome back.

Yup, porous boarders and docks. I also expect something big to come down before November, probably big enough for Bush to try martial law country wide. Frankly, I am going to be amazed if it doesn't happen. It may be a rough ride for him if he does the whole police state bit. At least I sure hope so.

Murph,

Thanks. Now, does the post make any sense? I am still in a fog of sorts. It started off different than it ended up. More time off or is it an adequate start to learning how to write again?

Welcome back Cyclone

Plenty of money for the booshco. I really don't understand how they thought they could just blow this one by. It seems as if they are so confident in that fact they think the congress and house are boobs it must have hit a nerve with his base. It make me wonder how anyone that isnt profoting from this shit for brains could support him. I can understand greed but talk about fucking stupid. How many lies can a republican population take. Its not like they are all making 200 g's plus how can they support this pinokio sob.

I can see where having Boosh around could help raise funds! Boosh is a problem! The only way a Republican knows how to deal with a problem is to throw money at it! If you could get somebody to catch the money before it gets to Boosh, you can rack ass! Of course you'ld NEVER find a Repug honest enough for the job!

Aright guys! Here's the Boosh quote so get off Cyclone's ass!

"Absence of evidence is not evidence of asence!"

Translation: "Just because the shit it there, doesn't mean the shit ain't there!"

And the American people elected this fool TWICE!!! Yea I know he stole it! BUT WE LET HIM!!! TWICE!!!!

Yes it was Murph who made us do it with those e-mails, honest, it was him and as you know we are all as easily led as a GOP congressman.

It’s a real bitch when you are trying to work your way through putting a report together and you keep getting handed info updates as you go along. You don’t know whether to change direction or start over from scratch and how many more updates you will get if you do. Add to this that you are not feeling 100% and I can understand your frustration.
Anyway nice to see you back; launch yourself in slowly.

I see Mr Bush has been leaping around waving his jesters stick again.
This latest thing together with Iraq may make Congress wary of what they sanction over Iran (if in fact they have any choice in the matter).
As you say it looks like time to call his mate Bin on the red telephone.

If he was not so well connected, I doubt if he would find anyone to drink with him in any Texas Bar. I think he would feel like the germ that caught penicillin.

Murf,

You know I had to do it! I just couldn't let you off, man! I just couldn't!

My wife says thanks for the strength. She's feeling a lot better today so I'll have to tie her to the bed so she doesn't see what I've done to the kitchen! The bruises are fading fast, but hurting worse as the swelling goes down. I've had a lot of sugery on my face from motorcycle wrecks and brokren noses, so I know how she feels.

Bush is sad...and pathetic. He's also more things than this computer has room to store! If he does try the "Police State" thing he's going to have a big surprise! He doesn't have the support! He can try to, but he would be slitting his own throat. SoCom would get the duty of enforcing matial law and they've been groomed for the job since 1985. That's when the "Logistical/Tactical Questionaire" popped up on the final exam. One of the quesions is "Will you disarm, capture, and irradicate persons who share your political beliefs or race if you are ordered to do so?" If you answer "no" you're scrubbed! SEALs and Marine Recon are part of SoCom now. They get their orders direct from Special Operations Command. All the Navy does now is feed them, clothe them, and house them. Other than that they take no orders from the US Navy. In fact, if SoCom orders them to attack the Navy, they will! SoCom has as it's supreme commander(Guess who?) The President of the United States! SoCom answers to no one else and I mean NO ONE!

I missed Bush on the news last night. When you know the kind of shit I know, the fucker just ain't all that funny! (More ammo! Gotta buy more ammo!)

Oh Yea! Put something on my blog! It's all bullshit but you've been warned!!

Cyclone,

SEE!!!!! HE ADMITTED IT!!!!! Hope it doesn't hurt too much to laugh still! I caught your slack on the Bush quote, so don't sweat the small stuff! Get yourself some rest and get yourself well! We need ya!

This thing is fucked up! It won't let me post as a blogger

I can’t work out this contradiction you have given us. If the President has SoCom to enforce his whim and they are going to do it then why is he cutting his own throat?

I can see he might have problems with civil disobedience, people, particularly say power workers refusing to go to work and forcing the economy into a nosedive. Is this what you are referring to or some more general constitutional crisis?

Pleased the boss is feeling a bit better. Paper plates and eating with you fingers is the answer to washing up.

Confused in Belgium.

Anonymous in Belgium,

They will see the President's action as their new objective! They will supply him with a nice sharp knife. (I'ld give him a rusty dull one but...)

If further assistance of the President in the accomplishment of his objective, they will supply certain personel with the proper training to assist the President with whatever logistical details remain!

At 12:27 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Stoney,

If I read you right, SoCom would attack civilians if ordered.

Do you happen to know their strength?

Echoing Belgium, if he has at his disposal enough power to squash a general uprising, how would he be slitting his own throat with martial law?

Yeh, more ammo and people to use it.

I always keep an open mind as far as articles go. Found an interesting websites that talks about the elites and their secret societies that helped them get to the top. There are a lot of interesting articles on this site. www.conspiracyarchive.com

At 2:47 PM, Blogger stoney13 said...

Murph,

I'm not sure the President knows how many troops that SoCom has under their command! They use a little trick called "whitewashing" to fudge the numbers. It works like this: Let's say that a cocaine-lord in Bolivia isn't paying his bribe money to get his product into The United States, and threatenes to expose the whole sorrdid mess to the UN Security Council. This matter has now become an "incident"

SoCom has under their comand certain personel who can be "Whitewashed". This means that they can be purged from all military personel files when necesary. These personel (usually SEALs) will be given this wayward cocaine lord as their "Objective" and will be ordered to "secure" (capture and transport to nearest US interest) or "Liquidate" (assasinate) said objective. Liquidate is the order most often given. The whitewash trick works both ways too! If personel are on the whitewash list, The Department of the Navy have no information on the personel untill they are needed by SoCom and disapear! At that time said personel's record will be wiped back to boot camp and remain that way untill the objective is met and the personel is returned to duty. This is one of many tricks used to keep SoCom's troop strength hidden.

George the Dim would be slitting his own throat because he would die like Abe Lincoln! No! I'm not saying that I would do it, or that I would want it done! But it would be done Whether I want it to be or not! Funny thing about martial law: Whenever it gets put into effect, the economy gos to hell in a hand basket! with the economy in the dire staits it is in now, martial law would be suicide! "The Powers That Be" would take Bush out like last weeks garbage! By any means needed!

WW1 taught us about knee-jerk reactions to dead heads of state. Such a move on Bush's part could and very probably would rip the country apart, and destroy America as we know it. I can only pray that Bush is smart enough to see that!

Oh yea! About that post! I told youn it would be bullshit and proclaimed it proudly to be such! See!! Even when I'm drowning you in bullshit, I'm an honest man! (Guess a political career is out of the question!)

As for the future, these are articles I've seen recently which are more inclined in believing a slow crash of the economy.

Seems that the crash may be slow.....

Things to come (parts 1-4)
By Michael Ventura, Austin Chronicle
Published February 27, 2006
Novelist and screenwriter Michael Ventura envisions how we will live after peak oil in a series of columns that appeared in the Austin Chronicle.
Full story: http://www.energybulletin.net/13200.html

Then there is the example of how Cuba survived when they were cut off by the US and sanctioned. http://energybulletin.net/13171.html

Then Ran Prieur has his doom article in Dec 04 and then a few months later in Feb. 05 talks about the slow crash. I like his ideas on why total anarchy will not exist and that this is more propaganda.

1. Prieur, R. “The Slow Crash” Feb. 2, 2005; from www.ranprieur.com

2. Prieur, R “How To Survive the Crash and Save the Earth” Dec. 19, 2004; http://ranprieur.com/essays/saveearth.html

And then this article basically says that the Iranian bourse will flop; however there are other forces that I believe will effect the dollar and it drastic decline.

Paris, J. “Let me kill off once and for all the Iranian oil bourse story” Feb 26, 2006 European Tribune also found at http://energybulletin.net/13192.html

any takers in this theory?

efsaturn,

I have come across other sites that say much the same about the Iranian oil Burse and trading in dollars. Got to admit that I don’t have enough information to contradict it. The tone of all these types of articles smacks of the elites prayer, to me. “Please oh Lord, let it be business as usual”. Maybe I just want or wish to hard for them to take a fall.

On your recommendation, I went to the fresh Energy Bulletin. Hadn’t looked at it for a while, (among the other 40 or so sites I try to get to). I got to admit that Ventura’s article is very well presented and echo’s several others like it. Good read.

The article on Cuba. I have seen several on this subject I think over a year ago. It is very interesting how they handled it. Contrast that with how North Korea handled a lacking of oil. Big difference.

Yes, I am getting real familiar with Ran Prieur. I like that guy a lot. Very articulate and a good observer. His slow crash may very well be the scenario. He doesn’t say too much about what slow really means for a time line. He has not acknowledged that there has been a few fast crashes (2 years or less). A really big and serious catastrophe could make it very fast. My description for him is that he very much thinks outside of the box. Very much a good read and worth thinking about his writing.

Good post Saturn. I appreciate the observations.

I am wondering if Booshes base in eroding more as we get nearer the 06 elections. It seems that more and more are trying to distance themselves from him. It’s a slam-dunk to figure out that the neocons didn't like the ports deal and this maybe his undoing. It seems that it would make a very small difference if it did go through. This said I don't think that the security that is in place now stops much from coming through. But if Boosh keeps disenchanting the Muslim all over the world who’s to say what this company let slide into this country. It seems easy for most of these elites to get things done here having vast some of money that they do, all they have to do is show them money and help them with the spin. We need leaders with vision of the future not of how high a pile of money they can skate away with.

This thing in Iraq should be handled like this get these people together and tell them look were are leaving, you want to live in peace or fall into a deep abyss take your pick its your choice. You are young enough to make a change to whatever way you want to live. But if you fuck with us we will be back.

Get rid of this phony war on drugs. For what we get out of it, isn’t worth it. Personally I don't do drugs now and haven’t for along time. I just can’t see spending $65 billion a year on something that isn't working. There is just to many pros in favor of it compared to cons.

Israel needs to wake up and make things work. The Palestinians are not going anywhere. Either get something worked out with these people or prepare to live in perpetual fear of attack. I don't know about anyone else but its getting old hearing about how these people are terrorizing Israel, It take two to tango.

The elected officials have to look out for the good of all. The time has come for all the Dem/Repug crap to stop and start making decisions that are good for the country not just the very few that have most of the money now. Spot spending money we don’t have and start shifting money that is being wasted to causes that make long tern sense.

Corporate who ever they are, they need to take responsibility for the way they have done business and stop. They need to start investing in this shell of America again. This world is getting to small and this way of doing business will only lead to aggression. Stop putting profits over everything, in the long run (as being evident now) it only causes mistrust and suffering on the middle class's. Stop taking handouts from our government who the hell do you think will have to pay and eventually it’s going to be you.

Of all the things I've read I don't trust very much coming from mainstream. It seems the mainstream have been very complicit in all the bad things that are taking place. If someone is lying let them stand on their own two feet. If it adds up to being a criminal offense, they’re going down. Your job is to tell us the fact with no slant. Find out the truth and print it.

Well we have a shot at having the lesser of two evils coming up soon. I’m sure we will be hearing how things need to change the same old crap. I don’t thing we need the repugs in a majority any longer. It is apparent what they are capable of and will only get worse. They should not kid themselves, if the economy start to turn down which it is, unrest is sure to rear its ugly head.

I would love to change everything but it would be very unrealistic. This system we have needs to change and in a hurry.

Ahh Reality.

Once again us tree huggers are taking flack. You know not what joys you are missing. I’m sure you suspect, but you just can’t let go and enjoy the moment. The ecstasy from tree hugging can be uplifting. Just think of the joy when you wrap your arms around the rough sensuous bark, caressing the folds, slowly, carefully. Envision going deeper into the cambium, the slow caresses, bringing the juices alive with pleasure. You explore every little nook and cranny, looking for the entrance to fulfillment. Rubbing, feeling, communing with another spirit. Even the young sapling has juices to share. But, the older, wiser trees, there is where experience pays off. The gentle swaying to the breeze, the humming and rustling among the leaves and needles. Waiting for the full embrace which brings the ultimate pleasure.

So get with it!! You are right, enough is enough!! Learn to be with one.
