Fitzgerald To Strike Again, Soon

There is something going on within the bowels of Washington. It is difficult to pinpoint exactly what it is, but Republicans inside the beltway are suddenly feeling very insecure about where the Fitzgerald hammer may next strike. Many believe that reality for Scooter Libby has set in. Facing serious jail time, Libby may have begun the process of negotiating a deal with Fitzgerald. It is the only possible way to mitigate his punishment, and jail is not a good place for the likes of him. G. Gordon Liddy he is not. Libby is quickly understanding that this administration has chosen the tactic of "every man for himself." This revelation has come over a rather short period of time, and he realizes that he has been totally abandoned by the very people he has thus far chosen to protect. Interesting, considering the Boosh mantra of "loyalty first." Loyalty with this bunch is a one way street, as it always is when power hungry, moral lepers are in charge.

The question then becomes, how much does Libby really know and who all can he take down in his wake? I'm betting that he knows a lot, and Rove is the smallest of the fish. But, Rove is also important in that he can add a lot to the picture himself. And, rest assured, if Rove is indicted he'll be singing like a canary within days. Cheney is the obvious target, and Libby can take Fitzgerald there. Rove, I believe, will lead to Boosh himself.

The Senate vote yesterday to force the Boosh Administration to report quarterly on the progress of the Iraq situation is a direct result of the eerie pall hanging over the town, as well as a signal that the Republicans have had about enough. All signs indicate that Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald will make a move on another member of the Boosh administration, sooner rather than later. Exactly what that move will be, no one can be certain. I can, however, narrow it down for you.

Possibilities:

1) Karl Rove is soon to be indicted. If you recall, the day that the Libby indictment was announced, Rove was absolutely giddy in replying to reporters questions in his driveway that very morning. Telling all that he would have a "great Friday and a wonderful weekend as well." Since that time, many people, including those within the White House, have questioned the Boosh judgement to keep Rove in their midst. Many members of the Republican Party have quietly been "suggesting" that Rove might need to be separated from the administration. Boosh remains the same stubborn, stay the course moron that he has always been. The difference now is that he is doing it from a great distance. First he travelled to Argentina, now he is touring Asian countries. He appears nearing the point of abandoning former friends and current staffers, including Rove and his Vice President. Do not be surprised to see Rove "resign" while Boosh is away on one of his little trips. And, the trips will continue. Home is the last place he wants to be right now. Also do not be surprised if Rove is indicted shortly after his resignation.

2) Cheney's resignation is immenent. If my belief that Libby either has or is about to "break" is accurate, Cheney should be gone very quickly in an attempt to avoid indictment. My fear is that Cheney will ask for a "non-indictment guarantee," which Fitzgerald most assuredly will not give to him. Should that be the case, Cheney being the obstinate bastard that he is, might just hang around to muddle up the legal process. But, he will not wait to be indicted while sitting as the Vice President. If one's indictment is immenent, they have approximately one week of lead time. When Cheney resigns, if an indictment does not follow within 10 days, you will know that either he tossed in the towel early or struck a deal of his own. I think that Cheney striking a deal is the best possible outcome, it would indicate that the departure of Boosh and the rest of the crew would soon follow. If Cheney is indeed indicted, that will mean that we will probably have to put up with what is left of Booshco for a while longer. But, in the long run, it will not matter. Cheney is done. He can make it easy or hard, the choice is his. Regardless of which path he chooses, the house of cards will fall with him and then it is only a matter of time before we are rid of Boosh and the Clan.

The end game is nearly upon us. Fitzgerald could indict Rove today, but why would he? He is after larger game, the very head of the cancerous body that is called our government. Should he fall a bit short, never fear. The next "investigation" into this administration will be conducted by people with different methods than Fitzgerald, the CIA. But, the goal will be the same. To remove Booshco from power. Rest assured, someone will accomplish the mission, not if but when.

This is what I've been waiting for. Can you expand on the CIA theme? Please, we are dying to know. I've heard rumors.
